Me and my lady's first time at turquoise wine cellar and the experience was amazing. Such a small little hole in the wall gem but with an atmosphere of a vineyard in Napa California. Extremely knowledgeable staff like Bella that will guide you to whatever taste of wine you prefer. I really looked forward to trying a much needed Wine Bar in West Valley! My hubby and I went on a Thursday night at 5pm and were immediately impressed by the lovely decor and vibe. We were greeted quickly by I believe one of the owners who was very personable and knowledgeable as she explained the menu and the evenings special of a Red flight with cheese pairings which we tried. The flight was very nice and the cheese pairings were perfect to elevate the wines and the experience. The presentation was lovely but the 4 red wines we tasted were definitely 'just a taste' (i believe just a 1oz taste) and the cheese pairing was definitely "just a pairing" for $25 per person. The full food menu was limited but appropriate to accompany wine including flatbreads, salads, and charcuterie board. All looked fresh and plated nicely but portions very small. We really enjoyed the last wine we tasted a Cabernet Sauvignon by Eberle from Paso Robles and wanted to either order a glass ($17 per glass) along with some other food off the menu but instead we decided to order a bottle for $37. They unfortunately would require us to pay a $15 corkage fee to be able to drink the bottle at the wine bar. The staff stumbled to explain the rationale for us having to pay a corkage fee was because we were buying the bottle at 'such a discount' that they had to charge a corkage fee. Honestly this just did not make sense to us to have to pay a $15 corkage fee to enjoy a bottle of their wine that we just spent $50 to taste so instead we bought the bottle and enjoyed it at home by our pool. I did look on the wineries website and the bottle price was $52 per bottle for the 2019 or wine.com had the 2018 bottle for $45 but our experience and impression was disrupted by this policy. We easily would have ordered additional food and ended our evening more enjoyable had we not had this awkward exchange. Overall I loved the decor, the tastings and enjoy supporting small business but just wanted to share a surprise we encountered. I would also caution to not bring a large party as the space is small with mostly small round tables for 4 or counter seating. They did offer some fun events and wine club options to discover and I hope they can continue to grow and perhaps expand to a larger location but maintain their personal vibe. read more

Wonderful food atmosphere wait staff and amazing unique wines. Had the fig buratta and deluxe bread charcuterie board. Sat on the patio with our dog and had a lovely afternoon. We purchased 2 bottles from the bottle shop last night based on recommendation from the person helping us to take to a dinner party. They offered free sample of each before we purchased. Super cute but way overpriced. Tastings were expensive and there's a 15 dollar corkage fee when you have them open a bottle! I have never experienced that at any other tasting room EVER. We were so excited about this place...but all of the other tasting rooms we've been to have been way more affordable. If the corkage fee goes away...we might be back. read more
