I highly recommend Dr. Fernando and her dental clinic. The clinic always looks clean and is well maintained. Any time I have a question about billing, I get clear answers. Dr. Fernando has a gentle hand and cleans my teeth really well. I've gone to her about 3-4 times for cavity removal and some fillings. I am always happy with the results. More importantly, when she has a procedure with you, I really appreciate that she would check up on you to make sure you're still feeling ok and are comfortable. I've had dentists in the past who were terrible because they always practiced up-selling and recommended services I didn't really need, to get more money. But with Dr. Fernando, I know I can trust her to recommend dental care suited to my needs. I highly recommend her. read more

Idk how I feel about this but honestly I been looking around for a dentist n it seems like there isn't any good around this area, I honestly was so upset that the girl from the front office said they needed to reschedule my appt for not confirming, well one I would have not made an a appointment n not been able to attend it or even call to cancel, I didn't get a call the day before at least letting me know they would cxl for not confirming I've waited a whole month for this appt and a cancellation was very upsetting the front office gal was saying that they needed to go to lunch and that they wouldn't have been able to see, but yet didn't even ask the doctor before sending me away without being seen idk, why are things so different now I've worked in the medical and dental field for many years and not once would we automatically cxl without letting the patient know! My dad and I have been coming to doctor Fernando for many years and she is the only dentist either one of us will see. I moved several hundred miles away years ago and I plan my dental visits for when I'm in Orange County so I only have to see Dr.Fernando. She is extremely gentile, patient, and genuinely concerned with our health and well-being. My dad had traumatic dentist experiences as a child and because of that is very afraid of the dentist and gets shaky and high blood pressure whenever he has to have dental work done. Dr.Fernando provides him with a blanket, drugs if he needs them, and ample time and patience every time he's there. She's skilled in advanced procedures and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. She is just so good at what she does and I can't say enough good things about her and her staff. The location is close to the freeway, has good parking, and the waiting room is nice. It has always been very easy to get an appointment and the staff is friendly, helpful, and good at what they do. Her pricing is fair, and this is coming from someone without dental insurance. Please consider Dr.Fernando if you're looking for a better dentist. read more

My son is scheduled for an extraction from a different dentist and came here for 2nd opinion. After taking couple if xrays Dr. Joanne Fernando checked it and save my son's tooth! She decided to do baby root canal right now and it was awesome!!! The professionalism and TLC was way over 5stars. Will definetly be back here and i ended up making a new appointment for my daughter. I had an appointment for a check-up and teeth cleaning and she was informative and knowledgeable about the services I needed to have done and which should be my top priorities. Her teeth cleaning skills were fine, much better and less painful than the past times I've had them cleaned. The front receptionist, Ruby, was amazing. I don't know how else to get this through to everyone. You'll get quality care and a great staff, no long waits, and every member of the family regardless of age will love her (even my youngest loved going). Plus they are so understanding, my husband had to cancel on them so many times due to his work schedule, I almost started to feel too embarrassed to even show our face there again, seriously. However, they did not give up on us, they still liked us yaaaaayyy, and kept giving him a chance. I I'm not recommending missing your appointments, OK! I am very disappointed. I have Medi-cal and the reason for my visit was I needed dentures. The procedure was okay until it was time to pickup the dentures. They gave me a schedule to come to pick it up only to find out it was not ready yet so they gave me another schedule. The next time I went ,it was done so they were fitting it unfortunately the teeth were falling out from the dentures I guess it was made from cheap material. So they gave me another schedule to come back. I came to the appointment only to find out it was not ready yet so they booked me another schedule for the other week. I faithfully came to the appointment only to find out it was not ready again. They didn't even have the decency to let me know before hand that it was not done yet. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL This is ridiculous and unacceptable I wasted time and effort and they seemed not to care. After almost a month without teeth I finally got it. Even though my insurance was just Medi-cal I'm still a patient and needs to be treated equally with patients with PPO insurance. All patients should be treated with dignity and respect read more

However, my appointment was lost on more than one occasion and there is a new front desk person every couple months so I was never able to know who/why my appointment was lost. I was told I had an appointment 6 months in advance on a day when apparently Dr. Fernando isn't even in the office. And then I was told my appointment wasn't even in the system. Again, I really enjoyed working with Dr. Fernando as she is so sweet, detailed and efficient; but the front desk ruined any chance of me going back to this office. read more

Their clinic is cosmetically appealing but also very clean with friendly staff who greets you with a nice smile as you walk through the door. I know a lot of people hates seeing a dentist but they have a well trained staff and a dentist who is really good. Dr. Fernando is highly competent and makes you feel very comfortable. I'm in my 50's, been to quite a few dentists. I have never had the numbing experience with no pain. She uses magic "sleepy juice", as I watched my grand daughter get her work done, and she didn't flinch! (She's 7). I was so impressed, I went as a patient, Dr Fernando went out of her way to get the work done that I needed really quick, as I am moving to another state. She's quick, thorough, painless and very caring. Kids love her and So Do I!!!! It's scary not knowing what you are getting, until you read about someone AWESOME!!!!
