Went in for an ice cream and got it for a decent price and they packed the cone! Love it. They just need more flavors.

We had a great late lunch here! The place is pretty small but I was happy to see all 4 tables and…read morethe bar were packed when we got there. It was about a 10 minute wait for a table to clear, we got lucky. It was our first time having Peruvian food so we got a bit of everything. Mar y Tierra which is basically the lomo salteado served with pasta in a cheesy sauce instead of fries and rice and topped with shrimp, super tasty, well seasoned and tender meat. The trio Marino; fried fish was fresh and super tasty, especially topped with the citrusy red thin sliced onions; ceviche was light, refreshing, the corn gave it nice crunch and pop; arroz chaufa de mariscos had a good amount of shrimp, squid, and topped with a scallop, very tasty. We also tried the fried cuy , there's the option to order a quarter, half or full cuy. I'm glad I tried it, it tasted like a cross between chicken and pork. Lastly, we had the weekend special, seco de cordero, which is stewed lamb shank. It was falling of the bone and tasty, served with a hearty portion on white rice and white beans. I really appreciate that they have an "American" section on the menu for picky kids like mine who like to have chicken and fries no matter where they go. 4 out of 5 stars because although the servers were very friendly, service was lacking. We didn't get napkins or utensils until we asked and after getting the food. Food is made to order which is great but it all comes out at different times, it was fine for us because we were eating as a family, everyone trying each dish but it would not have worked well for a group each wanting their own meal. Shoutout to the owner who is cooking in the kitchen and also came out to check on all the tables. Overall it was a great meal and experience, you can feel the love and pride they have for their food. I would absolutely recommend and come back!

It's a small space with some street parking out front and even though it's small, it doesn't feel too cramped. The two of us ordered: - Shrimp and Mango Ceviche - Seared Scallops with Squid Ink Fettucine - Peruvian Style Shrimp Scampi with Rice - Peruvian Style Tuna Sashimi My favorites were definitely the squid ink fettucine with aji cream sauce and the shrimp and mango ceviche. After such flavorful small plates, the shrimp scampi was a bit forgettable. We also got drinks and the dulce de leche custard, which came with a little raspberry and blackberry. Service was efficient and friendly, and the food came out relatively quickly. Celeste is on the pricier side, but it's worth it for such a delicious and unique meal.

The service was great and the staff was really attentive. The food was pretty good as well - my favorite thing was the mix seafood ceviche. The seafood was really fresh and the flavors wee well balanced. Some of the foods were a little too rich for me - I was only able to take one or two bites of it before I started feeling really full. Overall, I would come back one day!

Good food, horrible service, nice atmosphere, high price food…read more The food is really good. No complaints. It's the service that's horrible. She forgot about my daughter's food, I ordered a kids meal and OJ, and then I changed it... and she said OJ cost way more...and then she forgot about my change - which she got mad it. Why am I paying 11% tip if I had to keep getting up to ask her for things? $12 tip? More like $5.... If that. Mandatory tip is bs.

We were a group of 6 people and were seated right away. They have an extensive menu for food and drinks. Everything is Japanese with some Peruvian flavours. For drinks half of us tried the fruit juices, made fresh. The other half opted for beer. The fruit juice was more like a smoothie. It was incredible and I would have definitely ordered more if I weren't full. It came in a strawberry and a pineapple flavour. I got the strawberry-ginger and it was very refreshing. For appetizers we got vegetable tempura, a shrimp wrapped in plantain tempura, and a chicken avocado tart of some sort. The veg tempura were meh but the rest of the appetizers were phenomenal. Especially the shrimp wrapped in plantain! For mains, some of us got seafood soba noodles, sushi and a fish dish. The food was pretty unique. The soba noodles did not look like soba, I think they used regular ramen noodles instead. However the sauce and seafood flavours were such a hit! Great find in Lawrence! Overall great experience. The service could be nicer. Will definitely be back for an after work dinner.
