I came here in 2017 when Tutti Pazzi was under a different name and ownership, and boy has it made a big difference in the quality. The restaurant was formerly a bit more upscale, and the quality of food far superior. It's Italian style food, but I would've guessed most of it was store bought-type quality. I got a seafood pasta and the pasta itself tasted cheap, the tomato sauce tasted like it was one from a can. Just lacking any flavor which was disappointing. The best part of the dish were the mussels. The restaurant itself has a nice setup, with a main floor and upstairs and a small bar. They had live music the night we went which was a nice touch. Service can be a bit slow and lacking and honestly it wouldn't be on my list to come back to when in Sanibel. read more

He played a great variety of songs and was amazing. Our food was good but not rememberable. The seafood pasta was disappointing, it seemed the noodles were not authentic and the sauce seemed like a "from the can" sauce. This is an unusual review because we never actually got to eat at Tutti Pazzi. As parents, we always loved Matzaluna on Sanibel. It was our go-to Italian spot for years. Since our last visit seven years ago, Matzaluna closed in 2021 after 27 years, and Tutti Pazzi opened in its place in 2022. We were excited to try it. We arrived on November 12 at 5:45pm after reading strong Yelp reviews. The parking lot was barely half full, but a crowd was stacked inside the door. Three or four employees were behind the hostess stand, yet nothing was happening. No greeting. No movement. No clarity about who was next. A couple ahead of us said, "It's always like this. But the food is really good." We had a party of seven, including two kids. We were walked to a booth that wouldn't fit us. We pointed to an open eight-top, and the host said he needed to ask his manager. That's when it clicked: they were holding multiple tables for reservations, and walk-ins were left to fend for scraps. After waiting about 20 minutes--with the dining room still less than half full--we decided to leave. As we walked out, I told two staff members we were heading elsewhere. No reaction. No apology. I'm honestly baffled how a restaurant can operate like this--especially in the off-season--when seating guests promptly should be the simplest part of the night. read more

Tutti Pazzi was 10/10. Our server was Logan and he was quick, attentive, and not pushy at all allowing us to take our time. My husband got the lasagna and I got the Fusilli alla Vodka. Both were absolutely delicious and filling. We also got the mozzarella triangles which were a good appetizer as well (it has 3 triangles so a bigger party might need multiple orders). My husband got a dirty martini - he is VERY picky about how his martinis are made and Tutti Pazzi has been the only restaurant to do them EXACTLY how he likes them lol. Our first time going to this restaurant. Our server Cassie was very nice and attentive. I ordered the eggplant parm and my boyfriend had the pappardelle with braised short rib. When the dishes were brought out we were offered parm cheese and accepted. The gentleman put such a small amt on the food and left. Didn't even ask if it was to our liking or if we'd like more. The eggplant dish was just ok, not much flavor. Maybe if it had more parm it would have been slightly better? My boyfriend enjoyed his meal. I was very excited to have the cannoli for dessert bc I love pistachios and the ends were encrusted with them. All I tasted was lemon and nothing else. It also didn't taste very fresh. It was a good meal, but not great. We decided the next time we visit Sanibel we'll do more cooking at the condo and less eating out. read more

Back a year later and this time tried the pasta primavera as wanted something light. Yes it's a pesto sauce but it' seems to be broth based pesto rather than all olive oil. This was very nice fish full of veggies and a nice corkscrew pasta. read more

35 minute wait for table if 5 and they got us in early. Server logan was super attentive. Specials, Pizza , and cocktails were all delicious. Our favorites were the calamari appetizer and carne pizza. Great option to switch up the traditional fried seafood fair on the island! read more

For sure, the best Italian food on the island! I think there is potential for this to be six star, but there are a few things this restaurant could doto excel. To begin with we loved the food that we ordered,including burrata con prosciutto, meatball sliders, meatballs and polenta, fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken, Rigatoni e salsiccia, linguine, scampi, pappardelle with braised beef short rib, and the lasagna. But a few notes to the chef... Everything could use a little sprinkling of something from the garden. For example, the fettuccine Alfredo was fettuccine, Alfredo sauce, chicken. No parsley, nothing! When I ordered the rigatoni e salsiccia I asked if they could add some vegetables in it. I was thinking artichokes, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes that were available in some of the other entrées, but the server said the only thing she could do would have been to add the vegetable of the day, which was sautéed mixed vegetables. It's not exactly what I was thinking. The dish was excellent! Lots of great spice, great rigatoni noodles, the salsiccia was excellent, but it just needed a little something more. In fact, when I brought home my leftovers, I added some onion, tomato, and sweet, red pepper and it elevated the dish very easily. Also, we ordered dirty martinis and espresso martinis. Both of the espresso martinis came in martini glasses that were only half full. No problem. Except for one of the glasses was cracked. I asked for a new glass. The server told me that she would have them make me a new one. Bit it was evident that they had poured the espresso martini into a new glass. The exact amount of liquid was present. Half a martini minus one sip. The problem with this is that sometimes when glasses crack there are glass fragments, and we were worried that there were some glass fragments in the transferred martini. I have worked in restaurants and bars before, I know that the standard MO would be to remake the martini. Shame on the bartender! The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. As an added bonus, there was live music being played in the bar on the first floor. The musician was fabulous! I hesitate to recommend this restaurant too highly because I don't want it to be hard to get into next time we are on island, but despite some slight shortcomings, it is pretty great! read more

I have been dining on Sanibel for over three decades and usually stick to my longtime favorites. Tonight, my daughter and I decided to try something new at Tutti Pazzi, and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, both hostess seemed annoyed and one looked me up and down before silently leading us to our table. The server appeared rushed throughout the meal. The bread was warm and soft. The artichoke appetizer lacked seasoning and could have benefited from more salt or prosciutto. The fettuccine Alfredo arrived lukewarm and was cold by the time we finished it. Our server never checked back, so we were unable to ask for it to be reheated. The bussers were the most polite and interactive of the staff. We will not be returning. read more

Tutti Pazzi means 'everyone crazy', but the food and atmosphere is NOT that of an asylum, lol. Gabby, our waitress, was intuitive, timed the parts of the meal with perfection, and my wife and I had a wonderful last dinner on the island before heading home the next morning. The building is off Periwinkle Way and up about 10' as many more shops and restaurants are now following Hurricane Ian and the 12-13' storm surge the island took. Steps or ramp is how to access. Inside the atmosphere is friendly, informal, with well spaced tables so whether it be a family with children or just 2, you feel like you have your own space. My wife splurged by ordering a Coca-Cola as Sanibel's tap water is a bad tasting as ever, and I killed the flavor with iced tea, lol. Gabby brought us 2 loaves of very warm bread with a little square bowl of olives covered in olive oil. Olives aren't our thing, but there is plenty of oil in the bowl and there are bottles of oil and balsamic vinegar on the table to personalize the bread board - nice touch. My wife had Ravioli al Formaggio for $21, a side 'Cesare' salad (I ordered one too), which were not tiny by any stretch of the imagination. The marinara was very good, the pasta perfectly cooked - too good to throw out, we took it back to the condo for....breakfast before leaving...I know, I know, but I like pizza and pasta for breakfast sometimes - the flavors marinate overnight....well....yum. I forgot to mention we ordered an appetizer - Stuffed mushrooms, or 'Funghi Stufati' - yes, stuffed fungus - with sausage and cheese and they were absolutley devoured....not a crumb left over, and I was so relieved they didn't try to put crab meat in the stuffing - Just Italian sausage and the usual suspects, and yum again. I ordered Chicken 'alla Parmigiana' which was delicious as well. 2 very thinly pounded chicken breasts, perfectly breaded, and I chose Penne in marinara as the side...I belonged to the 'clean plate club' it was so good.... For dessert we ordered what turned out to be the best chocolate 'Chocolate Mousse Cake' we have had in a long time - I mean since we were in France long time, some 10 years ago...the best....you just wanted every bite to stay on the tongue so you could savor the lightness of the chocolate.... We've had a condo once Sanibel for many many years. And this restaurant has now become one of our very favorites. We love the tush mushrooms for an appetizer and we've ordered mini versions of their pasta. The size of their portions is ample, the ambience is very friendly, and the service has always been prompt and accommodating. My wife and I shared the pizza and spaghetti. The pizza we ordered was wood fired pizza, beef, pepperoni with green peppers. Delicious, crust just right, crunchy. Great pizza!! Service was well organized and great. They stayed on top of things and were able to get us a table for 12 same day of calling to inquire. Food: calamari was good, and easy to share. Fried artichokes were simple and tasty, but didn't realize it was only 3 larger fried artichokes. Would be better if smaller and more of them...or...keep them as big but stuff with cheese and would really elevate this. The mussels were delicious also. Entrees: pork chop was really well done and cooked perfectly. Would prefer better sides to accompany it though. Frutti di mare was good as was the alfredo. For the red sauce on the ravioli--probably not fair to order red sauce when the table is filled w italians...was not my favorite sauce but there are not a lot of places that i'd say i love red sauce at either... Our bartender was friendly and very helpful with the menu. We loved the food; we started with a Caesar salad which was crunchy and tasty.
