    Acrylic nails

I went here on a whim because I wanted to see if this place was as good as the nail place down by the food court. It wasn't. I got a acrylic full set saturday 2/23, and already my nails have lifted! Granted I have small nail beds so the lady glued it extra for me, but they still lifted. When a tech at Modern Nails and Spa did my nails I got 2 months before any lift occurred, and she didn't glue the nail extra. I wasted $70 and now since I'm back at school i can't have them redo it or anything of the sorts.

NOPE! Never again. I just paid $45 for a mani/pedi for my 9yr old daughter. I have a job interview on Monday and really needed my nails done. We were at the mall already so I decided to splurge on this overpriced nail shop. I asked how much a kids mani/pedi costs and was told $12 for the manicure and $28 for the pedicure. These are regular prices in a lot of places so you can imagine how much my services were. Once thing that irks me is when places charge substantial amounts for kids but still act like they don't have to provide proper service to them. Every single customer in the salon was offered a tea or water except my daughter. Let that sink in....they don't offer anything to a CHILD because I guess the $40 they charge doesn't cover a drink. You know what else it doesn't cover? Alternating colors of polish on each toe(see photo). I'm not talking about two polishes on one toe. No, red on one then black on the next a so on. This costs an extra FIVE DOLLARS! I have been getting my own nails down for 25 years and take my daughter to have hers done regularly. She's always trying new colors and expressing her style. I have never had a nail shop charge me extra for using 2 colors. So, if you go here just remember that the $28+ pedicure only includes 1 color. Be careful, this place will nickel and dime you on everything. You know what they failed to do? Give me a $5 discount because I didn't get polish on my nails. I also did not appreciate being harassed for a tip while checking out. I was standing there ready to pay and the lady points to a sign about how they appreciate cash tips and says, "do you have cash for tips?" I said no. She's says "okay, do you want me to put it on the card". Then states that I need tips for 3 people and starts naming them and what services each provided. That's tacky! Do better. They must split tips at the end of the day because the sure was working for them. I will not be returning here.

Very disappointed in their work. I received a gel manicure and it lasted 4 days. It is all chipped and coming off. Will not be returning...

I've been coming to the salon for a few years now after getting my lashes done and nail salons, Walmart, and other lash shops. A friend recommended this place to me and I have not looked back! I tried all of the styles of lashes depending on my mood and I felt polished every time. Currently, I get the volume lashes but a few months ago I wanted to switch it up slightly and my lash tech, Morgan, did just that. She made my outer lashes longer, and gave me a variety of lengths. if you come here I already know you'll be back. The shop is modern, clean, and extremely welcoming. you won't regret it! Ps: This salon used to be called Eleven 11 Studios so it's been around for a minute, but under a different name.

I did not have the opportunity to experience the lash lift I had an appointment for. I booked the appointment 2+ weeks in advanced and 3 days before the appointment I was canceled on. The only options offered were earlier that day (lunch time while I'm working, and the next day when I would be out of town). When I asked to be rescheduled for the next week or weekend, I was told they were booked for the next 3 weeks and they could not find time to fit me in. I had two events I wanted the lift for - attending a wedding and my birthday(2 weeks apart). I scheduled the appointment 1 day before the wedding and could not have them done for that event - which was not ideal but fine. When trying to reschedule to at least have it done before my birthday I was told they were booked solid. Very poor experience

I do NOT like gel nails for health purposes and don't want UV light on my skin every month. But no matter what, the pedicurist wouldn't listen and after multiple firm no's they backed out but wasn't friendly anymore. The pedicures also were never relaxing despite upgrading to one of the fancier pedis. The service was performed very quickly without taking the time to let me relax. The polish is supposed to last at less two weeks but barely lasts a week. After giving them multiple chances, I'm tired of dealing with these antics and will splurge elsewhere

Had to wait 20 minutes, which was fine. They have a very large selection of nail polish colors. I scheduled for a full set and a pedicure. Pedicures are much higher than average for the area. The least expensive is around $36 and it's considered an "express" service. No cut down, roughly one minute of massage. Mostly taking polish off, which they charged me to take off gel even though I spent an extra $20 to put on gel. (I was never told, I found out at register). I was told I would get 10% off for being a first time customer. I wasn't told until the register that it is for ONE service. While I was getting my quick pedicure, I asked how much would it cost to do my nails EXACTLY like the person next to me. I was told $65-70 dollars. I repeated it back, she confirmed. I get to the register and the $65-70 turned into $85. I did not make any changes to what I asked for. I asked why the price changed and she breaks it down. I told her I asked her clearly how much it would be and she just kept repeating the new price. If I was told $85 and agreed to that price, I would have been happy. Baiting me into a service with the wrong cost and then forcing me to pay more once it is complete is unethical. I will not return since they change the prices as you go along

I went to Metropolitan Nail Bar for a dip polish removal and a new dip manicure. During the removal process, the technician left acetone on my nails for over an hour without checking on them, while working on other clients. My nails began to burn and became very painful. When she returned to remove the remaining polish, I told her it was hurting, but she didn't acknowledge or respond. She then aggressively filed the tops of my nails, to the point where they felt extremely thin, sensitive, and were burning. When applying the new color, there was a noticeable line between where the polish was and wasn't applied. I pointed this out, and she seemed visibly frustrated. Although she added more color, her tone and demeanor came across as annoyed and dismissive. For the next two days, my nails continued to burn, but I was too worried to use more acetone to fix anything, so I left them alone. Once my nails started to grow out, I went to my usual salon to have the dip removed. As I suspected, my nail beds had been filed down excessively. There is now a clear difference between the new growth and the previously filed areas, and my nails are now weak and breaking. Overall, this was a painful experience with lasting damage to my nails. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.
