Broccoli rabe with sausage and shrimp over penne. That's a strange combination, but actually it was really good.
Chrissy O.

Was suggested to go here by a friend. We were not happy years ago. But it's under new owners. A small little restaurant on cove plaza. Restaurant is warm ambiance with Italian decor. Our waiter Tony aka Kyle- was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. He spoke a little Italian with my husband. The food was very impressive. I forgot to take a photo of the homemade cannoli and the cappuccino, was icing on the cake. The chefs came to talked to us. Chef Tino came from Italy, he spoke to my husband in Italian which was sweet. Overall, we will go again. We love the staff's. Thank you

I've been here many times with my mom for dinner and lunch in the past. The food is always delicious and the waiters are really nice. Today we ordered shrimp and calamari with penne pasta. I highly recommend you check them out.

Tortellini with vodka sauce

A local gem! Amazing neighborhood Italian restaurant. My friend and her husband are regulars and took me here after golf. The menu is extensive with everything from amazing thin crust NY style pizzas to local fresh grilled swordfish. Last night we got the grilled calamari appetizer. It came with green salad with a delicate citrus dressing. Amazing so tender, not chewy at all. For dinner I got the local grilled swordfish, my husband got the vodka sauce tortellini, my friends the pappardelle bolognese and the truffle mushroom risotto. I tried everything and couldn't believe how fresh and delish it all was. The meals come with complementary garlic bread that was so good I just had to try it and OMG! This restaurant has a real mom a pop feel, quaint atmosphere with amazing customer service. I can't wait to go back!!

This restaurant is consistently great!! We have eaten here…read moreat least a dozen times and it's always a good meal! You can't go wrong with any of the dishes so delicious!!

Located in the out-of-the-way lost river area, La Forchetta is a cute little family-owned Italian…read morerestaurant serving made-from-scratch dishes. They state that for the past 16 years they have used fresh ingredients in all their dishes and you'll notice that fact in every dish. The Ambiance: This lovely little restaurant reminds me of the bistro's I enjoyed in Venice. Get there early as it's always packed and there's not that many tables. They also offer several tables for outside dining. The Service: La Forchetta lost a star here as the service was slow and perfunctory at best. Our server couldn't seem to get her act together and seemed to be flustered by anything out of the norm. If I was to guess, having owned a few restaurants myself, I'd guess she was new and overworked having more tables than she could handle. The Food: A good sign of the quality of your meal is the quality of the salad and bread. Although this time we skipped the salad, the bread, or more precisely the garlic rolls featured the perfect balance of garlic butter and were good enough to be a meal unto themselves. After gorging on the rolls, we decided to share the calamari which turned out to be oh so crispy, and unlike so many other overly chewy offerings, was mouth watering tender. For our entrees, we chose the Penne pasta which was made al dente and featured a wonderfully robust bolognese sauce. Our second entree was the lobster filled raviolis which featured an amply filled fresh lobster covered in a creamy pink sauce. For desert we shared the house specialty tiramisu which was good but not necessarily memorable. The Bottom Line: As with all my reviews my "customer so what" would I come back... the answer is yes, because the food was so good, we'd try it again and hopefully the service would be up to the food.

The last four or five 'highly recommended" Italian restaurants in the Jensen Beach/Stuart area we tried were OK to even pretty good but not at all memorable or begging another visit so we always went back to our favorite. Felt a little guilty coming here but WOW-we were blown away. We ate here twice before writing this review because I wanted to make sure our first visit wasn't a fluke. On the first visit my wife ordered Shrimp Linguine Fradiavolo which was a generous portion of shrimp over linguine with a wonderfully spicy marinara sauce. (She let me try it). I ordered Gnocchi Sorrentina which I customized to my preferences. Substituted marinara for meat sauce and added some charred Italian sausage. Probably the best gnocchi I've ever had. Portions of both dishes were large enough to take back to enjoy for lunch the next day. On our second visit, my wife had Spaghetti Al Pomodoro and I tried Veal Marsala. Both were north of wonderful! During both visits we also enjoyed fresh garlic bread. Uncle Guiseppe's is busy and noisy. Service is so good you don't notice the "busy" once you're seated. This was our best restaurant find this trip.

Let me start by saying, I have had hundreds of cauliflower pizzas, from many different restaurants. I can't seem to find anywhere that makes them right. I ordered the cauliflower Quatro fomaggi pizza... My husband picked the order up a few minutes past it's prime so we got it a bit cold. Despite the pizza literally being cold by the time it got to my house, it was NO JOKE the best cauliflower pizza I have had in my life. The flavors were spectacular, cheeses were savory and sweet, sauce was ridiculously flavorful and enjoyable. My husband got some lasagna and he enjoyed it thoroughly. We also got the gluten free chocolate mousse cake and it was decadent and sweet. We split it and it was so full of flavor, one slice was enough for us to share. My husband recounted that he's been struggling to eat meals recently and this meal literally brought back his enjoyment for food. We enjoyed the food a lot. I will most definitely be coming in for a sit down experience for the best cauliflower pizza I've ever had in my life. If it's that good cold, I can't imagine how good it is hot. It was so nice to enjoy some high quality food and to be able to stay gluten free

My husband was asked to dance by an older lady and he had a great time. Then my daughter was walking by the band and the guitar player community asked her if she wanted to sing and she just sang away with the band. It was a great experience. Definitely on our list of fav restaurants! Met Josephine; she is a lovely lady.

The Shrimp Scampi came out first, so we encouraged our friend to eat. About 10 minutes later, two pies came out and we were waiting on the third, which never arrived. Several requests were made and the response was that it was working. Well, after about 20-25 additional minutes the manager came over and apopogized. Apparently, the order was never placed. He ended up having it made anyway, and gave it to our frustrated diner to take free of charge. Very disappointing for all involved.
