Went in to rent a tux for my wedding. Myself and my wife were the only two in the store, the lady working watched us walk in and took 5+ minutes to come up and ask what brings us in. She points us in the direction of the rentals and I try on a couple. She is writing up the ticket for the details of the rental. The tux was a little loose and I ask if there are alterations at all as I'd previously rented from a place that did do slight alterations for a rental. After she says no, I said that I was going to keep shopping elsewhere and come back if I decided to rent from them. She then flips out on me saying "I already wrote the ticket, you agreed to rent here and can't back out now." I was taken aback at the customer service, told her that if she wants my business arguing with me isn't the way to do it. She then said that the owner will see that she took my measurements and I didn't rent so he will be upset. I walked out. This was one of the worst customer service interactions I can remember. Genuinely I'm not one to complain and even writing this review is not enjoyable. But, I wouldn't want another prospective customer to be treated this way so hopefully this will deter someone who is on the fence about coming here. There's better options at better prices, I ended up being extremely happy with my rental experience from Friar Tux! read more

I had a good experience renting a suit for my daughter's wedding. From the moment I walked into the store, I was greeted and helped immediately. I explained that the event was less than a week away and that I was looking for a blue suit--not a tuxedo. The owner, a true professional, measured me on the spot and quickly brought out a sharp-looking suit with matching pants. I tried it on, it fit beautifully, and within 20 minutes, I was out the door with a receipt and instructions to pick it up a day earlier than needed. Upon pick-up, he had matched the suit with a winner's tie! The price was very reasonable--significantly less than what I was quoted at Men's Wearhouse--and the return process took all of three minutes. I have over 12 suits and wear them a lot more than the average 30-something year old does currently. Out of my 12 suits, the one suit I don't have is a complete plaid suit. I went inside Tuxedo Junction, one day, and was blown away by the selection of items in the store. When you walk in, you see pairs of elegant shoes to your left and a selection of suits to your right. You walk deeper into the store, and you see a jungle of elegant clothing that'll make a man dapper and stylish. Their selection of suits is one of a kind. They're not what you would find in places, like Macy's, Men's Wearhouse, and so on. They have a variety of color and patterned suits that they carry. Again, I love plaid suits, but I am also a fan of different colored suits. You'll find suits in different colors, such as brown, teal, green, taupe, beige, burgundy, and so on. You'll find blazers with different patterns, such as paisley, pinstripe, and plaid. The owner of the store, Mr. Joseph, is a skilled suit tailor and understanding businessman. He has more than 20 years of operating the store and tailoring people into their suits. Frankly, that's very impressive as I bet that he's worked with clients from different areas of background. He has a keen observation, where he can help you know what your suit needs, to have a more fitted look. His prices are reasonable and affordable, compared to places like Nordstrom, Macy's, and Men's Wearhouse. His alterations are an investment to a more durable tailored fit for your suit. He's fixed two of my suits and has left me feeling cheerful and dapper. Overall, this is the place to go. As someone, who has worked for Macy's, you can't beat his prices and selection. Joseph will make your suit fitted to perfection. You will feel divine and empowered with your suited armor. I personally feel fine with the plaid suit I got from this fine establishment. When you get the suit, you will feel it baggy and loose, but Joseph will have it altered to completion. Have faith in his skills. My plaid suit, after being altered, is fitted to my slim body to make me feel and look like a Mexican-Italian prince. After getting my next paycheck, I'm coming after a red plaid suit to heighten my charm and power. So, I hope nobody buys it after I just announced what suit I'm going to buy next. I went in and Sylvia assisted me. It was my first time trying in a tuxedo and I wasn't familiar with any of the process but she was very welcoming and answered all my questions. She got my measurements and grabbed a suit and pants and shoes and they fit spot on. When I went to pick up Joseph helped me and test fit again with everything this time, undershirt, shoes and fitted the pants and cuff links. I felt good wearing the suit and seeing myself and Joseph was very helpful and accommodating when it came to return date as well. Even though this is a little further of a drive for me, I still use them as they always take great care of me and help me with last minute requests.
