Our first time here. Tyler gave us excellent service and recommendations. We had the potstickers as an appetizer, which was delicious. I had the wedge salad which was amazing. We split the steak trio, which was cooked to perfection. Then we did the chocolate cake with a raspberry sauce and the crème brûlée, both of which were lovely. Don't let the sign visible from Hwy 285 that simply says "EAT" deceive you into thinking this is a road kill diner. Twin Forks has some of the most sophisticated cuisine between C-470 and the mountain resorts. My meatloaf with mashed potatoes took a comfort food dish to a new level of sophistication. My wife's rib eye center with lump crab meat and bernaise sauce was a perfect balance of flavors. Deserts, sophisticated apps, a friendly staff and a full bar complete the picture. The restaurant is very pleasant, and the service was good. We ordered appetizers including firecracker shrimp, which was tasty but not so "firecracker", the coconut shrimp was better. Three of us ordered an entree that included scalloped potatoes. We all told the waitress that the potatoes tasted like fish, not a good taste. She apologized, and said she would tell the chef, but no alternate side dish was offered. Otherwise, the food was adequate, whitefish and beef medallions were small entrees, the pork chop was good. Hidden Treasure in Morrison CO. First, there was "Gold in them there hills." Now there is Twin Forks Resturant. We were greeted by Roger who made us feel like we were regulars. Chelsea our fantastic server made our visit perfect. Her suggestions of food and beverage were spot on. We started off with Brussel Frita - Fried Brussels, Bacon, Pepitas, Truffle Honey, and 4 Duck Wings in Sweet Thai Chile Sauce. I will start with the Brussel Frita. Seems like this is the dish de jour in a lot of establishments these days. I will say this is the BEST Brussel Frita dish I .have EVER had. You MUST TRY this. The Duck Wings we also outta this world. First, they were so meaty, and the Sweet Thai Chile Sauce was just that SWEET. I like spicy dishes but sometimes they are not spicy (tasty) they are hot (for heat's sake). The Duck Wings are a perfect combination of Sweet and Spice, yes, another MUST TRY. For my main plate, I selected the Mahi-mahi served on a bed of jasmine rice with 2 spears of asparagus with an awesome lobster butter sauce. It was delicious and perfectly plated. The atmosphere is what you make it. Thye have a large room that you can use and both indoor and outdoor seating. The dress is casual. We got there a 7 pm and stayed thru closing and were never rushed instead Chelsea continued to serve us and was always at tableside at the exact right time. Find yourself in or around Morrison for a show at RedRocks or a Drag Race at Bandimere or just going up into the mountains, be sure and stop at Twin Forks, you'll be glad you did. read more

We've lived in the area for 6 yrs and (due to Covid, and all) finally had the pleasure of dining at Twin Forks Tavern. It was a busy Sunday, Mother's Day, night. We were happy to see the place buzzing, that's always a good sign! There was plenty of staff on hand for service, and the food was moving at a good pace. The place is quaint and we enjoyed the fact that we could hear the orders being called out to the kitchen in an efficient and professional manner. Shades of Hell's Kitchen working on all cylinders. Special shout-out to our server, Hailey, who was very knowledgeable about the menu, pleasantly personable, and appropriately attentive. In addition to the standard menu selections, there were 4 or 5 entrée specials, a special cocktail, and multiple dessert specials. I went for the pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans, offered on the standard menu. It was very flavorful and nicely accompanied with, but not over-powered by, the raspberry-chipotle sauce. My wife had the Filet-Oscar nicely prepared rare, to order. It was delicious, however a little on the salty side for her taste (and blood pressure). Desserts were tempting, but we just couldn't manage another bite.... Maybe on Father's Day . Whether for a special night out, or just a pizza to go... we'll definitely be back. We had dinner at Twin Forks on Saturday night and had the most amazing dinner...and service! Andy was our server and she was the best. Extremely knowledgable about the menu, extremely friendly and didn't make us feel rushed AT ALL! When we had a question about their monthly special dinners, the chef, Shoshona, came out and spoke to us in person. We always apprciate the special care they take to treat us well and the food is absolutely delicious. It is our special place to go when we want amazing food and to be treated great! We've thought there were no great restaurants in the Conifer area but this place dispels that myth. The staff was welcoming and professional, the wine list was extensive, and the food was delicious! Boy oh boy what a treat! Driven past this place everyday for 4 years. Dug the signs always wanted to try it. Blew my socks off the staff was amazing super quick and super attentive. The food was killer , I had the steak flight trio and my partner the scallops. Also the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer delicious ! I was thoroughly impressed and would highly HIGHLY recommend it. Wouldnt you know it, due to traffic and road construction we arrived at Twin Forks Tavern an hour late! We had called several times to tell them we were late and they told us no problem. Upon arrival we were so happy to meet some of the nicest people to be found in any eating establishment anywhere! ALL of the staff was kind, attentive and working to get us fed and on our way quickly so that we can make it to the concert. The food and drink was FANTASTIC! To summarize; Fresh ingredients, food comes kitchen to table in less than a minute, attentive and friendly wait staff, rotating menu with creative apps and specials. This is by far the best place we have eaten in Denver and surroundings. They have the best tasting pork chops I have ever had the pleasure of eating. A little spicy, cooked to perfection. The food was good, the waitstaff was good. Andrew, the busser, helped our friend get her cane that had fallen under the table and was very nice. However, the owner, Roger, was arrogant and rude. We were meeting friends for dinner. When we arrived he asked the name of who we were meeting. Roger said of course he knew them and then tried to lead us to the wrong table. When we ordered, we asked to have separate checks and our waitress told us that was fine. Roger came with our bill and it was a single check. There was quite a difference in what we owed and what the other couple owed because we had two entrees and they split an appetizer and an entree. Roger argued that it was only a few dollars difference and that we should split the bill equally. It wasn't even close. Then he said we should have told the waitress when we ordred. We did. He then came back with the separate checks, took payment and told us it was time for us to leave. So rude! Although we have dined there before and we enjoyed the food tonight, we won't be back. It was annoying that there was an option to leave a 30% tip. If Roger treats customers like this, I hate think how he treats his staff. read more
