Came early before our reservation to have a drink at the bar. Our bartender,Thad, was extremely friendly and makes a great Dirty Martini. Our table was ready early and we had a beautiful window view. Favorite part of the evening was our fantastic waitress, Sheryl. She was top notch! Made our night! Prime rib was perfect. Will be back again!

The most flavorful food we've had in Estes Park by far! Being from Louisiana we've struggled with bland food at every restaurant until coming here. Extra perk is great views and atmosphere! Our waitress was great too, very knowledgeable and friendly!

A wonderful place for our anniversary dinner this weekend! We are always greeted with a smile when we walk in to Twin Owls Steakhouse. We got there a little before our reservation time and had a chance to sit at the bar for a pre dinner cocktail. Thad was behind the bar last night and was so welcoming and nice to talk to. I had the Paloma which was tart and refreshing. We were seated at a table by one of the big windows overlooking Estes Park. The views are always beautiful and sometimes you get lucky and get to see some wildlife. Our server was fabulous, I wish I could remember her name. She explained the menu, told us about the specials and wished us happy anniversary. We started with the smoked salmon crostini. Crisp crostini with lemon caper whipped cream cheese and smoked salmon, topped with fresh raspberries and micro greens. So delicious! For dinner we shared the 22oz porterhouse special. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We added the chimichurri sauce and had asparagus as the side. For dessert I had the carrot cake and my husband had the house made cheesecake cake, yummy. Twin Owls is one of our favorite places to eat while in town and they never disappoint.

This is our second time visiting Twin Owls during our Memorial Day vacation! And never a bad experience! We had the pleasure of having Colton take care of us and he's amazing: efficient and great suggestions. I had the prime rib and my husband had the bison ribeye! We'll see you all next year! Colton even offered to take our pics!!

View from our table. Not bad!

This place is stunning. I celebrated my birthday here and it was wonderful. The views were magical, the drinks were delish, the service was top notch, and the food was amazing. I had the filet mignon "twin sister style" (at least I think that was what it was called?). Cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Tip: make a reservation and request a table by the window-if you're lucky you'll get one!

This experience is amazing! We can't stop coming here! Literally the best steak house in Estes. Seasoned well, does not need salt and they always cook correctly. Wait staff is friendly and so very attentive. House made deserts are amazing as well! Very good wine list to fit anyone's budget. Restaurant is beautiful and the Mountain View's are amazing!

We celebrated my husband's birthday with a stunning panoramic view, warm live music, and excellent service. The elk kabobs, filet mignon, baked brie, crab salad, and cheesecake were standout dishes. Friendly staff, a dessert discount, and a surprise drink treat from a fellow guest made it feel like magic. So glad we chose Twin Owls--every detail made us feel special.

Food was fine and ambiance was fantastic. For the price, will try another tea in town next time.

My party of two made a reservation for 7:15 PM to see the sunset but realized that sunset was actually a few minutes before 7. So, we showed up around 6:30 PM to see if we could be seated earlier, and the host was very accommodating. We took a seat near the windows, and the outside view was spectacular. By the time we sat down, the mountains were already dark, and we missed the sunset, but it was very nice regardless. One of the reasons we wanted to dine at Twin Owls was to try elk meat. We started off with elk kabobs and French onion soup. The marinade on the elk kabobs was very good, and the meat was so juicy--much better than I had originally expected. The meat reminded me of Korean bird. The French onion soup was also very good; I really liked it because it was a little more watery compared to what I've had at other places. Then we ordered the elk sirloin and the Twin Owls burger with goat cheese. The burger was really good with the goat cheese, but I particularly liked the fingerling fries as a replacement for ordinary French fries. We ordered the elk steak medium-well, just in case it might have a weird odor, but the steak was marinated in a way that it had absolutely no odor, and the meat was very juicy and tender, despite having little visible fat content like beef. We also had two different locally crafted beers, which were great as well. Out of all the dining experiences I had in Denver and Estes Park, Twin Owls definitely topped the list, and I'd love to come back on my next trip to try their bison steak.

My Hogback Sour Cocktail was over the moon. Made from bourbon, lemon, simple syrup, egg white, and Cabernet float. The unique blend made a great drink. I wanted more, but held back because we were hiking later. My wife's traditional slightly dirty martini was perfectly made as well. We started with the homemade chips and dip. Nice crispy chips with beautiful fresh made onion dip. Next came the Pheasant soup. I wanted to lick the bowl clean, it was so yummy. The main course for me was the carnivore plate with elk, filet, sausage, and broccoli/shallots. The elk meat was the star on my plate. Having that next to the filet mignon allowed me to taste test them in real time. The Elk meat won hands down. Not even close in my opinion. The sausage was packed with wonderful flavors, but after a few bites overwhelmed my palette. My wife had the Creamy Potato Gnocchi Bowl. We both shared each other's dishes. She loved the Elk Meat. I really enjoyed the Gnocchi, and wished it could be a side dish to my Elk meat. Service was great with Elizabeth checking on us at the right times. Tip: Ask for the postcard and the restaurant will send it out for you after you fill it out. Tip: the restaurant fills up quickly, so call ahead and get a reservation.
