My fiancé and I came 11/6 on UFC night around 6pm. The first thing the waitress asked was if we were staying for the UFC game as we sat at the bar. I stated no we only came to eat. She then asked to start a tab 0.01. No problem and she took our drink order. She took my card for 10 minutes and came back with no drinks. Then 10 minutes later took our order still no drinks. Got the drinks and the food. Was decent. Not great as I only received a few fries. No big deal. I didn't complain. The waitress comes back around 7pm we asked for the check. She came back 10 minutes later and said your card is already on file so I'm going to charge it. I said okay thank you. She came back 10 minutes later with the check. Then she said is it fine? I said yes it's fine we can pay now. Then she went back to the computer and came back. Said your card isn't charging. I said well you said you already charged it and looked at my bank statements. Indeed she didn't charge my card so I went to give my card back to her and she snatched it out of my hand. So rudely that the person next to me said "what's her problem" then she came back and slammed my card and receipt down and walked away. The waitress was Tiffany. We will not be back. read more

Officially downgrading this place. I am a semi-regular here and the bartenders and management are hit and miss. I have been recently insulted by one of the bartenders here. She is REALLY surly, and generally just not a nice person. Very strange, she seems to have some bizarre influence over some that tend bar with her, as if she's the queen bee. It's all a bit Bush League. Regulars, beware, casual patrons won't even notice. I'm not going to name names, but let's just say that's her REGULAR MO, and I've been frequenting this place for a long time. Food is decent, wouldn't say amazing, but 7/10. Service is usually a miss. Today was an example of that. Slow. Took 6 min to ask what we wanted for drinks. Disappeared a few times and for as slow as they were expected more. Three of us ordered burgers they didn't ask how we wanted them cooked usually they do. So first of all, if you are a feminist this place will probably make you a bit uncomfortable. As someone passing through town I just found Twin Peaks on Yelp, checked that the menu looked alright, and recommended it to my husband for a quick bite. I somehow failed to realize that "Twin Peaks" is a euphemism for the physiques of the servers. (They all look like NFL cheerleaders! Think Colorado-styled Hooters.) I was the only woman customer there. Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed my Dirty Blonde beer, the fish tacos were great, and the service was top-notch. A great sports bar for the guys. read more

Awesome place to go if you want the waitress to steal your hat, while she was already a crap waitress to begin with, this of course just compounded the problem. No managers to be seen, waitress disappeared in the night and the spanish speaking cleaning staff had no clue where my sombrero was (deep personal and military value to me). Twin Peaks is definitely a good addition to the Flatiron Crossing area which has been in some serious need of a new hangout/happy hour/fun lunch spot. Twin Peaks is located in the old Red Lobster building by Best Buy. The interior is spacious and serves itself well for large gatherings as well as plenty of patio seating. All of the large screen TVs are easily seen from any of the interior seating areas and our waitress asked us if we wanted to change the channels for anything specific to watch. However, we weren't there to watch TV... we came for the other advertised "scenic views". While the ladies are dressed in plaid halter tops like some other similar restaurants in the area, they sport skimpy tan shorts instead of a kilt and wear boots - like the much dreaded Ugg variety. Fortunately, when you're sitting eye level, you can't see the boots :o) Twin Peaks caters to the Colorado outdoor theme with some animal heads, skis, and other backwoods paraphernalia on the walls and some kitschy antler chandeliers. For our first visit and only being open a week, our first visit was great. We had friendly service (which I wasn't doubting) and an attentive waitress who arrived at our table promptly, made menu/beverage suggestions, checked in on us often, and she was easy on the eyes. They offer two house brews - Naughty Brunette and Dirty Blonde - both of which are Tommyknocker brews, so they taste great too and are served up in an extremely frosty glass. Their menu doesn't have anything out of the ordinary, but what it does do are traditional burgers, sandwiches and entrees (including a gigantic chicken fried steak). I was pleased to find that my poblano chicken sandwich was not a dried hockey puck of a chicken breast but one that was cooked just right and plenty juicy - exactly what you want in a breast. The burgers are large and are plenty enough for two people to share - especially if you're chowing down on the fries. If you enjoy a 'Red Robin' style fry like I do - that's what you'll find here. PS: Happy Hour is apparently 2-7pm. Note to the skeptical - like any other scantily clad dining destinations in the Denver area, you know what you're going in for and you're there to have a good time with some friends. This place is a weird mash-up. It's like a Bass Pro shop married a frat house and they got together to rob a Best Buy. Flat screen TVs line every inch of the walls, between the TV's are displays of taxidermied wildlife and hairbands from the 80's and 90's blast from the speakers. The female servers were (as advertised), crazily under-dressed for winter....(and possibly even summer)I was worried about them getting a cold. As a result, the crowd steers toward the very young, under 24, and I would say, 98% male. It's a sausage fest in here.The female servers were nice though, they are friendly (super, super friendly) and provided pretty good service for the most part, but the food options are limited- think sports bar fare: burgers, sandwiches, assorted chicken options, fries. Prices were reasonable. Drinks were watery. Restaurant is spacious. This establishment is geared toward a very specific demographic (it's a concept restaurant, think Hooters and other similar breastaurants) so if you are looking for "scenic views" or, if you want to watch 23 games at the same time - this is the place for you. read more

I'm here for UFC 193 and the place was filled to capacity. They decided to overfill the place. They're making us share our table with other customers and they are making others do this as well. Went here last night with younger work folks. Hate it. TVs everywhere and too loud, competing with the blasting old rock tunes from the 80s and 90s. Lastly, the female children barely dressed - I think they are supposed to be waitresses - are inappropriate. Every drink and meal order was wrong. My friends and I visited here Saturday for the ufc fight. We got there and it was standing only so we had a round of beer while we waited. After a half hour they seated us and we ordered another round. The security guy Jay walked up and said they would not serve us and that we were to intoxicated. We had ONE beer and are all adults in our thirties to fifties. I asked the guy if it was because I had to talk loudly so my friends could hear me at the end of the table and he couldn't hear my question over their music as it was so loud. I would understand if there was yelling,staggering,and spilling of drinks. We were all calm, relaxed and enjoying our evening. I honestly feel a 2 1/2 star is about the right speed. I have been here a few times now and I really have to say I feel uncomfortable .Not only, is this place a strip-club parading as a bar but it really comes off to me in bad taste. I see these girls (Are they even old enough to serve alcohol?) all fit the same stereo-type mold: Extremely skinny ( not quite holocaust but they need to eat a hamburger) all have long hair, a ton of makeup on, and as empty minded as it gets. I get that this place is a "sports bar" manly-man type of bar. The animal antlers everywhere, all the hunters gear and various items all over the place for decoration blah blah blah. But you should at least know what you're doing/selling/offering at the place you work at . I came in and as I was being seated I asked to put the game on , now I made a mistake of not specifying which game, or hell even which genre. However The "host" ( I think she was) interrupted me in mid speech and started to tell me that the rockies game isn't on yet . She finally stopped talking and I told her I was interested in the White Sox game. She really got confused and looked at me like I was speaking Chinese. I told her I didn't know what channel it was on but if they could put on the White Sox game that would be great. She got very meak and started saying she didn't know if they had direct tv and didn't know what channel if any this game might be on. I said very plainly , I'm more than positive you have direct tv. "I really don't know" she says and just walked away. Wow that was amazing, not that we have to get argumentative but the PROPER thing to do would have a response along the lines of " You know, Im just not too sure about that, let me get my manager and find out what we can do for you ". But of course that didn't happen.. our server came right behind her and she took our orders, and she was fast, seemed to understand whats going on. I asked her if she could put the Sox game on, she said immediately without any problems she would get her manager and figure it out. About a min later , she said her manager was talking with a new girl right now but that he should be putting the channel on for us. Literally, I looked up and voila the White Sox game was on. That was not that difficult at all. The food here , is just so-so. Its your average run of the mill hamburger place. They don't have pages and pages of items to choose from , but they don't have very many selections as far as vegetarian options or small portions are concerned. I got the chicken strips.. They were very VERY thin and small. The fries that came in the basket were twice as big as the chicken. Very odd indeed, the honey-mustard sauce was wild to say the least. I don' t know if its like they used a dijon and added honey or what the deal was but its interesting. The fries were like semi-cold or something, I don't think they were sitting in the basket that long but who knows whats going on in the back of the kitchen. Our server was nice, courteous and did what she was suppose to do . I did however, look over and this guy was completely and I do mean COMPLETELY drunk slopping all over the place. He was using his phone and mumbling something along the lines of" I'm really sick Hey my boss knows I'm here" or something who knows what that drunk guy was trying to say. That was uncalled for and something that shouldn't be happening at 7:30 at night. I feel way more comfortable in a real strip club then this bar. The real strip club, the women have the power and the control in the situation. You get out of hand, there's security. There's a drunk and obscene morons, they're out the door in seconds flat . The men oogling over the naked woman on a stage - at least there are some who are going to lay down money to look at them. At this bar, you get to come in and stare at underage tits and ass all day and tip them just for the food service. I doubt these girls are making serious money here, at least from what I've seen the few times I have come in. read more
