Worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. My server was to busy flirting with a table that was not even hers to pay attention to her tables. It was just not my table she was neglecting. It was bad enough that after she took my initial drink order that another waitress came and took my food order and got me a refill. My food came warm almost cold and it was the waitress that took my food order. When I was about to leave my actual waitress brought me my final refill and my check. She said if I enjoyed her service to leave a review. I was wondering what service ? I always leave a tip no matter how bad. This server got 5%. I tried to have my ticket switched to the other waitress that was trying to cover for the lazy one but she said she couldn't do that. Next time I return to this Twin Peaks if I get the same lazy waitress I will just leave of they won't switch me to a different waitress's area. read more

Normally I wouldn't go to this type of restaurant, but I went with some neighbors and I was impressed. It's not that I'm conservative, I don't really like sports bars that much. I've been to Hooters before but their food sucks.... Not so at Twin Peaks. To me it's one of the best burgers and fries in town. The beer is very cold and they have a very large assortment of craft and draft beers. Did I mention cold? I've never had a bad server ( they've always been nice) or even mediocre food here. I would like to start by saying that the food here was fairly good. the fries we got were cold but still pretty good. though we asked for boneless wings and our whole table ended up with regular wings. the drinks were flat and it took about 15 minutes for anyone to even come ask what we wanted to drink. we waited another 45 minutes for our food. This place was amazing. Great beer served ice cold, amazing food, great atmosphere. The salsa was amazing and guac was really surprisingly some of the best I've ever had. All of our food was great too! Would love to come here. Stumbled on this place because I thought it was Twin Peaks themed, like the tv show, and the exterior vibe definitely fit the image. If you are in town DO NOT GO HERE.. They are a joke.. Even the manager has NO CLUE what he is doing.. I am sure there are a couple managers, but dude with the beard needs to go back to common sense training.. We did have a large group and I get that.. HOWEVER, if you couldn't accommodate our group "because you were too busy", you should have given us a longer wait time. I have worked in all parts of the food industry and I can promise this is coming from knowledge, not just some off the cuff review. We had 20 people (10 kids and 10 adults) So they naturally gave us 2 waitresses.. No problem at all.. That should actually make the night run smooth.. However, it did not.. Because poor Kayla was stuck with glitter girl who I am sure has never lifted a finger in her life for anything. Kayla had 14 of the people in our party and glitter girl had 6 of us.. SIX OF US... We ordered drinks.. we waited... 15 mins goes by.. we waited... 30 mins go buy.. Still no drinks.. Glitter girl finally comes back to tell one of our guests that they "ran out of sparkling stuff" for her drink, would she like something else.. She asks for ginger ale and off glitter girl went.. ( Mind you, the rest of us still had no drinks) but Kayla's 14 people had drinks and even on their second round of drinks.. So glitter girl comes back 15 mins later to tell our guest.. We are out of ginger ale too.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.. Also mind you, they didn't use Tito's per requested and glitter girl actually told someone else she forgot to ring our drinks in (Please use some common sense.. It isn't that hard to just do your job). At this point we are exhausted by this girl. Ohhhh... BTW our food starts to come out and most of us have no even gotten our drinks out yet.. So then drinks start to come... Please tell me what color a dirty martini is?? NOT BLOOD ORANGE.. So we would like to speak to management to see what is going on... (Insert huge eye roll here) The manager comes in hot, no customer service, no genuine caring that he is running the crappiest show ever, NOTHING.. He is automatically on the defense, shutting us down and making excuse after excuse. It was appalling and honestly dude, you are the WORST manager I have ever seen. To top it all off, there is HAIR IN MY FOOD.. The manger still gave zero F's about anything. Still being extremely defensive and just plain acting like a brat. Stomping around and having a temper tantrum... BUT let me tell you this.. Kayla handled everything with accuracy, grace, precision and she is the type of representative you want for you management staff. She addressed the problem, apologized and calmly defused what she could. I am sad she got caught in the middle of these other two yahoos.. But had she have taken the table herself, it would have gone flawlessly. We are an easy group to accommodate. We are very much giving and can work with just about anything... but this was to much and your poor display of customer service should be under serious review. Cane here because i was craving burgers and it got good reviews. I like the place it was nice and cozy with some live music. But when i recieved my burger it definitely was cooked well done when i asked for medium and the burger was definitely not seasoned. It definitely tasted bland. Well.. I know why it's called twin peaks- the waitresses are dressed in shorts with there "peaks" partially exposed, which isn't a problem just not very family friendly. The service was somewhat slow, although it was a busy night. My husbands and I ordered the spinach dip appetizer only to discover a small clump of hair and a few loose strands in the dip itself. We returned the dish to the waitress, who was very polite, and the manager offered free Queso as well as removed the dip from our tab. The hostess has a nasty attitude, which is a shame for being the first bit of customer service when you enter the building. This place is very cyclical. Some months they have a great staff, service with pretty girls that are nice to customers. Some months they have staff that looks like they were pulled straight from a meth lab and have the personality, service and attitude to match. The food is always prepared well and the place is clean. They don't ever answer the phone at this location either. read more

Wife an I went to the SC Museum in Columbia, SC and our lunch was a sandwich so we needed a bit more before the drive home so found Twin Peaks just a few blocks away on very busy Gervais Street. We could not see parking by this corner restaurant/bar so parked across the street in a grocery parking lot. The walk to the restaurant was not one to do with an aging adult. Fortunately we were lithe enough to dash to the narrow median and then to the sidewalk. There was plenty of parking BEHIND the restaurant so do that rather than be a moving target as we did. A very nice sports bar with some of the best TV coverage I have experienced in such places. There is even a small TV screen at your table. There were a lot of events being covered, so you can catch whatever sports event that is going on. It was an off time, around 3pm but it was LOUD. Menu is more than a bar menu so lots of fast-food-like items offered and the bar is very complete. Servers are in halter tops and short-shorts and Tiara the hostess, after seeing us sitting for awhile, came by to take our order. On the wall is a screen that gives a constant read-out on the beer temperature and that it is always kept below freezing. It ran from 27F to 30F throughout our visit. Remember this if it is summer and you are seeking solace from the southern 90F temperatures and 99% humidity. A fine oasis it is. Food was OK and it was clean, including the rest rooms. Prices were OK, but a bit high. Don't know about drinks as I was driving and was looking forward to meeting the State Troopers on the drive home. read more

Well...you wouldn't think it would be good for families but it was. The manager took great care of my party which included 4 children under 4. We were seated so the kids would be comfortable with accessibility to the restroom. That many toddlers demand immediate service and they didn't disappoint. Those were the fastest fries I have received outside of fast food restaurants. Let's not forget it IS a bar so the noise level is also conducive to toddlers lol. The food was good the staff friendly. OK, so you probably figured out I didn't come to Twin Peaks for their steak. Little disappointed in the mountains this trip but it must be just South Carolina. After getting here I wondered why they only got two stars. Then I realize it's because of the food and women. I had the mozzarella bites, which tasted like a cross between fried pickles and fish sticks. Honestly, it's deserving of no stars, but here we are. Service was the slowest it's ever been, food was the worst I've ever had from a twin peaks, as well as the drinks were awful. I ordered a spicy margarita, just to be told the wait on it was for the jalapeños from the kitchen. Just to be given a drink with no spice, nor jalapeños.. I ask for some, and an extra shot so I can mix my own drink, just to be told there's none in the building.... another server did pick up the slack, which we were grateful for, and tipped her cash but our server, the manager on duty, and the bartender just didn't care. For this to be a corporate chain, I'm very displeased with my service today. The one in Greenville would never have these issues, so maybe Columbia's staff & management needs to be taken into consideration. read more

So this is definitely a breastaraunt. Wasn't sure until we went there, but I counted exactly 1 female patron and the place was packed. From what I could tell, the food was actually pretty good. But the service is absolutely horrible. I'm sure that's part and parcel with this type of place, but this was especially bad. My order was messed up twice. Beers were ordered and never delivered. Got to be the trashiest place in Columbia, came here instead of another wing place because we are good things about the waitresses but it ended up being the worst part about the experience. She didn't know anything about what was on the menu. She rushed us the entire time even though the place was empty. She also took money out the $50 I put down to pay for my meal, after I had to ask her for my change back.
