Was there last night for first game of the world series. Arrived at 740 for 8:05 game start and was lucky to get seats at bar. 1. There are no NA beer options, which is very odd and a lost revenue opportunity for establishment. The bartender also thought NA meant light beer. 2. At 805 only one of the 25 TVs had the game on. Seriously. I had to go and tell the hostess that seemed oblivious to the fact that a WS game was on. Most of the bar missed the top of the first. And once they did get TVs on there was no sound. 3. We ordered nachos when we ordered drinks. After 40 minutes we asked about them and bartender said she would check. After an hour I checked slip in shot glass to see that food was never put in. Rather than apologize the 3 girls seemed more intent on blaming the "other" girl. The initial order taker was a short blond with a terrible attitude.When they finally came the nachos were terrible. Shredded cheese and cold brisket on top of a plate of chips. If you think a few pretty girls will maintain your business please see recent hooters bankruptcy. Only got a 2 for cleanliness. read more

Very disappointing. I've been going to various Twin Peaks restaurants across the country for years, and the experience was always fantastic. I was so happy when they opened one in my hometown of Jacksonville. The first few months, it was the same experience as other Twin Peaks locations. However, this location went downhill fast in terms of service. What really bothered me is that management didn't care at all. I understood that sometimes you get a new server who didn't get trained as well. Normally you tell the manager, he provides additional training, and problem solved. At this location, that's not the case. I contacted the restaurant several times. They even requested my contact info for the District Manager and General Manager to contact me, and they never did. I followed up several times with the restaurant and was ignored. I also contacted the restaurant chain on social media and was provided an email address. Nobody ever responded. I understand that people have bad days. I understand that sometimes employees don't get good training. What I can't understand is that management doesn't care enough about the customer to address their concerns. That's a real problem. My disappointment is directed at management rather than the servers. read more

When Twin Peaks opened in Jacksonville, we were very excited to go and try it out, since it was one of our favorite spots to grab some food, beer and watch a game while we were living in SoFlo. This is a great location. The food is always good. The service is great. The girls are super friendly. It doesn't matter when you go. It's always fun and good. Recently I was there on a Sunday evening. My server, Sydney, was great. Her service was perfect. She was super friendly and personable. I can see why she won a "Girl of the Month" award just last month. I would definitely ask to sit in her section again. A couple other girls that are always great when I come in there are Nay, Chasity, Izzi and Natalie. I came into the restaurant and there were 10 tables open. Waiting for reservations to show up. 30 minutes later there were five tables available. Still waiting for reservations to show up. After an hour and a half wait and be told I have an hour and 15 minutes there were two tables available, still waiting for reservations. Went outside to sit in the cold and watch a football game and there was nobody sitting outside. Horrible horrible terrible! The bartenders tonight were nasty to us black guys. She was slamming our drinks down and just gave us horrible attitude. Then we asked for another bartender and the other white bartender refused to serve us. But they treated the other white customers with respect and with good service. Well i wish i could be positive on the review, because i like to compliment good service and food. I came into this restaurant at 8:17, according to when the bartender finally recognized me sitting at her full bar. There were 4 girls running around frantically at the bar. She quickly asked me, "What I am drinking", without an intro. I answered, a tall Yuengling please. She poured the beer which was right in front of me and ran my card to start tab and that was it, until 8:35 when not one of the four girls tending the bar asked if i wanted any food or menu. I know how to flag a server. But could not get any of there attention. Not sure what to do next, I finally asked a passing waitress how to order here?, and she replied, just ask a bartender. One of the bartenders overheard me and said, "what do you want?". After bartending myself and waiting tables for over 15 years myself in my younger years, i was perplexed at her tone, which was of frustration or impatience. Not sure what i did wrong, because i didn't have any look or attitude, like most would in this situation. Well finally without seeing a menu i ordered the steak salad which i get in the afternoon here about once a week for the past 3 months. The food here is amazing and the afternoon staff is usually good, but the night crew 2 thumbs down. Unfortunately, very novice, inattentive and pretty rude to say it candidly. Management needs to work on this because the attitudes at the bar is not what someone is looking for on a Friday night after a full crazy week of grinding, ( the two gentlemen down the bar next to me just ironically walked out for the same reason). This does not reflect what the restaurant advertises, with the smiling happy faces who seem to give great service. Won't be back here in the evening. I own a large business in the service arena, and I have been telling alot of my clientele about the great food, but no more referrals from me until they hire better, more personable bartenders. Getting food to go and scrapping the second beer while i wait 45 minutes for my salad! Too bad!!! So much potential. Thanks for the rotten end to a hectic week sisters at Twin Peeks. Today was my 4th visit to this location, stayed 3 times, walked out once before being served due to no service. All visits have been not good and service is horrible. Today I sit down and it took 10 minutes to be acknowledged and to get a beer. Within 15 minutes I was asked to cash out because of shift change. I asked if my one beer could be transferred and was given an attitude. I was unable to get a second beer and was not even acknowledged that my glass was empty. At some point my glass was taken by the bar back and he did not even ask if I wanted another or tell a bartender. I later said something to a manager and he just laughed and walked away. I just left since they had my card on file. Perhaps Twin Peaks should close and start all over with bartenders that know what they are doing rather than trying to be models.
