House had a lot of small issues and I was really impressed by his thorough inspection as well as his willingness to spend the time to run me through all of it. And the kicker... was that then my wife showed up and he, without any frustration whatsoever, went through all the same stuff again!. Good dude. I hired Twin Termite to replace some rotted deck posts and beams. They did a shockingly terrible job on their first attempt. Some joists were missing hangers, some hangers used non structural screws, beams were cut short, posts that they installed were leaning, the list goes on. The pictures are *after* their first attempt, they aren't the before pictures. So that gives you an idea of how bad of a job they did. When I pointed out all the mistakes and how disappointed I was, they tried to fix half the mistakes and they literally squirted caulk into the gaps of the cut-short beams and tried to cover up their work by throwing on non structural covers to hide their mistakes. Their answer to doing a shoddy job the first time was to come back out and try to cover up their mistakes. Infuriating. I now have to go fix their mistakes myself. They actually created more work for me. I'd hired them before and they didn't always get the job done right the first time but they usually got it don't satisfactorily. I hate posting five star reviews because false reviews are ALWAYS five star :) but in this case I will make an exception and hope people will know it's legit. Patrick Murphy came and inspected a house my daughter and son-in-law were planning on buying. He performed the most though inspection that have ever experienced. I am used to inspectors missing a lot of things, so it's become a habit for me to show up at the inspection and (to the annoyance of the inspector) point out "what about this, what about this...". Most times there are additional things that were missed and needed to be added to the reports. In this case there was nothing I could find that he missed. Patrick also pointed out a number of things that might cost them down the road if they didn't fix them soon. My son-in-law and daughter REALLY appreciated this additional advise. Additionally, Twin Termite provided the inspection report through a very slick web page that could be printed and/or access later. I would highly recommend Twin Termite & Pest Control for home inspections. read more

Professional, friendly and on time. Can't ask for more! And they came out at a moments notice, which was great.

I hate to write negative reviews in such difficult times. In this case I feel overwhelmingly that I have to warn others regarding the practices of this business. Following much difficulty communicating with them during the course of the work being done, they ended up installing something other than what was discussed and listed in our invoice. We have been attempting to discuss this with them, only to be met with dishonesty and unprofessional behavior. If you do choose to work with them, I would caution you to be very careful to get specifics in writing and confirm that conversations you have with representatives make their way in to the final product. I'm updating this review to include that the door they installed is leaking to the point of streams of water coming down the inside of the door. read more

Short Review: I couldn't recommend this company any higher! Prompt, professional, experienced, courteous and knowledgeable. Longer Review: A man named Chase came to our home and provided an excellent inspection. He found things that we had not noticed and he was happy to educate us on the process that he was performing. He has a wealth of knowledge that he is happy to share and a down to earth demeanor with years and years of experience. His boss may not like this review, because ALL of the other companies I called out as comparisons wanted to do a lot more work for a lot more money. I prefer to have a job done well, and especially done right the first time. I believe that happened here. Another man named Nick came out to perform the work, and he was amazing as well. He was on time and had everything ready to go without delay. He provided some great ideas on the cleanup I was doing in our kitchen walls from the termites and pointed out that I was doing some things...in perhaps not the best way. He really saved me a lot of time. I wish I had shot some videos of how meticulous he was in everything he did from the prep work to the drilling and cleanup all the way to the end and the precision and care he took in rolling up his hoses and packing his truck to leave. You can tell a great deal about someone by the way they treat their equipment. So, why are you still reading this review? Call these people and have them come fix your problems! read more

I had Chase Johnson out to my house in Auburn for a pest inspection. He arrived early (which was great for me) and he got started. His appearance and demeanor were both very professional. Naturally, I had questions and so I was very pleased that he was willing to answer all of them while providing solid professional advice...and not once did he make me feel like I was the pest. :) Interestingly, when he was in the garage, there was an old inspection notice with his name on it. He had actually inspected my house several years ago for the previous owner! Small world. And I should add, his report was completed the next day.
