I went out for a morning run when I was visiting paso as I love exploring places early in the morning on foot to get a sense of the area and plan where I want my day to take me. I often pass great looking restaurants, and places of interest. On this trip, I found Twisted and glazed and had to immediately stop to check out the offerings. I was greeted by the owner who shared with me his wife makes many of the fruit flavors from scratch, using the juice of fruits to make the icing. I was immediately sold. I had a hard time deciding what to order but narrowed it down to 3 flavors, strawberry icing, key lime pie icing and fruity pebbles topped donut. The two fruit icing donuts were probably the best I've ever tasted and I make a point to try donuts wherever I find specialty and unique flavors/creations. The shop also offered a lovely patio to enjoy the treats onsite so it's the perfect spot to visit if you're on the go or want to sit and linger a while. As I was walking out, I stopped to chat with a couple who was sitting outside; they had purchased a dozen and were tasting their way through the selection; not gonna lie, I was a little jealous of their experience; they had the right idea. So be like them, stop and enjoy some of the delicious offerings.
These donuts are made with love and care. Always fresh each and every day. The maple bacon bars are only a weekend thing and either get there early or call early to have them make one (or several) to put aside. The icing and the bacon made fresh that morning and tastes like right out of the oven. Bear claw (peach delish), strawberry animal cookie, blackberry and key lime pie. All icings are made fresh and with fresh fruit. Best donuts ever! I live over 30 minutes away and will make an extra trip just for these delightful goodies!
We walked over from the hotel @ 6:30am because I had Twisted in my bookmarks for months. We were warmly greeted by a man behind the counter. I ordered 4 deluxe donuts, a pressed juice, and a breakfast burrito. The pressed juice was very flavorful. I ate one donut at the hotel and it was the right amount of sweetness. The breakfast burrito was a disappointment because it had been pre-made and kept in a warmer. It lacked flavor and freshness. I saved the other donuts for the next day and they had already started to get stale and dry by then. I'll return to Twisted, but I'll eat my donuts the day of and skip the other breakfast items.

I ventured in as I saw on yelp that that they an acai bowl that I wanted to try, but goodness gracious when I stepped in the door I couldn't help but to see the BEAUTIFUL donuts that this establishment had to offer! When speaking to the owner and staff member, all of the glazes and frostings are made with fresh juice, juiced right there in the shop! Man on man can I tell you that you can taste the difference. Back to the acai bowl, I had the beauty bowl and this was FABULOUS! The acai is made fresh, it isn't scooped out of an ice cream tub! The toppings were all super fresh and it was just overall delightful! If you are in Paso, this is a MUST stop!

Got the variety- one of each : Blood orange, strawberry lemonade, blackberry, blueberry, key lime, a few old fashion, twisted rounds, a fruity pebbles and chocolate with sprinkles. We cut these up so we can share. These tasty morsels were..tasty! All were great but my faves were blueberry and key lime. The wife -strawberry lemonade and blackberry. The kids- fruity pebbles. The grandson loved the old fashioned. Can't wait to go back to Paso for this local treat.

Came across this donut shop on Yelp when looking for a snack - the pictures really reeled me in. Unfortunately we stopped by late afternoon around 2pm and they were out of the creme brûlée donuts and a handful of others so we only got 4 (original glazed, carrot cake, granola, and pretzel chocolate). They looked great, flavor was there, however.. they were not fresh at all. Had to microwave them all to get them less stale. Nothing too special in my opinion. I expect donut shops to have fresh donuts throughout the day so this experience was such a bummer.
Great service, they gifted me and my friend some donut holes for our littles. I got the breakfast burrito, ham and cheese croissant sandwich and a lemon lavender donut. Everything was delicious and made fresh, I'll likely come back tomorrow to try the other donut flavors. The place is very quaint, relatively small inside (2 tables with a 2 seater bar) with some outdoor seating.
The wife was in the mood for donuts the last time we were in Paso. But not just any donut. She wanted an artisan donut. So when I Google'd artisan donut, Twisted and Glazed was what came up. The place is about 5 minutes from downtown Paso. They had a good selection of donuts with pretty creative flavors. The woman that helped us was the owner I think. Family owned, wonderful service. I tried the lavender lemon donut and it was SO good. A little on the sweet side, but such a wonderful treat. I also had a chai tea latte and that was also very delicious. So many donuts options. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in town. read more

Amazing flavor options. The donut we had was incredible. The owner was there and seemed very proud of his shop. They also had great savory options- the breakfast burritos and croissants all looked amazing. The cashier was super friendly. I would definitely go again. read more

Very welcoming on the phone when I suggested they list their specialty donuts on Uber Eats so I can view their selection. They threw one in with my order, complimentary! Was craving a donut so badly, definitely made my day. read more

Okay, look. Everyone who knows me knows I hate doughnuts. I know..I know. But it's true. At least I thought it was. Then my boyfriend brought home Twisted and Glazed and I realized I'd just never had a good doughnut. Oh my god...I'm not going to even tell you my favorite here because you all will run get them and my weekend trip will be ruined. They're all good. Find your own favorite. And don't forget to get a chai tea. Maybe the best I've had. read more

The donuts at Twisted and Glazed were pretty solid and good. My wife and I walked from our VRBO just up the street to grab some doughnuts for breakfast before heading out for our wine tasting. We were greeted right away when we walk in. Right when you open the door you can smell all the freshly baked doughnuts. We get six different specialty donuts to share among 8 of us. Dirt N Worm Coconut Joy Mint Chocolate Lemonade Boysenberry Rainbow Vanilla I actually enjoyed sampling all of it. I like how their donuts weren't to sweet. Just the right amount of sweetness to them. It's good know the next time we're in Paso Robles were to come grab some doughnuts. Happened to walk by this very hip little donut house, I say house because they are more than just those delicious little round doughnuts of goodness, oh no. First, I spied a old fashioned chocolate, with butterscotch chips, m&ms and chocolate glazed, it was just fabulous. The cake itself was very moist and airy and the combination of toppings was excellent, sweet crunchy chocolate and butterscotch a winning combo. What's that on the next shelf in the back... over in the corner yes, one of those too please, smoked bacon and maple glazed ~ pure bacon maple nirvana on a regular doughnut simply purely omg delicious the smoked bacon chunks abound, the maple glaze rich and velvety, the doughnut light airy and fried to near perfection, another excellent choice A beautiful assortment of pastries and beyond craft bakery goods, freshly brewed coffees and teas. Along with a good variety of fresh baked yumminess. Kind and friendly staff, was welcomed as I walked in by the young lady working the early evening of my recent visit. Super cute concept and the flavors were really interesting. It was just my daughter and I on a Sunday morning after the Wine Fest debauchery the day before. Need I say more? Between the two of us, we ordered 6 donuts! ha! Maple Bacon - this was our favorite Lemon Cheesecake - didn't like the lemon curd at all Blackberry Cheesecake - pretty tasty but more berry maybe? Banana Pudding - this was good German Chocolate Cake - wasn't a fan Cinnamon Roll - total disappointment Overall I think this is a place everyone should try once just because the concept is cool, but for me, nothing was outstanding enough to indulge regularly. Everything was to sweet for my tastebuds. But I can see kids LOVING it here. The Maple Bacon was decent but I found myself just picking the bacon off and eating that. We cut each donuts into 4ths and left quite a lot untouched. Donut get it twisted, get it glazed -- On our way to Ventura and made a quick pit stop in Paso Robles for some sweet treats. This cute little donut shop, Twisted and Glazed is open 24/7 - perfect if you're wanting a late night dessert. SO many unique donuts to choose from, all reasonably priced. I'm used to paying to $3-4 per speciality donut but I was able to steal a 1/2 dozen for $11! Told the girls I was new to town just moved here I hear good things. Well, one gal was nice (owners daughter I believe) and the other girl was so rude showing frustration which I could look past so I still tipped her even though she needs some serious customer service skills. Now to the burrito. Totally caught me off guard because it says red potatoes. She claims it's seasoning I claim false advertisement. I wanted it like the picture on the left. Oh and there's NOTHING homemade about their salsa lol I gave the order back and asked for a refund and she said I probably won't get it. Well, I'll never be back. If that's how you treat new customers you sure don't want them to come back I guess. And donuts were dense and dry. read more

Are dogs allowed on the patio outside?
We went at 7:30am on a Tuesday but the place was closed. The place has signs that said it was open, what's going on? The least they could do is put the correct hours on yelp & google. Disappointing.
I don't have a reason why this happened but there could have been an emergency and they unexpected had to close up shop for the day. This is a family run shop.
