Staying up the street and noticed the sign in the window that says 'open 24 hours', so of course my hubs went over to satisfy our midnight sweet tooth. They were in the middle of replenishing stock but he came back to the room with an orange donut that was pretty delicious. The next morning, we all walked over for a sugary weekend breakfast of donuts and were not disappointed. The selection! The cool flavors! The toppings didnt have to stand on their own, either-the actual donut is soft and delectable. They truly tasted as good as they looked. Our favorite by a skip and a jump was the Lavender Lemon. Super cute inside and I was SO impressed by the variety and creativity of the donuts. They had everything from candy bar flavors to pie flavors to emoji flavors (yes you read that right). I stopped by on my way to drive to the beach! The owner was extremely friendly. He shared with me that his wife makes the juices out of fruits for the glaze for their doughnuts. so the husband and wife team have made designed this shop to be so inviting and I'm really happy I popped in. The wife JUICES EVERYTHING HERSELF for the fresh icing they make. What a cute place! Old antique furniture with an eclectic flare. Went after dinner for a sweet treat. They have rolled ice cream, donuts in a decent variety of flavors, a small breakfast/sandwiches menu. I think they need to display their rolled ice cream options better. They don't exist on the posted menu but rather pictured on their machine which is easily looked passed since it's tucked behind the door you enter. Pictured was rolled ice cream taco-ed in the maple bar which I didn't notice until after I ordered. They have an extensive rolled ice cream menu but only had two flavors the day we came. Our ice was supposed to come with a donut hole skewer but was given to us in a bag instead. I'm kinda glad since we were able to save them for later but the presentation wasn't as spectacular. Twisted and Glazed is a very cute new doughnut shop in paso, which was much needed! They have a great style and the atmosphere is very trendy and cute. There is some seating indoors and out not a bunch though. They are pretty busy at all times to so it can be hard to find a seat. It's also hard to find parking but there is a dirt lot on the corner that everyone seems to park in and it works. They have some good doughnuts and some doughnuts I thought were just ok and wouldn't order again. The peanut butter nutter butter one for example was way too dry and didn't taste enough like peanut butter for me. I also tried the matcha green tea doughnut and wasn't impressed, the presentation was great but the taste wasn't right. Then they have their good doughnuts, the doughnut holes are great, I've tried their regular ones, the powdered sugar and devils food all were good. I also really enjoyed the apple and peach cobbler doughnuts those were great. My husband is also a fan of their maple bacon and I have to say this is one of the best I have had the bacon is perfectly crisp. The staff is always friendly, but they don't seem to know how to make coffee here, they also don't offer iced coffee which is a shame. The only thing I would like to see changed is maybe little signs in front of the doughnuts so I don't have to ask what each one is, it would make my time spent deciding on which doughnuts I want a lot less. read more

I was impressed with the service and quality of donuts. My wife wanted blue glazed donuts in a photo shoot for my son's 1 year birthday. We called a couple places and Twisted and Glazed jumped on the opportunity to help. We told them the time we would be picking them up and were set. My wife called the day before just to verify, but they had it in their system. We picked them up on a Sunday morning and they were ready to go. 12 Dozen Blue Glazed Donuts for less than $12, what a steal. Man, did my son love them. We tried going here several times during operating hours in 2022 but it seemed to always be closed. Once the lights were on and the door was unlocked but no one answered when we called out for service. Finally we were able to try them after months of trying and have been here at least 3 times. I wanted to write this review as more of a reminder to myself for the next time I consider coming here. This review is regarding my most recent visit on March 17th. It was my husband's birthday and he loves Bavarian cream and our regular donut shop does not have any such donuts so I knew to come here. I ordered one Bavarian cream stuffed donut with chocolate frosting and two glazed twists. The glazed twists are heavy and dense and the glaze is minimal. I much prefer a light fluffy twist. My husband said the chocolate Bavarian cream donut was okay. He didn't really like the chocolate and said the Bavarian cream was okay. I tasted it and the Bavarian cream was not what we were used to and had a very bad artificial aftertaste. Neither donuts were of high quality. I much prefer the donut shop by Albertsons. As I mentioned we had been here previously and I recalled not liking the twist before but forgot how much I disliked them. It reminded me of the same quality of the 24 hour donut shop where the price is much cheaper or of a donut from the grocery store bakery. read more

We passed by here in October 2020 and so happened it was closed already. Today we passed by didn't even look at the time but they were still there and the doors were open. Dairy-free raised donuts!! Hibiscus glazed was just the right balance of fruity without being too sweet. Lemon ginger had that burst of tartness that I look for in lemon desserts. Love this little donut shop! They are 24/7 and have beautiful donuts with unique flavors available. Hubby and I went two days in a row and ordered a half dozen donuts because we were craving. I found the ones with creams and jellies were so delicious, a few of the others were slightly dry and I felt the circus cookie flavor could've come through more on the donut.
