Very good doner kebab. I tried doner sandwich and meat and bread were amazing. Service was good. Price is little high for a doner sandwich but I think because bread and meat they use are high quality. Restroom was clean. Plenty of parking. There are inside and outside seating.

Yummy flatbread sandwich. Bread is thick and meat is well seasoned. Could use some jalapeños or pepperoncinis tho-maybe I'll bring my own next time. Nice casual option. Ample parking. Sandwiches do take a while to make so order ahead.

The menu is straightforward but done exceptionally well, whether you go for the classic beef/lamb doner, chicken plates, or their wraps, everything tastes clean and high‑quality. The sides (especially the rice and salads) are bright and well-prepared, not an afterthought like at many similar places. It has a fast food vibe with healthier options. Service is fast, friendly, and efficient. The restaurant is clean and comfortable for dine‑in, but they're also great for quick takeout.

I am so sad I have been craving Twisted Meats because it was so delicious last time and I drove here from Oxnard and I couldn't be more disappointed. The beef and lamb meat was not on the rotisserie and that should have been the first clue. The meat was so dry and not fresh. The portion was much smaller than the last time I was here and I understand times are tough for restaurants but if you're gonna charge the prices then it's disappointing. It was $32 for the doner box with fries and a side of hummus and pita. The hummus was dry and not smooth and creamy like the last time and the pita was so hot by the time they cooled off they were too hard to eat. They charge .49 to have the fries on the side and I wish they would have at least mentioned that. The gal who was working was sweeping the floor which I appreciate a clean restaurant but she didn't wash her hands before working the register and serving me my meal. We love to try to eat at locally owned restaurants but Oh well I guess my craving for Twisted Meats is no longer.

We got the doner plate & wrap both with chicken. The wrap was really small and both were pretty bland. Took around 5-10 minutes to come out. For like $45, i would say it wasn't worth.

This place is great! It is the closest thing to the doner wraps we had in Germany. I love the fact there is a restaurant where my meat loving friends can order two different types of meat and I can order my vegan meal. The rice is so flavorful and the veggies are very fresh. The portions are large. The staff is friendly, attention and informative. They have both high tables and booths. It is cozy inside but they also have a great outside patio. We will definitely be frequenting this spot!

The food was delish & offered great value for the price. The chicken was my fav , but I also tried the half & half option, which was awesome. It allowed me to experience the flavors of both beef and lamb doner. The team was friendly and helpful. Lars assisted us with any questions we had about the menu, and Eldor was kind too He even brought us a special doner bread to try, which was crispy, warm, and paired perfectly with hummus I recommend this place & will definitely be returning next time we visit Thousand Oaks. I stopped by after doing a quick search in the area for a top lunch spot. They were right off the 101 freeway going north, inside a plaza. There was a good size parking lot, but at lunch time it filled up. Inside is nice and clean, very modern cafe/bistro vibes. You order at the counter and the lady brought me my food when it was ready. There is inside seating but not a lot and there is no real place to wait for a to-go order inside. The menu is large and clear and plenty of offerings but it's not overwhelming. The cashier was super friendly and very helpful. It took about 8-12 minutes to get my food. Donor Sanwhich w/ Lamb and Beef - 4 Star - the bread was unique, almostlike a small loaf that was hallowed out so you just have a crisp shell. It was a great vehicle for the mounds of meat and veggie. I opted for no tomatoes and went with the spicy sauce. I definitely would get at least 1 more sauce to balance the meat out. Fries - 5 Star - I addded the fries and drink to make it combo. The size was kind of on the small side for a $7 bump but they were really good. Slightly battered and preseasoned with a great crunch. The garlic sauce is like a garlicky ranch and was also really good on the sandwich. My total was $29 and I definitely could have split with my wife, but it was my birthday so powered through and ate it all.

Having grown up eating Döner, it's tough to find a place in the US that meets that flavor profile. Twisted meats absolutely nails it. Get the lamb and beef with all of the veggies for the most authentic taste. Sauces are unique, the tzatziki is the closest we found to our hometown locale. The bread is perfection, and the fries are cooked well. The restaurant is efficient, clean, and the food outstanding. Go!

Well we came back, again! I really cannot stress enough how good the Doner is. The bread is wonderful and fresh, made daily with imported German flour. The shaved lamb on the sandwich is to die for. Load up the veggies and use original sauce. Look at the photo, that's "1" sandwich. Huge, my wife and I split. Also fresh kegs of imported German beer. Come on! What else could you ask for. Get here, yesterday!

I arrived a little early since she was limited on time, so I went ahead and ordered everything for us. I let our waitress know my friend was on a tight schedule, and she was so accommodating and made sure everything was timed perfectly so the food would come out once my friend arrived. I ordered the quinoa salad for my friend and the Greek salad for myself. We also shared the hummus and one ground beef kabob. Everything was very flavorful, fresh, and delicious. We really enjoyed everything we tried. The restaurant itself is extremely cute, bright, and inviting. When I first arrived, there was only one other person there, but by the time we were finished, every table except one was full--which definitely says something! The person who helped us was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. This definitely sounds like a place we'll be coming back to!

QUICK TAKE Get: Shish Kabob, Ground Beef Kabob, Creamy Cucumber Dip Skip: The salad dressing Know: Order a dip or sauce with your meal. Both of ours really needed one. Shish Kabob: Our favorite item. If you are choosing between the meats, this is the one I would recommend first. Ground Beef Kabob: Also very good and worth ordering. It came with a generous amount of basmati rice and a charbroiled tomato. Lava Special Salad with Shish Kabob: The salad had romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, avocado, raisins and walnuts. It was good, but the meat made the meal. Without the Shish Kabob, the salad would have felt underwhelming. Creamy Cucumber Dip: Basically essential. We were very happy we ordered it because neither entrée came with much moisture or sauce of its own. My only real complaint was the homemade salad dressing. The oil tasted old, which was noticeable enough to take away from an otherwise fresh salad. Overall, we really liked Lava Kitchen and would gladly return for the kabobs. The Shish Kabob is the move, and do yourself a favor by adding the cucumber dip.

I've found myself feeling disappointed with hospitality lately--it seems like genuine, friendly service has become harder to find--but that was absolutely not the case here. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. I had the taco salad, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best taco salad I've ever had. I also love the variety of food, all of the healthy options, and the fact that it's dog-friendly. Such a great experience all around. We will definitely be back!

My family and I came to Neighborly, it being recommended to me and close by in the area. I know…read morethat they're known for their array of options and a wide variety of food to choose from. I was nervous, though, going into this, because it reminded me of the nearby Topanga Social with a similar concept. After less than a year, the Topanga Social is closing due to one of the reasons being that a ghost kitchen doesn't cater, and therefore, have the expertise, to one certain food type or style. Unfortunately, that's exactly what this ended up being. When we entered, it was an untraditional restaurant experience as you go to a tablet/ screen area and choose from one of the six or so "restaurants" that they have to choose from. In theory, this is super cool! However, certain foods are good because a lot of the times, the people making them worked on perfecting that dish for you and others. Additionally, when you don't have a hostess and/ or server, there's an extra level of relationship building with the customer that you now don't get. People can manage, but it's the customer service that sometimes can make or break a business. This restaurant used to be Social Monk, until they decided to add the five or so other, now essentially, ghost kitchens that all operate under that same old Social Monk roof. Once we paid and finished ordering on the screen, we sat down and waited for our food. The seating area was a bit cramped inside, but expanded to outside which was nice. Inside, they had little tubs of candy around the store for purchase. There's also a fountain and a gelato store nearby, which is great for families looking to make more of their day. The positives? The area is nice. The literal neighbors, like the gelato place next door, are great! The speed in which we got our food was good, too, as well as the variety of options of food that they have available. My food came as a bigger portion size than what I was expecting, so I could hypothetically get maybe two meals out of it. The negatives? The prices aren't the prettiest, like mine coming at $18 (but keep in mind the portioning.) Additionally, when we got our food, it truly was not good. My chicken and chow mein came together on a big plate, however the chicken was cooollllddddd. The noodles were okay and warm, actually, although the chicken had been cold. Bland. Not great. My sister got chicken tenders and fries in which were also incredibly bland and not worth eating even half of. I brought my food back to the counter area where they had registers not in use and asked a worker if I could get a refund. They got a manager, who asked if I wanted them to heat it up, but at that point, I felt so defeated and annoyed, especially for almost $20 worth of food and the last thing I wanted was for it to be heated up in a microwave. Maybe this wasn't their day? Westlake doesn't have much variety, so having options like this is nice and I can see why so many people find them appealing - it's just not good food. A lot of the older people who look like they love eating saltines and rice cakes come here and it's easy to see why. Unfortunately, my sister and I did not like their food due to it being cold, bland, and unseasoned, and we most likely won't be coming back.

We didn't know exactly how the flow worked, whether you just pick everything you want, or if there was a menu to order off from certain styles, and looked at the guy who was taking my order for guidance. However, it's incredibly hard to order food from a restaurant you've never been to before when the people working do not speak English. I understand that not everyone may speak English, but there was no one in the restaurant that was able to answer, "How do I order?" All of the workers just kind of looked at each other and then laughed when I kept not being able to understand. The guy leading the order and at the front just kept saying, "Four," with four fingers up. I chose four things and paid, even though I honestly was confused the whole time. It was frustrating because typically, there's at least some sort of notice when traveling and so you know that there might be confusion, but not in Westlake Village. The price for the food was almost $20 a plate, with a normal size dinner portion, making it land a little bit more on the pricier end of things for poor service and a "fast-food esc." type of style restaurant. It feels like they want you in and out. They had some seating inside, but no one was there sitting down, and no one had come inside the entire time we were there.
