I did ask for them to be extra wet, and they definitely delivered on that. The wings were good overall--nothing amazing, but definitely not bad. The mozzarella stick was huge! I'm very particular as I love the crust. I usually eat the toppings on the crust...I know, what an I doing! I will say that the crunchiness throughout the pizza was great. I ate the whole thing. Love this Pizza!!! The Detroit pizza crust is a little crispy and yummy, cheesy, goodness with a slight heat on the end from the pepper flakes in the sauce. The HUGE Mozzarella stick is a show stopper. It helps to have a group to share it because it really is a monster of delishness. The service is outstanding. We originally came down to this place because of a video we saw on the interwebs but that specific item is only available on certain days. HOWEVER I'm glad because that made us try something different. The employee was super nice and gave us some recommendations. I'm honestly DISGUSTED and extremely disappointed with my experience here. I had already paid for my food and went to fill my drink when I noticed a COCKROACHS crawling on the soda fountain nozzles. This is beyond unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and sanitation of this place. If something that visible is happening in the customer area, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. I immediately lost my appetite and could not bring myself to eat the food I paid for. I was invited here for a family get-together. The space is very small. There are only about 5 or 6 tables total, so seating was a bit of a concern. We were a party of 7 and for a moment it looked like we'd have to sit outside in the heat. Thankfully, some other customers left while we were ordering, and we were able to grab the tables just in time. One quirky detail: we wanted tap water, and it turns out it comes from the tea dispenser, which wasn't immediately obvious. Not a big deal once you know, but it would've been helpful to have a small sign or heads-up from the staff. The food didn't take too long to come out, but it wasn't especially fast either. Overall, the food was just okay, not bad, but not something we'd be rushing back for. That said, I was really glad they offered vegan options, since I can't do a lot of cheese. I am so in heaven for the giant mozzarella stick and we'll go back there just to grab one. That's all I needed to make my life complete. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and my boyfriend was like what do you want to eat? I was like I want one thing and one thing only. The gentleman behind the counter goes I know what she wants don't even worry about it. He was 100% right. And my boyfriend decided to get the twisted meatballs which was honestly the best alternative I have seen to a meatball sub. The biggest pro with this is that you don't get an overwhelming amount of bread to get through to get to your meatballs. You can make the perfect bite with it because there's a thin layer of dough wrapped around like half of the meatball. What can I say about a giant cheese stick? It's fried, it's got that amazing crunch to the outside and all the cheesy goodness that my brain needed to be happy. I didn't get a chance to ask If they were thinking about doing a spicy version maybe in the future or if they had any hot sauce on hand to mix with the ranch. But that's just a personal preference of always wanting a little bit of a kick with my food. Honestly the cheese stick was just perfection the way it was. It wasn't too loud throughout the restaurant and they had a giant TV above the entrance so that you could watch the basketball game as it was going on. That was nice touch to have. The wings were the most meaty of any I've had. I had a sour dough pizza with pepperoni, sausage and black olives. EXCELLENT! The sausage has some very nice spice. The breading was crispy and seasoned well. It was kind of thick but not bready in any way. It was delicious but definitely big What I wouldn't order again is the 9th street pan pizza and the twisted meatballs because the pan pizza didn't have a ton of toppings. It was good that for the pan pizza version you can order a half order at a reasonable price but I think it just had too little toppings and the dough was not as good as the cone pizza. My husband is a Detroit native who moved to AZ in 2008. He knows Detroit style pizza and this place is the bomb! Squeaky cheese, quality cup pepperoni, and sour fluffy sourdough crust. The sauce is not sweet and has a nice tang to it as well. This pizza is a flavor explosion and even though we are from Phx, AZ, we will come here again before we leave Vegas, and over and over when we come back.
