Located right below and connected to the Infinity Hotel SF, Twisted St. Cafe is a little small business that is actually really freakin' good. I was grateful we had something like this attached to our hotel if we ever wanted to start the day with coffee or something small to eat. On our last day in SF, we started the morning with coffee. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel and prosciutto, goat cheese, & fig preserves toast. Both were SO delicious. I wish the breads were a tad bit softer, but either way, I enjoyed both of them. If you don't like the tangy taste of goat cheese, you might not like the toast. The coffee wasn't anything special, but the reason why there's five stars is because of the food! The price is decent, and I liked that we can order ahead to pick up downstairs. Parking is a little difficult on Lombard Street, so I recommend to park on the inner roads or walk around this area since there is so much to do! If you are staying at the Infinity Hotel like we did, it's just right downstairs and you can enjoy your breakfast on the porch or the top floor of the hotel with the view of the Golden Gate Bridge! read more

If you're looking for specialty coffee flavors you've come to the right spot! I tried an iced horchata latte and yummy it was sweet and spiced. You could really taste the cinnamon, even better its dairy free because it's made with rice milk. My friend tried the hazelnut cold brew which seemed to taste like blueberries but nonetheless delicious to drink. I found my drink to be a bit on the sweet side but I did order a latte. Twisted St. Cafe is a quaint little cafe near the marina area. They have a nice selection of breakfast/ snack items that are a great pick me up for the day. My order was their avocado toast which came with hummus underneath the avocado and everything bagel seasoning as well as chili lime seasoning. Personally, I would prefer it to be less lemony in flavor but nonetheless it was a tasty snack. The avocado was sliced and displayed very beautifully! I saw on their menu they have Molletes which they described as "an open faces sandwich with refried beans, chorizo, melted cheese, and pico de gallo". I only needed something light that day but I think I will have to go back to try the Molletes because it sounds delish! One of the reasons I also chose to try this cafe was for their outdoor seating. I wanted somewhere I could sit and enjoy my food. Twisted Cafe has such a nice outdoor seating set up where there are some tables by the sidewalk where you can enjoy the sun, but they also have seating under a shared patio (shared with a nextdoor hotel) if you need some shade. There was also a fire pit area to sit by, although I'm not aure if they light it up. Everything was super clean and there was a very chill atmosphere. Service was very nice and the food only took a couple of minutes to be ready. The waiting area is nice with cozy decor. Overall I think this is a great place to stop by for a quick breakfast or lunch, for both the food and the atmosphere! read more

The cutest cafe on Lombard street! I love that they have such a unique menu compared to your typically coffee shop, and they still have the classics (normal coffee, bagel and cream cheese, muffins). I've been here few times, and have been very happy with everything I've tried. I've tried the Molletes, horchata cold brew, Asiago bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon bagel, latte, and blue almond smoothie. This was my first time trying Molletes and how have I not tried this before?! So good! I typically call in my order and it's ready within 5-15 minutes. I discovered this place after taking my new puppy to Urban Pet Hospital since they were right next door. I needed to kill time waiting for puppy to come out. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a cute little space with pastries, smoothies, coffee and some items that stand out to me that I've grown addicted to: 1. Fig and Goat Cheese Toast, delicious you have the savory component taking it up a notch with the sweet cherry preserve. 2. The Avocado Toast, with a thin lather of hummus and chili flakes mmmm I love it. I love that the sourdough bread does not get soggy so you enjoy every inch of this toast. 3. Molletes, these were Mexican open-faced sandwich topped refried beans, chorizo, melted cheese, I've never had these before another favorite that kept me full having this is perfect to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 4. Açaí bowl I mean what can I say just refreshing to have for breakfast or afternoon cold snack. Had a raspberry matcha latte and banana smoothie too. Now I order on Postmates as well since I can't wait for my puppy to have another vet appointment. Yes. Just yes. As someone who works in the industry and also orders food consistently through delivery apps, I feel I have a pretty good grasp on what quality tastes like. Nowadays it can sometimes be difficult to find quality items especially when you're taking cost into consideration. That is not the case here. Everything was absolutely divine. I swear the banana bread with almond butter and cherry preserves is everything you'll hope it is and then some. The bread was unbelievably moist and not overly sweet. I love that they use cherry preserves instead of some other basic standard fruit. The almond butter was so smooth and creamy. Just do yourself a favor and order it. Also ordered the molletes and a latte. Fuego! Absolute fire. My latte arrived hot and the pistachio syrup I asked to be added was not excessive or overly sweet... just the perfect amount. Serious kudos to whoever made it. Honestly this is one of my new favorite spots and if delivery is this great I can't imagine how amazing it is fresh. Can't wait to try. Did you know there's a new cozy and cute little coffee spot in the heart of Lombard Street's US-101 corridor in the Marina? Opened about 2 weeks ago, they're serving SF's local Ritual Coffee (move over, Blue Bottle!) and a lot ​more food than ​standard coffee shop fare. Homemade tamales in a coffee spot?!? I LOVE homemade tamales​ and was I ECSTATIC to find out they served these here! #Happysurprises! The owners spent 14 years in Oaxaca, Mexico and they make delicious Oaxaca-style tamales! I got to try a pork and cheese tamale served with green salsa, which was filled with plenty of fresh shredded pork. This was made with banana leaves, similar to the Nicaraguan Nacatamales and Salvadoran tamales. I actually prefer banana leaves over the popular ones made with corn husk, since the banana leaves seem to preserve the moistness​ of the masa better. I simply nuked the tamale for a ​minute, and voila...a yummy Mexican lunch from a coffee shop, of all places!! They also serve avocado toast for just $5.50 (a steal!), but what I really want to try next are their Mexican molletes! There's also smoothies, bagels with various options (salmon, ham & cheese, turkey, etc.), croissants and yogurt parfaits. Once the social distancing ordinance​ (and this should be taken very seriously​ people!!) is lifted, TSC would be a pleasant place to sit down and enjoy a cup of joe with a simple breakfast or lunch. Also,​ plenty of outdoor seating, attached to a hotel. An extra star to them for thinking outside of the box by serving delicious tamales in a coffee spot, providing friendly customer service and​ staying open during these trying times. It's especially difficult​ for owners of small local businesses, like these, who just happened to open​ right before California's "Shelter in Place". Nice place to catch a quick breakfast before you hit the road to the airport. The cafe shares a public patio with a hotel next door. The staff was pretty friendly. An incredibly uncomfortable experience. Ordered a breakfast bagel and a mocha horchata latte. The bagel took 10 minutes, which was okay. Could've been worse. Had to wait another almost 10 minutes though for the latte. Bagel was getting cold in the meantime, and that was disappointing. Paid extra for oat milk in the latte but wasn't given any because apparently the horchata already has rice milk, but I wasn't told this by the cashier. So if I had not asked then they would've gotten away with charging me extra for oat milk without ever following through with adding it. It was just a weird experience. We passed by the Marina to enjoy brunch and wanted a good coffee, we are very picky drinkers. We were pleased by the coffee, the staff was nice and they have a great outdoor space. You can either seat in an outdoor, covered space or uncovered and enjoy the sun. The service was friendly and fast. First time that this happens to me but I really enjoyed that: the barista asked how we wanted our Macchiato. We enjoy it the "original way", with not too much milk. The place is tiny but has a lovely open patio area for sitting either in the shade or in the sun. The coffee shop itself was colorfully decorated, cozy and really cute. There are a couple of small tables to work on. I tried one of the popular items, a breakfast bagel, that was rich in textures and everything was done right. My favorite find this month. It's not in my neighborhood but it's close enough and I'm so happy about that. The staff is so nice. A a-lot of semi outdoor seating. Coffee is really good too, they serve Ritual coffee. My favorite thing is their smoke salmon avocado toast. It's so good, I went back to back days over the weekend.
