That experience was a nightmare as that shop did not communicate well, and when they did it was a series of false promises of when my truck would be ready that they did not deliver on. This time I decided to have the insurance company issue me the check and I would chose the shop. After a lot of research, I chose Spacetown Auto. I knew I had made the correct decision after my initial meeting with Christina. As a former employee in the insurance industry, she knew the ins and outs of what insurance companies try to do to minimize their bottom line. I actually learned a lot from Christina through the process of repairing my wife's car. Throughout the process, not only was Christina communitive, but she acted like an advocate on our behalf. For instance, there were parts the insurance company wanted to be repaired, but Christina insisted they be replaced with new parts. She even got my insurance company to refund part of my deductible due to them delaying the repair. No one ever wants to have to use an auto body shop, but if you find yourself in a situation in which you must have your auto repaired, Spacetown Auto is the place to go.

Looking at the tires, we found that one tire tread was down to the center wear bar. The add stated run-flat tires, but only 2 of the tires were run-flats. The add stated a 12 disk changer, but there was no changer in the car. He told me in an email that the tires were brand new, but 2 of the tires were 8 years old (tread looked good but he took the word of the previous owner, or just guessed.) When asked about it after I received the car and requested that he just pay for 2 new tires, he refused.
