This place is delicious and unique. The ambiance has a fun and festive vibe, perfect for pizza night with the fam! They have nice outdoor seating and it's not directly along Columbus Ave, which makes it more relaxing outside. I like The Buckminister, it has marinara sauce, with organic spinach, roasted garlic, parmigiano, provolone & mozzarella. I alos like the Gramdma Bess, it has tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, basil, Parmigiano, and mozzarella. They also have a big selection of only vegan pizzas.

Two Boots pizza restaurant at 70 West 71st Street has a great interior and wonderful pizzas! I was impressed with thier very colorful artwork and great signage. However, most importantly, the pizza I ordered was delicious. The crust was thin but delightfully crunchy and the seasoning on " Grandma's pizza " was very tasty. Obviously tgere are probably hundreds of pizza restaurants in New York City but there was something warm and welcoming about Two Boots that made me feel like I didn't want to eat and run! Even their bathroom was spacious and comfortable!

The pizza here is actually really good they have a great crust and fresh ingredients to make any pizza goers happy. They offer vegan, veggie and regular pizzas, service is great and they have sitting so you can enjoy and be it of the cold. So a good space for a good chat or quick bite. Definitely check them out and grab their happy hour deal too

OMG! They should be called home of the garlic knots! Everything was delicious we had a large half pepperoni and half pesto chicken garlic. Gluten free crust. Want to try their jalepeno garlic knots!! Great service, small dining but we managed with 6 of us.

Really good by the slice vegan pizza! When I was there they had 2 or 3 vegan options. I got the vegan cleo and it was pretty good. They also have more non-vegan options. The inside was decorated nicely and there were a few tables inside and a few outside for dine-in options. Also the service was great and the pizza took less than 2 minutes to come out.

Stopped here for lunch. Grabbed a grandma slice with crisp cup pepperoni and hot garlic knots. The garlic knots were fresh and had a spicey green sauce on top of them. Tasted very good. The pizza was also fresh and hot. The inside of the pizza shop looks nice by the way and the service was fast. I would definitely come back.

I go to their location on the Upper West Side. I really like Two Boots with their cornmeal crust and bottom. They have your plain and pepperoni slices but they also have a variety of other fun toppings. I almost always get the Cleopatra Jones which has crumbled sausage, red, and yellow peppers and onions. They also have vegan options. It has a New Orleans vibe to it with brightly painted pictures on the walls and ample seating. The service is always prompt and friendly. Great spot for a quick and budget friendly meal

A memorable slice of pizza in the Upper West Side. Perfect snack after a walk in Central Park. Food: - Grandma Bess pizza slice - Great. Sicilian style square pizza with thick crust that was flavorful and crisp. The toppings were well matched and great combination. - Garlic Knot - Great. A bread bun with garlic topping. The green relish on the top takes this up a notch in terms providing some spiciness and uniqueness. Service: Great. Walked up to the counter, placed order, self-seated at an open table. The food was warmed up again in the oven and got it in a couple minutes. Ambiance/Vibe: Great. Casual indoor seating, cozy warm from the oven fire, and tv playing a sports game to watch. Cost/Value: Great. 1 slice and garlic knot for $7 is a pretty filling snack and affordable price. Visit again? Definitely. Many combinations of pizza toppings to try, great flavor, and reasonable price.

This pizza is the real deal. It smells incredible in here. They have big selection of slices. The garlic notes and delicious too. Everything is pipping hot and so crunchy. Service is casual and prices are just right.

Must try for any pizza lover! Their unique combinations like "the buckminster" are a delicious departure from traditional pizza. The crust is crisp and well cooked. The garlic knots are delicious, the right balance of chewy and crunchy on the outside.

The crust was very thin, even for a NYC slice, and was alright, being a bit doughy at the top. I found the sauce too sweet for my liking, which almost reminded me of the rather terrible Little Italy chain. There was plenty of cheese, and it had a good pull, even if it looked a bit overcooked on top. I'm presuming the average ratings here and on other sites are because of their location and the fact that a lot of tourists who go here can't tell the difference between Joe's and a dollar slice. Perfectly decent slice on the level, if not worse than many slices in the city, as I disliked the sauce, while the rest was fine.

It happens to be an old cathedral which wowed my Son. When we arrived, we got seated immediately, which shocked me because it's always packed or has a line. Well maybe that's because the last time I attempted to go it was around holiday season and I couldn't get in lol. I ordered myself the spinach salad, which was massive OMG and could definitely be split amongst my party. And I also ordered for all of us to share a large pepperoni and pineapple pizza with their insanely delicious garlic rolls. I could eat the garlic rolls by itself. That's how good it is. They use fresh garlic, and not the powder which I appreciate. We all washed it down with ice water, and My Son had his Shirley Temple, and still had plenty to take back home. All in all we had a fantastic day and meal and I highly recommend and we look forward to coming back. Cheers.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. Also, the different textures of the arugula, creaminess of the cheese, and the perfect crust will make it a memorable selection. For dessert, we shared the Buttermilk Panna Cotta. RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
