This is a great place to stop for lunch, a snack, or an iced coffee or matcha latte on a hot day. It was also recommended to us by a local working at another shop in town. There is plenty of seating in the room next door, and it appears they may be expanding that room. In the main room, you walk up to the counter and order, then your food is brought out to you. We got sandwiches and bowls and the food was great. Fresh and healthy. I also got some kind of maple cream cold brew; I did have to ask for more maple flavor because I wanted my drink a bit sweeter, and the barista graciously added it without charging extra. They seemed to have interesting pastries and bagels, and the shop is also a market with fancy snacks and other provisions. I was tempted to take home a unique chocolate bar or jam, or something savory like a wacky bag of popcorn, but we were maxed out on snacks at our Airbnb, so I refrained. They had a wide selection of this kind of stuff. All in all, it was the perfect spot to grab lunch in the late afternoon while cruising around the Plaza on a hot day. This was probably one of my favorite places we visited while in Santa Fe. The cold brew was flavorful, strong, and not overly dark. Exactly how I like it! To eat, I ordered the Ham, Fig, and Brie sandwich, and it was delicious. It had just the right amount of meat, cheese, and fig spread, all held together by a crisp French baguette and grilled just enough to warm everything through and soften the cheese. The side of "mixed greens," however, was comically small (see photo). My wife ordered the Avocado Chicken Caesar with kale and cucumber. She said it was very tasty; with a great mix of ingredients and a dressing she really enjoyed. The only downside was that the chicken could have used a bit more flavor. The staff was friendly and efficient, getting our food out quickly despite being busy. We especially enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard/alleyway area, which had a nice atmosphere, though our table was unfortunately very sticky. read more

If you're debating coffee at the hotel or the less than 2 minute walk to here- stop. Put on your shoes and walk over, you won't regret it. In town for a work trip, and it's been delights all along the way. This cute (surprisingly big!) coffee shop and eatery is yet another moment of joy. Ordered the usual decaf flat white with heavy cream along with a cherry chocolate chip almond cookie (I had salads yesterday, yall, I owe myself a bakery treat!) and took a seat in the alley-at-turn-atrium. Tons of seating both inside and out here, coffee was quick and fresh and the cookie is just as good as the barista who recommended it said it would be. 5/5 stars, this place is legit! read more

Henry & the Fish is something truly special. The menu has so many great options to choose from, and you get to watch everything being prepared right in front of you -- clean, fresh, and organic. Absolutely delicious. I had to get the green matcha smoothie and the Maggie juice, and both were amazing. The retail section is equally impressive -- so many wonderful things to browse and take home. I looked up Brooklyn Delhi, which they carry, and immediately ordered some for home. The staff was fantastic and so easy to talk to, and the locals I met were warm, friendly, and happy to share their love of the place. I love to support local businesses. Unfortunately aside from the cuteness factor of this place, and the understanding of the staff when my dad knocked over a glass of water, it is hard to be supportive of this particular business. The tables were dirty, and it was crowded and loud. Some of this could be forgiven if the food was great, but unfortunately the food was just average at best. Think Jimmy John's with avocado on everything. The biggest problem, though is that it is far from ADA compliant. Both my parents use walkers and getting them into the restaurant was difficult. Once inside there is a big step down to get into the main dining area. A quaint eatery. I love this place. Customers have access to the outside tables situated under glass for protection from the weather. It's quiet & clean. Review for 10/11/25 around noon. So, the grandparents were in town and I decided to show them around the mountains and the plaza.
