My 21 year old daughter loves this place. Their variety is good, and she likes the uniqueness of the burritos

We both thought the food didn't taste like real Korean bbq, but did taste okay. We liked the vegetables and grains. The serving of the pork was VERY small, but tasted good. We got our food via a 3rd party, but my blame is on Corelife for not including the Rosemary Potatoes. To make matters worse, their prices in the app were $1.50 more expensive so we were out $5 instead of $3.5 in real life menu prices. Since we got delivery, couldn't speak to ambiance of it being good or bad.

That said, I ordered a sweet potato bowl; it came with both black beans and chickpeas - there were ZERO sweet potatoes, and about 5 black beans and 5 chickpeas for the entire bowl. Hardly any quinoa as well. Just all spinach & sauce. I do not mind paying for higher quality food but when you are served filler for premium prices, I take issue. The food TASTES good if they actually give it to you but the lack of the said offerings is a huge bummer & would keep me from ordering from here again as it it not inexpensive for the meal. Really disappointed. If it's more expensive and I get my money's worth - then ok! But I feel like I was robbed a bit on their offerings (per their own menu) & while the food is good, the value is about the worst I have experienced. Very let down by this place. Not pictured is a sweet potato bowl with zero sweet potatoes and almost no protein, which I paid $3+ extra for ....... This is not how a restaurant should do business. Really let down.

The chicken was old. It was dry and it tasted like dirty refrigerator. Server was pleasant enough and we wanted to make sure she knew we knew it wasn't her fault cuz some people are just jerks like that. We were turned off from the sandwich and didn't want it remade so we ordered some spinach dip. It came out so fast!! And it was. Seriously we both just cringed. The artichoke hearts weren't probably cleaned so the tough spiky bits were in the dip. But the worst part was the chips served with it. They were clearly reheated and the smell of dirty/rancid oil hit my nose before my tongue. We moved the dip around the plate to look like we ate some. Grabbed the check and ran!! Could we have talked to manager? Sure. But 2 meals out of 2 were bust we didn't want to deal with it. And given we'd sent our fist meal back we figured if a manager was interested in our experience they would have come out right away. There's so many great options in the area we don't need to go back. Hope your experience is better than ours!!

The staff was pretty nice and we saw at least two staff working really hard. Cons: -for $48/person the buffet was mediocre -the staff just stood around mostly and joked/talked. I'm fine with this as I was a server once but when it takes 20 min to get water after requesting and you see your server standing and joking for 10 min of those 20 min it's hard to think highly of them. However, I should explain that there were two staff members that we saw that were just flying around. There were a couple more that I saw moving quickly when I saw them so they could also be really fast workers. The problem was just contrast of half the staff not being that active in service was slow. We didn't even know what to do with the buffet and payment after being seated. Overall, I don't think I probably will return at least for a while until the staff gets trained better. I get the feeling it's just that they're young. I'm just surprised as at least when I was a server. I would've been told if you have time to lean you have time to clean or to start congregating.

I asked if they had a blue cheese dressing for the wedge salad, and the chef made up one special for me. Th focaccia bread was a great accompaniant to the dishes. Nice, quiet ambiance. Will be back.

Apparently The Cove has a reputation for having great cheesecake so we made a special stop just for that. A lot of the menu items looked enticing and the view along the water was quite pleasant so we ended up ordering some other desserts including the chocolate mousse cake along with some other food and drinks too. Two of us had the Boozy Root Beer Float, I had the Sunset Sangria with a burger and Caesar salad. Next time I would like to try the crab cakes. Our waitress was friendly and making jokes. We enjoyed the atmosphere and even seeing a couple of swans with their babies pass us by.

My husband is on oxygen and has a portable unit. We, of course, were seated at the furthest table possible from the front door. That's probably just Murphy's Law and possibly an area to improve training the reception staff. Dining area has no sound suppression and is one very long room. Extremely loud. I could not hear my date from across our 2-top table. Service was disappointing, but it may not have been her fault. It seems this establishment has no interest in accommodating, nor knowledge of, food allergies. There are no vegan options and no way to avoid dairy on/in most everything on the menu. Absolutely no starters are available without dairy (or cross contamination). We were told the crab cakes "have butter as a binder..." I'm not kidding. It's simple, mildly seasoned food, but it's almost all covered in butter for absolutely no reason I can honestly fathom. Once our food arrived, things went downhill quickly. My entire dish was cold (whitefish meal, no substitutions). His was piping hot (Sunset Shrimp, no subs but no dairy). We found our meals to have mediocre flavor, at best. I almost never do this when out, but had to add salt and pepper to all of my meal. The "champagne butter sauce" on my whitefish was a bland Alfredo-ish covering (no, not a drizzle or light coating) that I eventually scraped to the side. We were also very disappointed when informed at the end of the meal that our gift card - given to us and saved for this experience - was not valid on Mondays, because we're members of the Millennium Group club. IYKYK, but we've never had another MG restaurant do this to us. All in all, a total bust. Not a good environment for a couple, a disabled person, or someone with a food sensitivity. While we love MG restaurants, we'll stay clear of this one.
