Obsessed as usual. I always get a massage during too, it really relaxes me while I take off the gel.

My grandmother and I have been coming here for about 7 months now and it is genuinely the best place! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is so sweet. We love it here. They do an amazing french tip which is what my grandmother always gets! Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I stopped into Elegant Nails today because I needed last minute Coachella nails and it was close by, and I'm SO happy I found them! They took me quickly as a walk in around noon, I got an amazing gel manicure with some fun chrome designs and a really amazing pedicure. I came back to have it fixed, and they actually charged me for the repair, even though the manicure had barely lasted. I don't blame the technicians--they did a good job. The problem seems to be the old or poor-quality nail polish that doesn't last. The receptionist, Sasha, also ignored the technician I booked online and assigned me to someone else without any explanation. This has happened more than once. Her customer service is rude, and appointments don't seem to matter. On top of that, they charged me an extra $2 for using a credit card without telling me beforehand, and they don't even accept Apple Pay. It's not about the $2--it's about being transparent with customers. Between the poor-quality polish, charging for repairs after only a few days, the unprofessional front desk, and the hidden credit card fee, I won't be coming back or recommending this salon

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Celina suggested that we could try a luminary hard gel overlay on my natural nails for long-lasting strength (~1 month) and nail growth without the need for gel-x/tips. No other nail technician had ever mentioned this as an option, and I am so happy with how it turned out! As someone who always had extensions, I've never seen my natural nails look so good in my life! Not only do they look great, but they also feel so strong, and I don't have to worry about them breaking. Celina is super detail-oriented and it's obvious that she cares a lot about her work and clients. On top of everything else, the polish options at this salon are beautiful. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!! I genuinely wish I could give them 1 star!!!!!!! They are absolutely horrendous!!! The lady was so rude it was disgusting. Not only that it was my birthday and I was just there for the day. When I was done I paid cause I was in a rush then I was outside waiting on Uber and was like actually these loook so terrible I'm mad so I went back in and she said she'd fix them the next day I was just annoyed and they took so long I was late for dinner so I just left. I didn't have time the next day to go back so I called for a refund where they gave me the managers number who wouldn't answer my calls and then texted we don't offer refunds. The place is nasty and disgusting. Terrible service. And the next day one fell off and has hanging by a tiny peace of nail and bled!! read more

My daughter & I had different experiences. I got an excellent mani/pedi, with a full leg and foot massage, and while the hand massage was excellent, they did not massage my arm unlike Milan in WLA. My daughter's experience was more like a 2-star, and she didn't get a massage of any kind, and her manicurist paid cursory attention and little detail to her fingernails, nearly ignoring some fingers. My mani/pedi took nearly an hour and was worth it, and my daughter's took perhaps 40 minutes and made her wishing she had my manicurist.. Quite different experiences. Without appointments on a Tuesday afternoon, the salon held a few customers. We both opted for the massage chair ($28 ea). It's all metered street parking, with the SMPD eager to write parking tix. read more

Disappointed in my recent experience at this nail salon, as the manner in which they prioritized the seating of walk-ins felt inappropriate. A person who came in significantly later than me and also did not have an appointment ended up being taken care of before me. It's always difficult to know for sure, but I'm worried that unfortunately this was done due to my race, as I was the only non-white person waiting for service. I decided to give this nail salon only two stars because I was not pleased with the manicure and pedicure I received here. I'm used to having to get touch ups every two weeks or so, but it's only been a week and the nail polish has already chipped on some fingers and completely come off on others and the same thing with my toes. I don't know if its because they used cheap nail polish or didn't out enough coats or what. But I haven't been doing anything out of the ordinary for them to chip faster. Get a price up front, because they will charge different amounts for the same service on different visits (as much as a $40 swing). Carefully watch what they are doing. One woman cut me and caused me to bleed. When I brought it up, she nodded it off. They also have a tendency to paint over your cuticles which becomes an issue as your nails grow. The nail tech was friendly and attentive to my needs, there was no pushing for other services and she even gave me a really nice arm and hand massage.
