The entire place is set up like colonial America, and the attention to detail is incredible. All of the staff stay fully in character the entire time, and their costumes are beautifully made and very detailed. It really adds to the whole experience. The farm itself isn't your typical farm,it's more of a historical village with different stations set up to demonstrate things like candle making, crocheting from that time period, how the judicial system worked, and even the types of games people used to play. One of the highlights was the Revolutionary War reenactment at the end, where the kids actually got to participate as soldiers. It was such a cool experience and also really educational at the same time. I went as part of a school group, but you could definitely visit on your own and still have a great time. The food was good, but the baked goods were the real standout -- fresh breads, pies, cookies, homemade ice cream, shakes... everything tasted amazing. I also liked that you can order ahead online and just pick up when you get there. The staff were incredibly patient and kind with the kids, even when they got a little impatient, which I really appreciated. Overall, it felt like being transported back in time, and I would absolutely love to come back again.

Stopped in to try this place this week. Staff came walking out without masks on, no covid precautions anywhere, zero concern about the safety of their customers. Not being vaccinated yet, I was horrified to see this in food service. I left immediately, reported them and will never return. If you care about your health and safety, I would suggest avoiding this covid hot spot. ****UPDATE***** the business owner 'Meltem' decided to harass me and threaten me after calling them out for breaking the law and not wearing masks in the review above, even though every single other food service establishment is diligent about doing so and is required to do so! But because they are narcissistic and arrogant jerks, they think they are above the law and health and safety of the community and can attack anyone and get their way. Vaccinated or not (and literally no way of knowing if they are actually vaccinated or just lying, I assume they are lying) this business was breaking the law and blatantly violating health codes! BE WARNED! God knows what other health codes they are also violating. They probably don't wash her hands either after taking a crap. You can tell from their comment what nasty and disgusting people they really are and it shows in their shop too. It was a dump. They are proud to admit they break the law and risk the lives of everyone that comes into their shop. Photo attached of the nasty comment they sent me after thinking my review was "funny". This a great find in Cherry Valley. This place is owned by a husband and wife. The wife is a trained chef. She bakes the pastries herself, on site, and they are delicious They're moist, very flavorful, with just right amount of sweetness. My wife is a latte aficionado who has tried them all over the world. She tells me the latte here is the equal of the best she has had anywhere. I'm usually not a latte drinker, but this one really is excellent, and could make a convert out me. I haven't had one of heir paninis yet, but I will be trying their vegetarian panini very soon. They have a very large selection, and they all sound great. I highly recommend this place. I think you will be happy to find such a place in our local area. read more
