Two Man Movers helped us out of a Moving Bind. Due to a short notice Cancellation from another moving company, we were forced to find someone to help us in a pinch. Two Man Movers sent over Big T, Rasta, Jovany, & Angel. These men worked at a level that was nothing short of impressive. Not only were they professional, did a great job, but ended up doing it for around $400.00 less than what we were expecting to pay. I moved from Sandy to Riverton and the movers were good but the company policies were a joke! I had 4 guys for 3 1/2 hours and my move was supposed to be completed in that time. My move wasn't even close to done in the 3 1/2. I was thinking okay they will just keep working until it's done and it charges by the hour. WRONG! It charged like $129 every 15 minutes that they keep working! So I ended their time at the estimated 3 1/2 hours and I sent them away. Ended up moving the rest on our own! What a ripoff!!! read more

Tripp, Dillon and Fuji wrapped and packed everything with care, put everything back together, where we wanted and nothing damaged, broken or issues whatsoever,. Overall they did a good job. Scheduling was smooth and front desk staff was responsive. The guys that came did a nice job getting a lot of stuff out of my second story apartment in a home with very steep narrow stairs. I would have given a 5 star review but they did break one of my best furniture pieces, so that put a damper on the day. read more

We were so impressed with Two Man Movers. The movers were helpful, efficient, kind, considerate, and respectful. We were offered boxes, blankets - free. The movers worked quickly but made sure nothing was damaged along the way - like walls, furniture and boxes. The 2 large loads were put into storage that was climate controlled and insured at no extra cost. The storage price was reasonable. At this point, I would highly recommend this company. read more

We had to do two local moves because an apartment wasn't ready. The landlord rescheduled twice without notice. Both times, Two Man Movers did not charge to reschedule. On the last move, they said they only had time to move the larger things but in the end they moved everything. The space to move things in was tight but they did everything with no damage. I would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Where to begin, Two Man Movers is a moving service that just does enough to satisfy your needs. They do not care about the customer and I would not recommend them if you have many items that are of value to you. Please look elsewhere and I took my business elsewhere when I needed to move another time. I called Two Man Movers to move and while they did satisfy most of the move, I had belongings that were damaged during the process of transportation. For the most part, there were small damages to some items but there were items that were completely destroyed. The movers asked me to contact a manager and promptly did, but heard ABSOLUTELY nothing from him. That was the final straw, if you want to retain business don't IGNORE your paying customers. They did not want to refund the damages THEIR MOVERS caused. I can handle rude people but when you mess with peoples belongings and COMPLETELY IGNORE and NOT RESPOND, please use Two Man Movers. PROS: They are great for moving services if you can't find anyone else. CONS: They do not respond and refund for any damages. *Apparently, they did provide a refund to another reviewer below and like she said, please look elsewhere. There are other movers that treat your belongings with respect and care as if they were theirs. read more

Worst move EVER! We reserved only the largest pieces of furniture for movers. We had everything ready to go. We ended up with a broken adjustable bed, a hole in the wall of our brand new home and a fire table that was dropped. It has broken tile, the fire glass was spilled all over the patio (we were left to clean this up) and scratches all over the bottom. It took 4 hours to move what should have taken half that time. It has been 7 weeks of fighting to get things taken care of. Today- we received a check for $25. Can you say.. slap in the face?! I'm not one to leave a negative review. I think giving someone the chance to make things right is the best way to go. After 7 weeks with no resolution... I must say... LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR MOVERS. read more

This was the worst move I've ever had and I blame Two Man Movers. I was given an initial quote for packing and the price I had to pay was twice that. When it came time to deliver my goods they consistently blew the deadline that they set. This happened THREE TIMES. My goods were handled roughly. The great majority of my banker boxes, which I have used on multiple moves, were damaged and I won't be able to use them again. Their special "art packing" failed and I have a valuable print with broken glass. I recommend that you NEVER hire this company. read more

Never again. First Two Man did a bait and switch on me. Just four days before the move which I had to guarantee with a $500 deposit, Two Man prepared a second estimate. Not surprisingly the second estimate was more expensive than the first. I had to accept the higher estimate because it was too late to find another mover on short notice. Second, Two Man did a terrible job packing and loading of our furniture. Initially Two Man had a great story about how careful they would be with our furniture. In fact I was told one particular item, a grandfather clock, would be loaded last and would rest on top of the load so that nothing would damage it. Wrong. I found the clock sitting on the floor of the truck. When Two Man unloaded our furniture we found numerous items that were damaged. Two Man tried to hide the damage to one item by using shipping tape to reattach a broken piece. Another piece was so badly damaged it probably cannot be repaired. An LED TV that was just wrapped in a blanket now has a broken screen. Third, Two Man customer service is awful. No one contacted me to ask about the damage or to thank me for my business. I had to contact Two Man to find out who to contact about the damage. When I reached out to the owner of Two Man about the damage he said he would get back with me. After a second email the owner finally got back to me. Instead of taking ownership of the problem, he criticized me for my opinion on the damage and poor customer service. However I must compliment Two Man on one thing. When they visit you the first time they are very good at telling you exactly what you want to hear. We believed the owner when he told us there would be no last minute changes to the estimate, or how careful Two Man would be and how great their customer service was. In our case nothing could have been further from the truth. While I made the mistake of using Two Man I hope others after reading my experience will not make the same mistake I made. read more

Don't let the company fool you. Biggest crooks out there. Mike, the owner, came out to assess household and estimate cost. He is clean-cut and professional. Guys that came to load were not clean-cut and professional. They hurried through, marking down scratches where we wondered if any existed (so as not to be accountable). The runners they put down were filthy and left dirt and grit on the floor. They left black, greasy handprints on doors and walls. Our goods were put in storage. When it was time for them to be shipped via Stevens Van Lines (they work together), only half our goods arrived. They gave us the lame excuse that the semi was not big enough. We were paying for storage, and they knew exactly what size truck to order. Two Man Movers would not take responsibility, nor would they dispatch one of their own trucks to move the remainder. Many weeks later, we finally received the rest of our goods. So many items were broken, scratched and even missing. Two Man Movers would not return phone calls or help in any way. Mike's response to the dirty crew, was that they must need more training. They dropped our piano going out the front door and chips from underneath were retrieved. We were told they were professionals with pianos. Mike's response to that was, "Sounds like an accident to me," taking no responsibility or giving any reimbursement. Stevens also did not follow up on claim after claim. I rate both companies below even a one. One of Stevens drivers was very belligerent; the second one was decent. read more

DON"T DO IT! I used these guys in a pinch because my usual guys were booked. They were untrained thugs to put it mildly. We had a light snow the last week of March. Do you think the covered the hardwood floor with a moving blanket? Of course not. They treated every box as if it were indestructible. They arrived at 8:30 but didn't start working until almost 9:00 yet they wanted to charge me for the 30 minutes they spent smoking and getting ready to work. After only an hour they broke for breakfast and went to the corner market. They tried to charge me for that time as well. So now we're finally moving stuff. I had to watch their every move so they didn't destroy the house or my belongings. Well I didn't watch close enough. They dropped my washer down the stairs, beat up my dryer and made my freezer look like it spend a day at the golf driving range. Of course I filed a claim but they only paid .60 cents per pound. Do the math on a 200 pound $1,000 washer. Yep! Watch out for their little insurance scam. Even if you pay for their full coverage you pay the hefty deductible for THEIR incompetence! Accidents are one thing, negligence is something entirely different. My advise to anyone considering using Two Man Movers is DON'T DO IT! You would be better off hiring day laborers as that's basically what you get with these guys but for a lot more money. read more

I would definitely, absolutely, under no circumstance whatsoever use two man movers for anything! I received a quote over the phone and when they showed up at my house quoted prices and time frames to do the job were much higher than what I was told beforehand. I told them that I was quoted much lower transit price and hours to do the job. The movers at my house which appeared like 4 high school kids would not budge. I asked them to call the person I spoke with on the phone and they did but until I spoke with him he did not agree that the quoted terms and pricing were much different. The movers said it would take 11-11.5 hours to complete my move and I said that I felt I could get it done much quicker than that myself. He then got very defensive and said I was talking down to him and he refused to do the job. I told him that as a customer I cannot say I feel the job could be done in less time than 11-11.5 hours. The head mover then responded "I don't know what you do for a living but I am a professional mover." He would not talk with me anymore and left with the truck. I was left high and dry with a deadline to be out of my house. I had to find a U-Haul and do the move myself. I was able to complete the move in 6 hours once I finally got the U-Haul which was very difficult on such short notice, but this shows you who was being honest and truthful. I cannot believe a company would do something like this to a customer. I want to make sure that everyone knows what could happen if you decide to hire them for a move. I had to call the buyer of my house and request more time to be out but if they had not granted me extra time to find a U-Haul I would have violated my contract all because of a company you cannot trust or rely on. I called them after they left my house and discussed my concerns. They did not seem to care. I told them I would be posting this review online as this is completely unacceptable and horrible in every way. DON'T even think about using these guys!!!! I purchased a new $17,000 couch and not only did they damage the couch they damaged my walls and banisters trying to move it in. They didn't measure, they didn't wrap anything in pads and overall lacked any form of professionalism. I spoke with Cass Boren about my challenges, provided pictures and filled out their insurance claim form. He was both rude and dismissive and when I asked him to stand by their product he told me he wouldn't discuss it any further and that based on his years of experience I could easily fix what the screwed up. They tore my leather sofa, there's no fixing that cheaply! They put deep scratches in my walls which will require me to paint a large area to make it match. The scratches on my wood banisters can't be fixed. These guys are the worst movers I've ever used. They won't stand by their service offering and even though they admitted fault in damaging my property and new couch they elected to stonewall me with both aggressive and rude behavior. Look elsewhere...these guys are nothing short of a fly-by-night operation that will screw you versus honor a service commitment. By the way, they left the damaged couch in my garage and I had to hire someone else to move it into my house given I couldn't return it after they damaged it. read more
