We hired two men and a truck in Gurnee Il to move my son's furnishings from Wadsworth Il to just across the border in Gurnee Il. They managed to cause damage to many pieces of furniture. My son filed a claim with the office with promise of sending someone out to assess and repair the damaged pieces. Needless to say no follow through or repairs were done. This move was on August 13th 2024. read more

My movers were fast, efficient and made sure everything was wrapped up and secure before moving it. They were personable and easy to work with. One of the movers even untangled cords from old computers and phone lines that I hadn't been able to get to because they were behind a cabinet. Worst moving experience I've ever had. Movers forgot furniture at the pickup location. Movers went back to the pickup location and moved it only to the garage and said they'd come back for it the next morning. Ops Mgr named Logan informed me they'd have to charge me the $195/hr rate to transfer it (FOR THEIR MISTAKE). He then called back to tell me he talked to the mover and he could do it for me if I left a review. I told him I wouldn't be leaving a good review and he then told me I'd have to pay the $195/hr rate. He was incredibly rude. We left voicemails for the GM and never received a call back. The movers used stripped screws to assemble the bed when new screws were provided. They did not put the king mattress on the frame. I would not recommend using the Gurnee location for your moving needs. read more

We had the pleasure of using Two Men and a Truck for our big move this weekend. We were supposed to have 3 people based on the size and volume of our items. Unfortunately there was a call-off so it was just two guys: Ryan and Randy. These guys were so nice, so professional, and so mindful of everything. I was blown away by how quick and efficient they were! It was a perfect storm of challenges: down one guy, moving out of a third floor walk-up, and there was a massive snow storm looming in the afternoon. Ryan and Randy handled everything with awesome attitudes and care you would hope for when someone is handling your personal belongings. Wednesday June 8th, 2022. Philip, Alex,and Scott arrived ON TIME-Prepared and with Awesome Personalities. We are in our late 70's and these 3 couldn't have been nicer, they were so organized, had a plan and worked fast but careful of our possessions. We moved from Fox Lake, Il to Yorkville, Il, in the pouring rain, never a comment about the bad weather form any of them. They put items in there places, did the paperwork and then on to their next job. What a Delight these 3 were, we surely will use them again if we need and definitely would suggest others use this Company too, and hopefully you'd get these 3 gentlemen thank you all ! read more

-The movers purposely move as slow as possible. -They packed only a portion of the truck and had to go back and get more items which was not in the contract. -The movers put the manager on speaker phone without knowledge of me standing next to the phone and he offered no assistance. -The movers made multiple dents and scraps on my walls. -one of the movers became frustrated and threw one of my boxes with out knowing that I was watching outside of the truck. And he destroyed my XBox. -I asked the mover to be careful that I had with a passed down from generation to generation starting from the 1930's and he threw the box like a rag doll. Very immature. -After all of this the mover told me everything was broken before they started. These people are horrible and just selfish. -This company does not care for the customers and the sad part about it I tipped the movers before hand. These guys are awful. See many movers in our complex and these are the worst. The ONLY movers who intentionally block the garage access and very rudely won't move even when asked. All of the movers move up 10 feet to not block the common garage. I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE USING THEM....STAY AWAY FROM TWO THIEVES AND THEIR TRUCK... We feel that we were scammed by this company. They quoted us one price as a quote and then they added so many charges they ended up charging close to $2,000 on moving day INSTEAD OF $800-$1200. They ended up crashing our very exclusive VINTAGE bedroom set , valued at $7,000. We had taken an extra insurance for $200 and we felt we would be covered, all they gave us was $200 stating that since we took that xtra coverage they were not responsible , they made us call numerous times and would tell us "no worry we will make it right" they never did. I loved my vintage Ello bedroom made of dark mirror They also scratched our floors, We reported them to the BBB, but they claim since we took the $200 they had no more liability. Let me say first that I don't like to give bad reviews but my daughter had a one bedroom apartment and she was supposed to have three guys move her there was two. She didn't want me to help move her for I'm retired and 70 years old. These guys took their sweet time taking a half an hour to go out to their truck bringing only a few things and back. According to them it took them almost two hours to get from Mundelein to Deerfield to start the job. It took them an extra 45 minutes to go from Deerfield to Gurnee than it took my daughter. They didn't have a screw driver so my daughter had to find one while they waited doing nothing for 45 minutes. After they left Gurnee to put the rest of the things in Storage I then went with and helped unload the truck it was getting late. I literally out worked both of these guys. The move should of taken a total three hours tops four the truck was only a third full if that. We were told that the total charge would be for 13 hours we disputed this and were told we could not leave until we paid and they would call the police, we called the police.We asked to talk to his boss he said he was gone .Then later they called him then said he would not talk to us because it was not a recorded line. The police told us we could leave and we could dispute the charges tomorrow. They changed the credit card and never got a chance to dispute charges. They should not be in business!!!!! read more

We moved over a month ago now. Movers worked hard and got the job done in the estimated time, but some damage was done to our belongings. When we submitted a claim, we told Vanessa what was damaged. They asked us how much we thought they owed us. You owe me the value of what you damaged, we gave the name of the mattress you ruined and the price we paid for it. Not to mention wall and floor damage that was not insignificant. It has been 3 weeks since we have had any contact, and that last contact was "we are working on it and will get back to you soon" Now we can't even get anyone to pick up the phone, return a call or an email. So I had used this company years ago (when they had a Lake Bluff franchise office) and vowed to never use them again-but this was close and had decent ratings, so I gave this different franchise location a shot. I am SO glad I did-their rates were competitive, from the first phone call they were courteous and friendly, and the movers...Miguel (lead), Jose, and Shamon were fantastic! The crew was friendly, and more importantly-they were so gentle with my belongings, but moved lightening fast and were so efficient-I was very impressed!! I have never had a move where SOMETHING wasn't broken or damaged, so I guess there is a first time for everything (thankfully in this case!!) Based on the move out date, I contacted 2 Men and A Truck through YELP at the end of May, and decided to hire them to move us. I spoke with their customer service representatives on several occasions about what services they offered, and the estimated costs. Yesterday, one of the representatives did a walkthrough of our house to give me a more accurate estimate. I was supposed to get a call today with the final estimate. By 4:00, I did not hear from them, so I called them. I was told that "THEY WERE UNABLE TO MOVE US, DUE TO STAFF SHORTAGES". This answer is absolute b**ls***. They simply decided not to move us. We are on a tight deadline. They cost me 2 weeks of time that I could have spent hiring movers who would not bail on us at the 11th hour. Their unspeakably unprofessional, heartless behavior has created a crisis. If you are in the process of looking for movers, I want this review to save you the agony of my experience with 2 Men and Truck. Do not hire them under any circumstances. Behavior repeats itself. As I sit here right now exhausted from moving a house that had 26 years of "stuff" I am extremely happy with Joe M Jr, Joe M Sr and his crew. They excuted the move with enthusiasm, took direction well, they are the best movers I have seen. I helped my boyfriend moved this time but there has been many times I have moved and I dreaded dealing with a moving company again. This has been a breath of fresh air. My Fiance and I were moving from Vernon Hills to Chicago on 7/23 and hired the Mundelein Two Men and a Truck. The experience was truly terrible and not worth a penny. First and foremost, the 3 men REFUSED TO WEAR A MASK. Let's say it again - THEY. REFUSED. TO. WEAR. A MASK. DURING. A. GLOBAL PANDEMIC. We specifically asked them AND even provided masks and they refused to enter our home if we required them to wear one and told us we could reschedule our move (which we both took off work for). They then proceeded to tell us that they are "essential workers and not required to wear masks". Which is illegal in the state of IL. On top of that, no furniture was wrapped or mattresses so we had multiple damages and dirty mattresses AND a missing TV. We called within the hour of noticing it and reported it. Didn't hear anything back, two days passed - nothing. When I inquired about the lack of mask wearing and the corporate company policy, the brand manager (Frank) told me they "can't control what their employees do when they leave the premises". Again, illegal and you most certainly can have repercussions for employees who do not follow company policy or the law. We have called every number seeking a follow up on our missing TV, missing rug, and missing glass top and damaged items and have been met with a run around. Eventually I was told by both Frank and their corporate claims manager, Vanessa, that there is no record of them moving any TVs or the other items. lol. ok. Well I have the proof of walk through sheet that clearly states 2 TVs - so now I would consider that stolen. Mind you, this is a FULL WEEK after the move. After continuing to call everyone under the sun for some sort of follow up on the situation we were eventually were offered an "above and beyond" offer of $300 to reimburse for the damages and missing items all in exchange to remove our negative review. However, I'd love to know the price of human life? Me and my fiance are now exposed which can lead to us exposing our family. I will NOT be removing any reviews for exchange for money especially to cover up illegal activity. I will be reporting this branch to the State of Illinois for illegal activity and writing this review anywhere that can be seen. Be warned - support a locally owned company instead. read more

This was my fourth move in four years with my seventh different crew. I've had three company-induced cross-country moves where I've had multiple move crews at different ends, and in the middle of that I paid for one local move in Dallas by myself. This Two Men and a Truck crew (for me it was actually three men) was by far the best I've worked with out of all of them. They were professional, arrived on time, were honest with me throughout on pros and cons for additional purchases (I.e. Mattress bags), and were extremely respectful of the time they spent on the move. They were careful with my things but didn't drag their feet - knowing that I was paying by the fifteen minute interval. They beat the estimated time by a couple hours - partially because I had moved many of my boxes in advance. Had they moved all of my boxes they probably would have been right at or just under the time - thought it probably helped that I had the advantage of having the bill of lading from my last move to very accurately outline my household goods for the estimate. Hopefully I am done moving for a long time - but should I ever need a local move crew again I will definitely be calling Two Men and a Truck. read more

Do NOT....I repeat, do not use this company for a move. I have moved 13 times over the years. This last time was the most horrendous experience I have ever had. First, we told them we had a storage unit and a one bedroom and that we were moving into a two bedroom apartment. We set up a move for June 1st starting at public storage inbetween 730-830 am. We got there early and moved everything from the storage unit downstairs and had it all organized for them. 8am comes...no movers. So we call to just make sure. Yup, supposedly on the way. So we sit and wait. Another truck pulls up. It says elite truck rental. We sit and wait....and wait. Finally, the guys that were in the truck come out and we realize that it's our guys. They were calling the wrong number. Bad start already. So they literally moved all of our stuff about 10 feet into the truck. We head to our old apartment and have the elevator from 9-11AM. Should be ADEQUATE time for three guys to move our one bedroom. I have never seen anything like it. They were the slowest moving movers EVER. One guy, we never seen. The other guy was grabbing one thing at a time and the last guy was taking his sweet ass time putting wraps on the furniture. The sad part was my fiance was moving EVERYTHING into the hallway to speed them up. Needless to say, it didnt happen. The truck didnt have enough room in it. So these idiots Jason, R Torres and some other guy were standing downstairs and trying to figure it out. Wasting time. They then say they want to take apart the table to make it fit. We had asked them not to do this. WHO IS THIS COMPANY??? They ended up doing it anyway. They also took apart my shower caddy and lost the parts so I had to go and get a new one. Needless to say, we lost the elevator. Ended up getting blocked in at the loading dock. They had to leave half of our stuff there and go and unload at the new place. We then had to go back to the other place and reload and unload again. Now, like I said, I have moved 13 times. This was definitely UNLUCKY 13. I have everything ready to go. Boxed, taped, whatever needs to be done. The only thing they needed to do with our stuff is wrap the furniture and move it. It took them 9 hours with the help of my fiance the whole time and all of the stops were within 0.5 miles of each other. I have NEVER experienced this with 'professional' movers. WHAT A JOKE!~ DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They showed up late with a rental truck. Definitely not a good sign. My grandmother could have moved faster than them. Oh yeah and Anis (sp?) at the Chicago office is a complete jerk. He has no idea how to handle customer service. He was like, well I dont know what to tell you. Requested a quote online with my moving date. The next morning was contacted by a consultant confirming availability for my move date and to call to book. I called to book, he said the date wasn't available and asked me if I could move my date by 9 days. I said no and asked why he would send me a quote with my original date if there wasn't something available. He then said he only had a smaller truck with a 330pm time frame, even though his quote said 9am on my original requested date. Then wanted to charge $700 for the smaller truck. I work in customer service myself and would have been fired if I treated someone the way I was treated by Two Men and a Truck. Where do I begin...? First I took inventory with Nanci throughout the house. We went over multiple bigger furniture items discussing there would be multiple boxes with each room as well. I'm moving out of a 1,300 sq foot townhome, two bedrooms a living room a kitchen and plenty of storage that we had. I'm selling my home on Monday so I need to be out by Sunday, they refused to pick up my stuff on a Sunday so we agreed on Saturday. My issue with that is only because they still charged me an overnight fee for both nights totaling $1,000. I'd understand one night but I had to pay for a second night just to bend to their schedule. However everything still came out cheapest so I decided to move forward. The movers showed up and they were actually super nice guys to deal with. But this is when the issues started. They brought a 26 foot truck (a big normal sized moving truck), and we began walking through the home to see what we were moving. Immediately they began to say the truck was not big enough saying our move he was estimating to be about "150 items" where our quote was for "33 items". When I discussed this with Nanci she told me that all boxes are just included in the price, that this truck should be big enough...if boxes are supposed to be part of this quote, WHO THE HELL CAN MOVE ON JUST 33 ITEMS!?!?!? This could have been a red flag in the quoting process to fix before issues came up the day of. Now we bring the manager on duty into this, I wish I remembered his name, but what an asshole. We took photos of everything and he agreed there was no way we could fit everything on to just one truck, and there were no more truck or guys available to help. One of the movers was talking to us about how this is a very normal circumstance that people are always being quoted for not nearly enough, and how many employees have been quitting lately for being over worked and getting customers extremely aggravated at them. We started brainstorming possible solutions for whatever we couldn't fit into the truck that I would go and rent a U-Haul. Then the problem was that it's Saturday afternoon and all the U-Haul locations were closed until Monday which isn't going to do us good cause we need to be out. Then the worst part, their manager gets back on the phone with me and tells me there is nothing he can do about it for us. I was still trying to work out anything and he would refuse. Rather than fill up the truck as much as possible he ordered and threatened his employees that if they don't leave immediately he would fire them (Sounds like a great working environment and culture they have there). So now it's late Saturday afternoon, the weekend when everyone is closed, and I need to be out by Sunday night. Luckily I'm able to get a hold of another moving company that I was working with and they could make it happen for me on Sunday. Rather than tell me they don't have another truck, they sent one in the morning and when another became available they would send that one late in the afternoon. The best part to all of this, Sunday morning the other truck shows up and loads everything we own onto the same sized truck 2 Men had sent. It took them 3.5 hours to put everything on to a 26 foot truck, with room leftover. What a disgrace of a company, and a disgrace in customer service. Not acknowledging that they screwed up the quoting process and rather than fix it left me high and dry with 24 hours left to move out. Please message me and I'll be happy to send you the movers I used and get you the contact info for the rep who answered her phone at 4pm on a Saturday to make sure our move would still workout. I have never been more disgusted by a moving company in my life. The crew that was sent to my house looked and acted as if they had never moved a piece of furniture in their life. They broke my table and damaged my walls in my old house. I wish I would have kicked them out right then! When they were done with my new house, I was left with broken front steps, damaged hard wood floors, gouges in my walls, a broken banister and a scratched door. Their response was to send a "handyman" to my house who proceeded to argue with my husband that the damage was not done by them (the crew admitted to it on site and the damage was documented on the report). He said the walls were painted a long time ago, so he would not do anything but patch the areas that were damaged. The corporate office as no help. We are still waiting for a manager to contact us and come out to our house, but every time we call we are put into voicemail. read more

This was my first time moving and it was a horrendous experience. They showed up late and were rather slow and careless with my belongings. They damaged a leg of the couch as they were brining it in in addition to the bird cage stand as they separated it from the flight cage. The cage didn't sit quite right in the stand anymore so I had to get rid of the stand. The flight cage has since been sitting on the floor of my living room. This experience felt more like asking friends or neighbors to help move furniture, rather than hiring people who are supposed to know how to move furniture with care. Don't use this company. Do NOT....I repeat, do not use this company for a move. Please take your moving needs elsewhere. So, so bad. Never again, and I will NEVER recommend their services. You get what you pay for. We had Josh and Justin from the Mundelein, IL office move us today. They called us and asked if they could come earlier than they were scheduled as they finished the job before ours earlier than expected. They were very polite, and very professional. We were completing our move with some things going to our new house and the rest being delivered to Sparrow's Nest for a donation. They were so nice at Sparrow's Nest and worked around the furniture there as well as working with the employees to move their things around to make room for our donations. They were very careful not to hit our walls, damage anything etc. We were very pleased with our team and would hire them again with confidence. Thank you Justin and Josh! Also the quote I received by phone was exactly correct. They were able to estimate the time it would take based on the items I told them we were moving. read more

Wouldn't use these guys again. Spent 4 hours moving 8 pieces of furniture. 5 of the pieces I could have moved myself! There were only 2 pieces that I couldn't possibly lift and a queen and a king mattress. The total came to over $500 for a move that was EXACTLY 1.5 miles from one house to another. I asked what took so long and they said because of the hallways. Wait what!! Because u have a 2 minute walk from my apt to the door it took u 4 hours. They showed up at 11:45 and said they clocked in at 11 at their shop. I asked what took so long. They said they stopped for water and gas and some time would be reduced. Didn't happen! I paid a rate of $135 an hour for them to dilly dally at the gas station and fill up a tank that holds probably at least 40 gallons of gas. They didn't really even need much gas for my trip cause it was 1.5 miles away. I noticed that they left they "forgot" my queen mattress in the truck. I then went to see what else they have "forgotten" which was nothing fortunately cause all I had were 1 large bookshelf. 3 small bookshelfs I can carry one handed. 2 side tables and a king and queen mattress. My ex husband who was a mover for about a year said that they like to "forget" things because some people argue and try to talk to a manager and get the money to come down which means they lose their $10 an hour and they wanna get what's rightfully theirs (which is your stuff!) (Although the company charges $135 per hour, the employees only see about $10) I wonder if they would have "remembered" before they left even though I did pay the whole 4 hours of time for 8 items. The guys who showed up had tattoos galore and were obviously second chancers at a moving company because they would fail a background check and are being exploited with little pay. Mundelein locationI've use them this was my third time and was the worst move ever. Their employees damage my antique furniture. It was never packed properly it should've had three blankets and wrapped was loaded incorrectly in the truck next to four solid wood dressers on back of my China cabinet. I was also charged extra which I was disputing. I started with 2 Men And A Truck at 2 PM and they requested help a supervisor came with two more employees. It took 11 hours to move from a townhouse to a three bedroom apartment with a total of four men and one truck. Left items still wrapped in blankets in my apartment. My dining room table was still not assembled leaning left on my kitchen island. The employee that was driving the truck Justin was in charge to make sure he should've did a final walk-through. Which he refuse never did a walk-through if he did he would've seen that there was work left unfinished. Justin's whole concern was he was told that his boss told him they had to stop at 9 PM and they were leaving he was trying to leave boxes and items in the front of my apartment on the grass . It was the worst unprofessional shitty ass job that I paid for I've asked for a refund or some type of credit . They wait at the last minute to load most of my heavy furniture to the truck and refuse to take items like my living room couch with two bookshelves as part of my entertainment system furniture. Multiple multiple damages to my solid wood furniture. I complained to Diego the operational manager I left him three messages which he never return my call the following Monday. My move was August 29 Saturday. I've used this company before and never had any issues or any problems. I pretty much send two guys and a truck one has some experience the other guy is pretty much learning how to be a mover. I specifically asked Mike at the office to make sure that they sent experienced movers explaining that I have fragile furniture to make sure they were properly wrapped and taken care of and loaded correctly in the truck. I also sent the main manager and email in details of the lack of employees work ethic and what exactly happened that was really Happen how they forgot the dollies in Illinois and waited over an hour which for mover guys refuse to bring boxes in my apartment they just took a break was eating was talking on their phone or just I don't know where they went. This is unacceptable they should've picked up boxes which they refuse and we had a sit here and wait over an hour for Diego to send another guy that he put the two dollies in his van and forgot to send him to Kenosha Wisconsin where I was moving too Nick Staggs he is the general manager at the location in Mundelein. So I pretty much paid for a move that was overpriced so I'm disputing the extra charges. 2 men and a truck's company failed to properly secure my furniture properly with one blanket and just wrap for a China cabinet that had a mirror and glass . I have pictures to prove it pictures of how they loaded it incorrectly in the truck. They Left me with multiple damages on expensive solid wood fragile furniture that will cost more than $.60 on the dollar insurance. I was never offer additional insurance because my move was not hourly it was not local it was out of state across state lines. Justin the guy in charge never offer me additional insurance he pretty much told me because it was an out-of-state move the insurance will cover everything. So because I'm disputing the extra charges 2 Men And A Truck's company which I asked to speak to the owner and asked for their names and phone number which the general manager at the Mundelein location Nick Staggs has refused to give me that information as a customer that has used them for three times worse customer service ever.So because I'm disputing the extra charges I paid for services that were not packed correctly or were loaded incorrectly in their truck which caused lots of damages today is September 8 and they don't even want to discuss repairs. They expect me to pay the additional dispute charges on my credit card to discuss supposedly schedule repairs that was never schedule to begin with. So they pretty much are telling me they're not gonna give me anything back. I will be happy to take them to small claims court and let a judge decide for the damages that they cause due to improper packing them correctly and loading them in the truck. I paid for service and honestly all I got was a shitty job. Your employees just wanted to take boxs throw them everywhere and get out of there with no consideration of my delicate furniture. Due to the way they improperly loaded the truck I had to rent a U-Haul truck the following day Sunday to take the remaining items to my apartment. The moving team was super slow - it was obvious they were paid by the hour. My final cost was about double the estimate. They were also very careless with my belongings. I moved from a single family home to a condo - the moving team was flabbergasted by the moving rules of the condo (specific entrance, elevator, etc). This shouldn't be "new" news to an experienced team - this is the norm for condos. I had to manage the project and provide them with an action plan on how to get the move done. I had a fractured foot and sprained ankle, and ended up helping them move my stuff as they were so darn slow! My friend was in the truck taking things out in order to expedite the move. Nice guys but they were very careless with my furnishings (many large nicks/scratches, punctured lamp shade, etc.) and they couldn't have moved any slower if they tried. I would not recommend using them. read more

i used two men and a truck for a move thanks to a recommendation from a friend. my move was schedule for 2:00pm - i took the day off work to make the move. 2:00pm rolls around... no truck. i start to get worried - maybe they messed up my time, day, etc. i call the office. "your truck should be arriving in the next 15 minutes." 20 minutes later, i call again. "your truck should be arriving any minute now. they are at another job just up the street." repeat this cycle for a few hours. before you know it, it's 7:00pm. FIVE HOURS after my scheduled move time. finally, the movers show up - looking completely exhausted after their previous move. the explanation as to why they were five hours late? the people scheduled ahead of me underestimated how much stuff they had, and what was supposed to be a two man job, was actually a three man job - but they only had two men to do it. okay, sure. ...but why is this my problem? i can't go yell at the guy who was scheduled before me. why am i punished for his mistake? don't they have reinforcements they can call in? according to my two moving guys, this happens "all the time." so, if something happens all the time, as a business owner, wouldn't you do something to stop it from happening again and again? not if you're two men and a truck. so, back to the rest of the move. everything gets loaded into the truck. we head over to the new place (about five blocks away.) at this point, the movers are totally beat. they start taking long breaks between trips up to my apartment. the breaks get so long, i start taking stuff up myself. at this point, it's about 9:00pm. instead of telling them where i wanted everything as they brought stuff up, i had them throw everything in the family room in an effort to speed the process up. i regretted this later. by the time they left my apartment, it was 10:00pm - 8 hours after my scheduled move time! when i started unpacking the next day, i realized several of my items were damaged during the move - my tv stand's door was completely ripped off and knicked up and a large poster frame was busted, as were a vase and another picture frame. i looked into getting an assessment - but the only time the "assessor" is available to come over is monday-friday, 9-5pm. how convenient! needless to say, i was extremely disappointed with my (expensive) move. when i called to speak to the manager, he wasn't around. i left a message. no call back. called again, no manager. third time - i call, and finally get to talk to the manager. i told him about my move, and he was extremely rude - i guess i should have expected this since he couldn't seem to return any of my calls. he never said sorry or apologized for what happened. not once. instead, he kept asking me "well, what do you want me to do about it?" over and over again. i told him that i wanted to have my move discounted. he told me he already took an hour off and that was all he could do, "too bad." the tone of his voice on the phone was as if i wronged him in some way. i kindly let him know that i would tell everyone i knew not to use two men, ever. he did not seem to care. oh, and no matter where the truck is before your move (mine was four blocks away,) they still charge you for the gas and time it takes to get to and from gurnee to your location. in closing, don't use two men if you expect an on time move or anything remotely resembling customer service. read more

Terrible experience, they scratched my furniture while packing and then must have dragged my kitchen table uncovered into the truck because the top is gouged and scratched -both dining and kitchen tables now need refinishing thanks to them. They dropped boxes and didn't tell me, breaking the contents within. They had zero care for my freshly painted walls and beautiful hardwood floors in the new place so now need touch ups everywhere. When I sent in my list of damages -they had the nerve to demand original receipts on my furniture -the dining table is from the 30's and the kitchen is midcentury, both inherited pieces. Most of the items they smashed to bits were gifts received over the years, so no receipts. Never again, and I will NEVER recommend their services. read more

We used two men and a truck to move our heavy furniture when we moved into our condo a few months ago. They had very good prices, but I wasn't too impressed with the service. The movers were very nice and all, but compared to movers I had used in the past, it just seemed like they were very unprepared for the move. They brought minimal equipment with them and scratched some of our wood up on our bed. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Two Men and a Truck. They were my 2nd choice and I certainly wish I would have come to them first. When I was lied to and cheated by my first movers, who never actually showed up, I contacted Two Men and a Truck. I hired them for an interstate move. The agent was professional and courteous. They did not require 50% payment up front but rather a reasonable deposit. The movers came on time. They were friendly, professional, efficient and accommodating. I felt entirely comfortable with them. My belongings arrived safely and timely the following morning. They were hired to perform a service and they did exactly that. I would use them again. read more
