What a fabulous joint! There is a really interesting architectural feature over the front facade which is a clue to the eclectic and unique menu. It's dark interior is offset by all the windows and glass pane doorways. There's lots of room between tables and although not packed when I visited you can hear your conversations and the awesome mellow rock music over the house system. I enjoyed the soup of the day which was a kale, sausage soup a bit hearty but light and it was excellent. The wonderful crusty bread trucked in from a north Jersey bakery was a perfect match. Hard to choose an entree because every I time is tempting. I chose the Gnocchi with venison sausage which is baked with mushrooms and sweet potatoes in a light cream sauce. This reminded me of a gourmet hunting camp dish. bravo to the chef!!! The wait staff was light for my visit but friendly and attentive. I got a bit of a standoffish vibe from my server but she was working the entire dining room with only a food runner to assist. A curse and a blessing this place isn't in my neighborhood, I'd be there almost everyday until I tried everything on the menu ten times. The best part? I just checked their website and it says: "FREE BACON Happy Hour Every Wednesday from 4-7 PM" Let that soak in. On a Monday night, this place was the perfect stop to get out of the cold. So glad we did as the food and service are spectacular. The decor is right on point too: rustic feel, super clean, low lighting, candles on the table in mini mason jars. App: each table gets bread and butter and man oh man the butter was delicious. Mixed with some sort of sweet awesomeness and served at room temp. I normally don't touch bread and butter but I demolished my piece in record time. We also got the Nola kicked-up chicken dip which are served with a small basket of toasted bread slivers and celery. If this wasn't served in a caste iron skillet I would have picked it up and licked it clean. Entrees: 3 words: blackened chicken sandwich. It comes with your choice of fries or a small salad. The salad has a great green citrus dressing served on the side. The chicken sandwich is fantastic, chicken served juicy and full of flavor. Everything in the sandwich was very complimentary. Another reason I loved this one, for $12 it's a great portion leaving you oh so satisfied. Also tried the baked gnocchi and venison sausage which is served in a cast iron skillet too with mushrooms, butternut squash, walnuts, and gorgonzola. It's good but the breadcrumbs were a bit overpowering. Made the dish look pretty but it was hard to get away from all of it. Great mix of flavors though, I especially enjoyed the gnocchi and butternut squash bites. The beer selection is one to tango with, a fantastic spot with a great ambience and even better service. Stopped here for brunch today, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Although we were told we'd have to wait 20 minutes to order due to a large party upstairs, we actually were able to order right away. The service was excellent, as were our drinks (a mimosa and an amber ale). I had the braised short rib with fried egg and cheese grits, and my husband had the "porque Madame," a pork belly sandwich served with roasted potatoes and breakfast gravy. Have to admit, I was pretty nervous we would never get in once I called Saturday night and they said they had 0 room. We took a chance and headed there at 6:30pm and got 2 seats at the bar. They had a fun drink menu and the blueberry lemonade was awesome. Pints were $5, great deal and choices! We started with the Nola chicken dip and I could have had 5 more orders. It was so delicious!!!! The crostini to dip ratio was a bit off (more crostini or bread to dip in?!) but it was incredible. I visited Two Rivers Brewing Company on a not so busy Thursday night for a pretty early dinner around 6. The food was surprisingly more sophisticated than I thought as walking in I had the impression its just another bar food place where people come mostly to drink for happy hours. The place wasn't too crowded but I think because it was a week night they were a bit understaffed perhaps, the front staff did seem to have work a bit little harder to keep all of the tables covered but overall the service was pretty good. We sat on the path to the kitchen so it was pretty hard to ignore us after all :) The Venison sasuage I had were really good, I really wasn't expecting this level of creativity with the menu and glad they turn out really well. The black bean burger I had a few bites as well and it was good as expected but really I think its the plates entrees dishes that I thought is what makes the place stands more than other restaurants in the area. Definitely a very enjoyable meal here and a good atmosphere. I can definitely see why this place was so highly reviewed on yelp and really can recommend anyone in the area to give it a try. read more

The servers have always been attentive and seem to work with each other so there's always someone there for you. The food is flavorful, well balanced, and creative. Their beer is good -- I recommend a flight so you can try a few and find one that knocks your socks off. The last time we were there, the food came out very quickly and we were still eating our app. The manager came by to do a check and I casually mentioned it to him, even though it wasn't really a big deal. I really like this place. Aside from not the best parking situation, it's hard not to like this microbrew based on the drinks, food, service, and atmosphere. I've gone there about 5 times and have never been disappointed.....maybe sometimes because it's a touch crowded, but that's a good thing right? Menu is solid (I don't know if it changes often but the burger, the pulled pork, and the appetizers....most of them I've had....are all good. I also remember the fries being exceptional). Bartenders very knowledgable...which they should be because it's their own beer of course, but they've always steered me in the correct direction. We split a Peanut Butter Burger; Thought I was the only kitchen that produced a PB Burger, it was well cooked (Medium) and well decorated (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc - FRESH); Duck Fat Fries that were off the charts;at the suggestion of the waitress, and a salad and truthfully that more than enough food for two. This is one of the highest rated restaurants in Easton on Tripadvisor, so my expectations were high. The nectarine goat cheese salad was just OK. Some of the goat cheese was moist and creamy and some of it was crumbly and off-tasting. The vegan stuffed peppers were inconsistent. The tomatoey vegetable medley served on the side was outrageously delicious, but the peppers had no taste and the quinoa stuffed into the peppers was lacking taste. The strawberry cheesecake ice cream was also weird. Something was wrong with the texture; I imagined that the ice cream included frozen bits of cake. Lately, I have been finding fault with sorbet and ice cream in many restaurants. I think I'll stick to ice cream parlors from now on for my frozen treats. read more

Tom and Evan made what could have been a lame Saturday night an evening to remember! We were unable to get a table until 8pm so opted for a seat at the bar. I could not be happier on how the evening turned out. Tom made me an exquisite old fashioned and had the witty banter to match. My meal of Poutine was excellent and my partners burger was delicious as well. Evan offered me a sample of the pink gosé and it was so lovely after my meal I couldn't find a reason not to try it! Ate with a large group of 18. Only reserved a few days in advance and was happy they could accommodate us! Upstairs private room was nice. 4 stars for service as the single waiter did well taking care of us as best he could! 2 stars for for food. Everyone in my group was respectful and said their dish was "good", but all said they "might" come back... Many said their food was warm not hot, which we understand based on the size of our group. I had the shrimp and grits, which I did not like at all. The grits were way too bitter and seasoned. The shrimp too had too much lemon on something on them and the little bits of sausage were unflavorful hard rocks. 9/15/18 Brought my gluten-free wife tonight. Very limited choices for her (a bun less burger ie "you can have a partial meal and less food for the same price" is NOT an acceptable GF option). She chose the only GF option, the shrimp and grits I'd reviewed before. She agreed they were disgusting. Shrimp too acidic and really greasy grits. Yuck. Outside seating was cute with string lights and props to Easton for closing the street to allow for a lot of tables for them. We got the bacon wrapped jalapeños and short rib poutine as apps - i didn't try the jalapeños but I can say the poutine was amazing. Very cool inside. Kept alot of the older decor and it looks great. It was a little warm in here when we arrived and they told us we couldn't order for 20 minutes because the kitchen was backed up? Never heard of this. Just tell us the food will take time to come out. Both of these weren't an issue, they turned on fans and it was all good. The food was very good here, drinks as well.
