If you live in Easton or nearby and haven't been then shame on you!! We live two and a half hours away and live trying new places. This is one of the BEST restaurants I have ever been to. The beer was great, I had their signature IPA and my wife had the mango jalapeno margarita which was good and strong as well. We then ordered the Nashville hot chicken and the peanut butter cheddar burger. The chicken was amazing which I never thought I'd say about chicken tenders they're either good or bad usually these were crazy good. The peanut butter cheddar burger we were on the fence about but we went for it and it was amazing like I'm still thinking about it. I would make a trip all the way back to Easton just to eat here!! read more

Stopped in a few weeks ago on a Friday night because I was in the area. Upon walking up to the brewery, the street was blocked off and there was a tent and some fire pits and chairs with an event going on, which I found out happens once a month or so and was called Sixth Street on Fire. Cool. We walked inside and it is apparently more of a restaurant and it was very busy inside. The bar was across the room from the entrance and completely packed. Hostess was also pretty confused when we asked if there was a tasting room. She did reveal that there was also an upstairs bar, so we went up there to get pints and chatted with the bartender up there. She was very friendly and helpful, explained what the event was about and told us we could take our pints to sit out by the fire pits if we wanted. We did! I had a brown ale and my date had the red ale, both of which were pretty good. We sat and enjoyed about an hour or so by the warm fires and I have to say, after an awkward first few minutes I am really glad we stopped here and we had a good time. Will return. read more

Food is pretty good but very low quality iced tea and soda. For a place that prides itself on food you would think they would have decent beverages. There's an overt political feel here, so the other half of the country might not feel particularly comfortable with the owners' political expression on social issues. Also the neighborhood is pretty rough. It's nicer up closer to the town square. Certainly would be a bit nicer (and safer) experience up that way. Burgers were good. They ruin poutine with some odd sauce. read more

Let me start by saying the food and the service were good. We ordered the cheddar bacon burgers and they were juicy and tasty and the fries were good. No problem with the food. What was the problem? Well, when we walked in we noticed a faint, funky odor but we ignored it. The place wasn't busy but they seated us at a small two top table by the window. We appreciated the window light as the place is rather dark and dingy and didn't look the cleanest. As we were sitting there we noticed a swarm of rather large flies. We tried killing a couple as they were quite intrusive, but more kept coming. When we noticed the small roaches walking up the window we moved our seats away from the window. There were several of them, and as you can imagine it didn't make for an appetizing dining experience. At this point I wanted the check, and a path to the nearest exit. Interestingly, the bathrooms were very clean, so I can't imagine what went wrong in the dining room. The dining room needs a thorough scrub and a contract with the best pest control company they can find. read more

Two Rivers is my hands down favorite place to eat in the Lehigh Valley. Their food is wonderful, a few of my favorites over the years have been the mussels and frites, the peanut butter bacon cheeseburger, blackened chicken sandwich... well I could go on but I won't. The service has always been great, the wait staff is always very attentive, and will make sure you get exactly what your looking for. Oh also! You gotta try their desserts. Holy moley. And in addition their beer is wonderful. I've never had a beer here that I've been unhappy with. read more

The ambiance was nice the service was great the food was ok. we were there on a Saturday night and they had a live band which was cool. Unfortunately, I was expecting to enjoy the food more based on the menu. If I lived in the area I would give this place another go.I got a burger which off the menu sounded really exciting but unfortunately was very underwhelming. The beef lacked flavor and a pleasing texture and the toppings did not compliment the experience overall. We also got some apps for the table but again everything was just ok nothing I would get again. Overall, it's a cool spot to hang out and get some food and drink with friends but I was not impressed by the food. read more

What in the world is going on at this place? Three times we've tried going here - for brunch, dinner, and lunch just now. But each time they basically deny you service by saying, "there's a 45 minute wait before you can order. You can sit down, but we got a few tables at once. We won't take your food order." Ummm, what? It's the lunch hour. The dining room was no more than 1/4 full. Plenty of tables and seats at the bar. Other times they've done something similar when trying to go for dinner. They're openly turning away business even though they're nowhere near capacity. It's very odd. Is the food here really that good??? I don't get it. read more

My husband & I just had lunch here yesterday. 9/9/2023. We have been there before and we had a nice experience in the past. We ordered their bacon cheeseburgers. Very over cooked. The French fries had so much salt on them, and I do use salt, but not that much! Our bacon on the cheeseburgers were very hard and not edible. Beautiful old building. Restored nicely. Different owners since we have been there. We were immediately brought water, which was nice. Asked, who we thought was our server, for a drink order and was told, "I'm not your server." And then she walked away. Maybe she could have said , "Someone will be right with you or we are really busy." Sat there for at least 10 minutes and no one said, "I'll be right with you" or no acknowledgement. I did wave to the server, or who I thought was our server and we considered leaving, but I told my husband, "Let's just wait a little longer." The establishment was not crowded. Other people were sat after us and we waited on. Meaning their drink orders were taken immediately and this was a party of 6 people. The server who was waiting on other people right in front of us, could have said something to us. Like, "We are short staffed" or just anything. The Bartender came over to take our order. Staff was not friendly to us, but seemed to chat with all the other people around us. Oh, and as we were walking out, two other people were being sat and we heard the waiter say, "At least I didn't have to wait on them!" I have no idea what we did to offend, as we had no interaction with him. Maybe the wave? Idk. We always tip at least 20% regardless of the service, as I have been a server before and so have my daughters. I know it is a difficult job. I feel like 2 stars is generous. read more

Whoa, what a lunch! After an exhausting visit to the Crayola Experience (meh), we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Two Rivers. The staff was super nice and accommodating to our family of 5, giving us a nice big table so we could spread out. My husband ordered a beer flight based on the server's recommendations, and it did not disappoint. I throughly enjoyed the sangria flight. Since the server hit it out of the park with beer, we followed his advice for lunch and ordered the peanut butter bacon burger and Rath's Deli's Spanakopita Chicken Burger - they were amazing! The rosemary frites and duck fat frites were on point as well!! Typically, I would stop here, feeling that the kids' meals were not worth mentioning; however, Two Rivers doesn't leave kids out in the flavor department. My older son loved his homemade battered corn dog and rosemary frites, while my younger son loved his cheese quesadilla. Thanks for the best meal on our vacation Two Rivers! We are happy to recommend, and hopefully return (just not to Crayola). read more

My husband and I stopped in on our way from NY to Pittsburgh. We didn't have a reservation but we were able to snag seats at the bar on a Friday evening. They offer the full menu at the bar which was a pleasant surprise. We got a flight--also awesome-- and chose beers based off of the samples. We liked both IPAs offered as well as one of their pale ales and a stout. I'm not usually into stouts but this one had a really good flavor profile. As for food, we shared the chili, duck fat fries, and Nashville chicken. I can't lie, we demolished the chili. The Nashville chicken was on point--traditional Nashville style. I wish we had room for dessert...maybe on another road trip! read more

I wanted to try this place after seeing the reviews. We went for lunch..not a big menu. We all had burgers which were very good. We had a party of 8 and they kindly let us split the bill however the service was terrible (which seems to be the norm nowadays) but they added 20% gratuity and while I normally always tip 20% I was annoyed as the service was no where near worth it. Two Rivers may be my new favorite burger joint in the Lehigh Valley! We went for the first time on a beautiful spring day and sat in their outdoor seating area. Since it was our first time, our waitress was extremely helpful in recommending beverages and food. We opted for a flight with the following brews: Pine St. Blonde, Bankers Brown Ale, Colonel Left Eye IPE, and Dutchtown DIPA. As a lover of IPAs, I preferred the DIPA as it had the perfect combination of hops and unique fruit flavors including papaya and watermelon. As a main course, I ordered the burger they are most known for- The Peanut Butter Bacon Cheddar Burger. It was AMAZING! I was hesitant to be so adventurous, but with the raving reviews from our waitress, I went for it! The peanut butter was not overwhelming and added a bit of something special. The smoked bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and red onions complemented the burger well! I seriously can't wait to have it again! read more

Very good beer, with a huge selection of beer in every category. (Not just 25 hazy IPAs...) Their food menu seems to change often, and I was very happy to see dedicated vegan options. I hate having to alter things on the menu to reflect my dietary restriction. At one point there was a winter squash based vegan Mac and cheese that was EXCELLENT. Met some friends from the area here last night. It's their "go to spot" and it did not disappoint! Service was amazing and the atmosphere was great as well. My wife and I are vegan and they had several options. We started with the pickled plate which was great. We each had the spicy corn and black bean chili and it was amazing. I got the vegan cauliflower Mac and cheese and she got the vegan black bean and chickpea burger with Brussel sprouts. Heaven! The beers were awesome also. Pricing is expensive but at same level with surrounding, higher- end establishments in Easton. The only detraction is the seriously sparse parking, as the restaurant is on North Hampton at. Searching for the best restaurants led me a 5 minute walk to Two Rivers. We were greeted twice by two different servers. The man was very upbeat the women not so much at first. I get it we are not the typical bar goer (Me and my toddler) but it's also a restaurant. We were seated near a window which was a perfect view and help kill time before our food came out, we practiced our colors. It was pretty slow 3 tables including ours so we were checked on often. My pulled pork sandwich (with a delicious fried pickle) really hit the spot and was a perfect contrast to my dutch double IPA. I chose a house salad with white vinaiggrette as my side and it was amazing, almost made me wish I had ordered a salad. My daughters kids meal was a hot dog (with a choice of side) she had french fries and a drink all for $5. The female bartender eventually warmed up. Overall, the service and food met my expectations. There is a unisex restroom to the right of the entrance with a changing table. Also, tables outside for warmer days. It was a plus that I was able to park near the crayola factory (my reason for being in the area) and walk to the restaurant. On my way back I refed the meter. read more

Arrived on a Tuesday evening for a 7:30PM reservation and the restaurant was pretty full. It was VERY loud in the restaurant but we were seated in a very nice two-top table by the window. I enjoyed a glass of wine and my bf tried their Banker's Brown Ale on tap which he really enjoyed. We decided to start our dinner off with 2 appetizers... unfortunately they were out of the NOLA Chicken Dip which I was really looking forward to. Ended up ordering the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers and the fried mac n cheese. The jalapenos were the star of the night! They were delicious -they are definitely a must try! The fried mac n cheese was good but needed to be a bit hotter and crispier (seemed to be room temp). But flavors were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the Braised Short Rib sandwich and the Rajun Cajun burger (cooked medium). Substituted our fries for the duck fat fries and we were not disappointed (I believe it was an upcharge of $2?) - they weren't the best truffle/romano cheese fries I've ever had but they had a nice flavor. Burger cooked perfectly and the toppings were well thought out and unique. Boyfriend's short rib sandwich fell short of his expectations. Meat was on the tougher side. There were chunks of the short rib that was very chewy and tough. Would not order again even though the flavors were on point. For dessert we ordered the apple cider donuts... which came deep fried. We weren't expecting them to be deep fried (not mentioned on the menu) and would've probably ordered something else if we knew in advance. I wouldn't exactly call them regular cider donuts... they were more along the lines of zeppoles or fried donut holes covered with apple cider cinnamon sugar with a side of caramel sauce. But the donuts were good! They were nice and soft on the inside with a nice outer crunch from the deep dry. Service was good, waitress was friendly and regularly checking in on us. She was a bit busy handling multiple tables. Our main entrees took a bit more time but we didn't mind since we had appetizers and it allowed for a bit more digesting time. While visiting a friend in Lancaster County last summer, we took a day trip to Easton PA. I'd never been in the area before so of course a few brewery stops were planned. Two Rivers Brewing Company was unfamiliar to me. I have to admit, I was pulled in by the logo (a very American looking logo with a beer-holding founding father type standing next to a Native American) and further research had me curious. We walked up Northampton Street and arrived shortly after opening on a lovely summer day. The exterior of the building (an old hotel restored by Two Rivers Brewing Company) is a beauty in itself. Inside is just as lovely. We took a couple seats at the bar and proceeded with a flight. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. While there were 11 beers total on tap during our visit, the flight consists of a choice of 5. We went with Easton Uber Alles Alt, Gallows Hill Amber Ale, Bankers Brown Ale, Free Bridge Belgian Tripel and Danny Mann Irish Stout. (A current look at their draft list online does not show all these beers as available.) Overall the beers surprised me with a lot of flavor. The Belgian Tripel (at 9%) and the Irish Stout (on nitro) got a thumbs up. Because we had recently enjoyed breakfast at another establishment, we did not order any food. But after reading about the food and seeing pictures, I feel like this may have been a mistake. Breakfast was good, but next time we'll enjoy the menu at Two Rivers. read more

I was very impressed with the beer and the food at Two Rivers! This place is serving the most yummy and innovative foods you can find around town, and the beer isn't too bad either! My only issue was the service, which was slow and inattentive. Too bad, because I think this could have been 5 stars! Came here with my new husband and the in-laws for a family dinner and drinks. The restaurant is very loud, but that might be because it was popping on weekday night. We started with a few beers, and all of them were amazing, but I particularly loved their triple and their rye IPA. The cocktails were ok, but a little sweet for my taste. For an appetizer, we got the chicken dip which was super tasty, and kind of reminded me of my own buffalo chicken dip that I cook for barbeques. It wasn't spicy at all, but it was pretty garlicky, so maybe not something to order if you plan on cuddling up on a date! For dinner I got the mussels and duck fat fries (definitely recommend you upgrade to the duck fat fries, they were the bomb dot com!), while my husband ordered half a pound of bacon (OMG!) with cheesy grits, brussels, and a fried egg. He definitely had the best meal of the night! His bacon was VERY rich, but extra flavorful and smoky, and the grits were the cheesiest I have ever had. We ate everything on the plate, it was so good (but now of course we need to work out for like six hours to work it off). My mussels were not as good...They tasted burnt, or like something in the sauce was burnt, so I mostly just ate the fries. Service was a bummer. Our waitress was slow as heck, and our food took a very long time to get to us. Even our beers took forever, and I don't like running low on drinks while I'm eating. Also, we were there on weekday around 6 and ordered a round of drinks for four people, which should have fallen under their happy hour prices ($4 beers for happy hour, 4-7pm). By the time we left, it was around 8pm, but we were charged full price for those happy hour drinks. When I asked our waitress about it, she said that she would fix it, but it's not her fault because normally "happy hour is by request only in the dining room", whatever that means. So, I guess, if you want happy hour prices you should definitely check your bill and make sure they add it (SHADY). Overall, I would go back for the food, but maybe next time I would sit at the bar to avoid the dining room service. read more

Wow, what a treat. The lady and I stopped in here for a quick lunch on the way to a wedding and it was a total 5 star experience. Make sure you top up on pints and growlers, because the beer is only available there! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and shown to a 2 top in the middle of the place which is part dining section part bar. The is very old school cool with lots of wood trim and no flash. Not the biggest place, but big enough. The place is bright with large windows for lots of sunlight, and has a bar on one side and on the other is a little counter with t-shirts and other TR schwag. Our wonderful waitress gave us beer menus which had their flagship beers (I think there were 4 or 5) and their seasonals of which there were probably 12 or so. My girlfriend had the Saison and I had the Coffee Lager, which was probably the best coffee based beer I've ever had (I'm a big fan of coffee porters and stouts). We indicated that we were also interested in getting a growler or two and the waitress offered to get us some free samples. While sipping our beers, we took a look at the food menu which while it seemed a bit small, it wasn't lacking in options. We decided to both go with burgers and duck fries based on reviews we had read online. My girlfriend got the regular cheese burger and I got the Peanut Butter Bacon Cheeseburger... WOW! My burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the toppings worked together in perfect harmony. There was just the right amount of each topping so no taste drowned the other out. The sweet-savory combo of the bacon and peanut butter is very well done here. Also, the duck fat fries were perfect. They were thick enough to have a soft smooth center with a perfectly crisp, crunchy shell. There was an herb-cheese seasoning on the fries and they were served with an aioli dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was good, but to be honest I didn't even need it. After finishing our burgers, we sampled 5 of the beers. If I recall correctly, it was the blonde, the IPA, the stout, the pilsner, and the farmhouse ale. All of the beers were at least average or better, but the Farmhouse Ale was just top notch. It was very aromatic, with a smooth finish and just a soft bite. It reminded me of a farmhouse all the Victory brewing in Downingtown, PA had once. After 2 beers, 2 burgers w/ duckfat fries, and 2 new filled growlers (blonde and farmhosue), the damage was about $80 which I think is very fair. This was one of the best brew-pub experiences I've ever had. If you're in Easton, you gotta check this place out! read more
