To start, I have to admit I hesitated several times prior to writing this review. I first hesitated with our appetizer ....bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños...... the jalapeños were not only spectacular - they were unique - most noteworthy was their presentation- The jalapeños were comfortably bathing is a Brussels sprout/onion/ reduced onion jelly! After the appetizer I wanted to write my review! I was so enamored with my jalapeños- I wanted to begin my literary praise! I hesitated, it was more like looking twice before crossing a street. I felt as if the burger I had ordered would never live-up to the jalapeño appetizer, deciding to wait till my burger was delivered before passing a FIVE STAR rating to Two Rivers Brewery. AMAZING- a tern generally reserved for Caribbean Sunsets,, the birth of our children and internal combustion engines......has a new situational application....... Wait for it......The Two Rivers Peanut Butter Bacon Cheddar Burger!!! This is not your ordinary burger, no-sir! This is the burger you drive all day to experinece ! The blended flavors are magic....... this is art! I have to admit I had my doubts- after all if peanut butter belonged on burgers, why hadn't I heard of this before? I had come all this way for the Peanut Butter Bacon Cheddar Burger and by-god, that was what I would order! Do they issue United States patents on burgers... if so "Call the USPTO"! Our food was matched by the service we received. Our server, Sarah, was patient, knowledgeable and most of all patient! Sarah, knew the menu, the food, the beers and a little of the building's history. Hats off to the Two Rivers's Brewery! After a million hours of hiking, this spot hit the spot. Affable waitress. Huge beer selection. Delicious wings and sliders. Outdoor seating with tons of social distancing and staff with masks on. Lots of bikers, yuppies, and families. America. You can only do this in America. read more

Stopped by during a day trip. First time being back here since COVID. Besides menu via phone it is pretty much the same as I remember. We had three tasty beers and two lunch plates; all good. The gose was an outstanding beer. I got the Smoked Avacado Grilled Cheese with bacon and duck fat fries. Besides being a seriously sized sandwich, it was epically tasty; highly recommend it! Wife got the bacon chopped salad. Both dishes were generously salted, which is to be expected for the bacon/fries. It was good, how I like it, but might be something to consider when you pick your meals if you are trying to take it easy on the sodium. I loved the duck fries and I can't wait to sneak into the leftovers later. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food and beer service was at a good pace. It was a Monday afternoon so they were not super busy, can't comment on other times. Will come again if we have some time Easton. read more

Welcome staff never seems friendly, which is why I give this 3-stars and no longer stop in frequently, even though I am local- it's too expensive to feel unwelcome. Food is reliably good which makes this a shame- if the staffing demeanor changed it would be a 5-star place in my book. Duck fat fries are 100% worth ordering, as is the brussel sprout salad, which used to be substantially topped but I've noticed has dwindled a bit in terms of portioning since 2020. They have thick table bread and delicious whipped butter with things like cinnamon sugar that really set it off. They make a very good peanut butter burger that is fun to try and balanced in terms of flavor, but can be a little over-hyped compared to some of the other food on the menu and in town. Ambiance has a classic gastro pub/brewery feel, and the location has some great American history. Order some food, but don't be surprised if you're not feeling friendly vibes when you walk inside. read more

We had such a nice time here. Our waiter Calvin was terrific and did a wonderful job taking care of us. All staff was wearing masks (over their noses too) and did a great job of frequently sanitizing the table. Calvin let us sample many beers before we ultimatley decided on what we wanted. All of the beers were tasty (although the carbonation could have been slightly improved) and for food we had the jalapeno hush puppies and the pot stickers. It was comfortable dining outside and the tables were properly social distanced and there was ample hand sanitizer that we could use. Will for sure like to visit here again if we find ourselves in Easton. read more

Cute little dive bar/brewery, with excellent food. The beer was average, the watermelon sour was a little artificial tasting, everything else was pretty basic styles. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I was debating getting the peanut butter burger with pepper jam and bacon, our waiter let us know that the pepper jam is made in house, and that the burger won best in the lehigh valley, I had to try it. I was not disappointed, the burger was cooked perfectly to temp, juicy, and an explosion of flavor. The duck fat fries were tasty, but I wish they were thinner and crispier (but that is just my preference). Since it was craft beer week, the waiter also let us know that there was a deal on a special collaboration flight. A bunch of breweries in the lehigh valley were teamed up and they pulled 2 random ingredients out of a hat (ended up being cumin and melon). Pretty cool idea. read more

Taking off a start for poor customer service. My fiancé and I wanted to return to Two Rivers with some friends of ours because we really enjoyed our experience last time. I called ahead to make a reservation for 4 people outside, and I was told by the guy on the phone that there was no need to make a reservation and they'd see us soon. We got to the restaurant and the hostess asked us if we had a reservation. I explained the exchange I had with the individual over the phone, and she told us that we could take a table outside but it may be a bit until we get served because they had a rush come in due to a show at the state theatre. We said no problem, and went to sit outside at a table. Not 10 minutes later, a woman comes over to our table and tells us "You can't be sitting here. We aren't seating until 7:00." Mind you, it was 6:37 at this time. I assume this woman is either front of house or the manager. I told her that we had been allowed to sit by the hostess and that I had attempted to make a reservation over the phone for Katy. She reiterated they weren't seating until 7. At that point I was getting pretty POed. This woman approached us very sternly, and we were taken aback by how abrupt she and combative she was. After she left, the table sitting across from us apologized and told us we were welcome to share their food, which we politely declined. Our drink and food orders were taken in a timely fashion by the hostess who had given us our table. Props to her and the busser for attending to us. The manager (?) who had confronted us earlier also ended up even bringing our food to our table and did not apologize (awkward). Later at the end of the evening, our hostess told us in the future to insist to make a reservation anyway even if the person over the phone tells us it is not needed. That is fair; however, for one, I am not a mind reader. Two, it is not the customer's responsibility to account for miscommunications amongst restaurant staff. My friends and I also feel that the manager could have handled our interaction so much better because we felt attacked, and even the table across from us made remarks likewise. In short, we are very perturbed by this experience and will think twice about returning. read more

What a great place. It is in a historic building with a great view of downtown. We were there for a "Camp Out" meet and greet/Tea Dance. Been here a few times but today was definitely the last time for us. Beers aren't that good, wish they were. They leave alot to be desired. The food has always been mediocre at best but tonight everyone food was horrible. The short ribs were so salty they were inedible. Burgers over cooked. Soups were really salty too. Kids wouldn't touch the Mac and cheese, I tasted it and it was bad as well, tasted like flour.. Sad bc this place has potential. read more

It was an extremely hot day in August when my parents and I wanted to grab a bite to eat. We were also hoping to get a break from the heat. It wasn't too crowded and we were seated right away. I ordered a flight of beer to start. However, we quickly realized that there was barely any AC and we were sweating. This isn't how we wanted to enjoy a meal so we told the waitress we weren't ordering food. She was then very rude after that and basically ignoring us!! We couldn't believe. It took an eternity to even get our check. My dad was so hot he ended up leaving and sitting in our car with the AC going. The beer was good but our experience was not which is really disappointing. I know it's an old building but the AC should still be working and we shouldn't be treated poorly for not ordering food. read more

I almost never give 5 stars! My self and 3 friends were visiting a certain famous Guitar maker a few miles away. Using Yelp in this unknown area helped us to find this place. OMG all of our food (I had the buffalow burger with duck fat fries) was so good. The home made Brews so good. The staff was friendly and extremely helpfull and acomidating . They insisted we try some of the Brews. Everything was excellent. Once i found out the the building was a former bordello i felt at home (apparently they no longer offer that service) the space with its original tin ceilings and floor. Was terrific. Also they have a vintage bar from sears! We can't wait to go back. read more

We stopped by one Wednesday before St Patrick's Day to enjoy some lunch. The beer selection consists of all things brewed by local businesses and so, I ordered a FLIGHT from long list of selections. There are seasonal choices and the standard ongoing selections. I'll remember to try the seasonal brews to make sure I try them before they are no longer available. The burger was quite a mouthful, loaded with special sauce and toppings for great flavor. Those "house made" French fries were not fresh cut but frozen because the inside looked and tasted just like they were old. Only complaint. I'll eat fresh fries and if not, I'll order a substitute side dish The hubs ordered the poutine bowl and although it was those same frozen fries topped with short rib meat and gravy. Too salty all around. The chef should consider that processed foods contain salt and it's easy to sprinkle more than necessary. Our server was just average. We were only diners and I'm thinking she was saving her energy for all the night growlers! Overall, once and done; we may return with friends to try new brews! read more

My BLTA was excellent. (Avocado was so fresh) Blackbean burger was ok. Hushpuppies were ... unique but not what we were expecting (think frenchtoast rolled into a ball) Pb burger didn't go over too well (Picked wrong) - peanut brittle ruined it. You figure a burger and a salad should not take 45 minutes to get to your table after ordering it, but ours did. The 'crispy brussles sprouts' were anything but and they were cold. They were supposed to be warn on the salad. The cheeseburger arrived on a cold bun and the cheese was adhered to the patty as it was sitting under the heat lamp for probably 30 minutes. It was to be medium rare - more along the limes of medium well to well and flavorless. Lovely tin ceilings and a nice atmosphere. I am hoping this was a one off. I so wanted to like this place--and I'd still like to leave a stellar review--but not on the basis of the meal I had. Staff had mislabeled someone else's order as mine and although they straightened that out quickly, I might have had a better meal if they hadn't. I ordered a burger, medium rare, with a side of "Belgian-style frites." Unfortunately, the burger was nowhere near the temperature I'd ordered--in fact, it was medium well and flavorless to boot. Stopped in on a weeknight after taking our toddler to Crayola Experience. The Yelp reviews weren't wrong. Called ahead to make sure there wasn't a long wait and they said they'd save us a table. Five minutes later we were seated immediately, although there were plenty of people in on a Tuesday night. The server expertly handled our kiddo needs. Made sure she was ok with a house made Mac and cheese (yes!) and brought her food out a little ahead of ours. The carrot sticks on the kids menu came out as slices with ridges - a cute touch. No beer expert, but I like a sour and the blueberry gose delivered on flavor. Appreciated the chance to have a sample before ordering. Crowlers and growlers available to go if you really love what you try. Hubs was happy with a burger special and the Belgian frites. My bacon chopped salad was excellent, especially the Brussels sprouts. Everything I saw come out of the kitchen looked fabulous and the servers were asking smart questions and easily handled substitution requests. Original plans were to stop by Bank Street Creamery for ice cream after, but then we saw a few desserts delivered and that Bank Street's ice cream was on the menu and stayed. Adults split the blueberry lemon cheesecake bread pudding - delightful and just enough to split without feeling stuffed. Kiddo had a scoop of vanilla ice cream and the bite I stole made us think about stopping for ice cream anyway. Wow.. visiting my brother and it turned into a mini family get together. Decided to host lunch and this place was recommended. I tried the peanut butter bacon cheddar burger. Sounds gross but all I can say is WOW. YOU'VE got to try it. Juicy, tender, packed with flavor. Whoever discovered this combination needs a metal. He was hilarious, friendly but also didn't take himself too seriously and that is so hard to find at a brewery these days. Tried out two rivers for the first time last week. Really thought the menu looked great and picked out Nashville hot chicken, pig and fig flatbread, guacamole grilled cheese and beer braised pulled pork. First when I tried to order at 4:30 I was told the kitchen was closed and call back in a half hour. Ok no biggie. Call at 5. I get told to order online. I pull it up and it isn't accepting orders. I was told wait 5 min and try again. I guess this is how they handle pick up orders? Anyway order food, and get to eating. Hot Chicken was decent but go to eat the bread....mold on the bottom of the bread. I don't know if they haven't been busy or not but you need to check this regardless. For bread to get mold on it. It had to not be stored well or not used for a bit. Definitely wasn't fresh. The remaining food didn't have any major issues, however for the most part it lacked any punch of flavor. Flavors were more or less muted on the dishes. You can tell it was trying to come out but it just got lost along the way. The one shining light of the experience was the pickled veggies. These were fantastic and I have awarded 1 pity star to at least shine some sort of positivity on an overall subpar experience. read more

First time trying duck fries and they were amazing. Also, love the old building and staff was very good. Definitely will come back when we are in the area as we are from Virginia Beach. The family and I had a nice lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. I highly recommend the Chopped Bacon Salad which comes with apples, blue cheese, candied nuts (I omitted those), bourbon raisins, bacon and roasted Brussels sprouts with a bacon dressing. The Brussels sprouts were the star of the show, roasted to crispy perfection and the dressing was phenomenal. There was a slight kitchen snafu with my salad coming out with an item I omitted due to an allergy. The server was extremely apologetic and my new salad was made quickly. The parents had the hog wings and sliders which were both great. The hog wings are generous in size and very tasty with a chili blueberry sauce, which may sound strange but very yummy. I recently went with some friends on a Saturday late-morning and the only seating they had available was for two high-tops pushed together. Everything else was reserved by larger groups. But! The food and beer were so good that we didn't really care. Their beer is excellent and we all enjoyed trying each others' flights. The food menu has an okay selection of vegetarian items - be vigilant about what you are ordering, because their fries and some of the appetizers are cooked in duck fat. I had a truly amazing pimiento grilled cheese sandwich topped with a fried pickle. It was so good, and not overly salty as some pimiento cheese can be. My friend ordered an open-faced grilled cheese and was highly disappointed because it was like bread topped with salad. He reported that it was tasty, but it was very difficult to eat - especially at the cramped high-top. Another friend ordered the chili-cheese fries and said they were wonderful, and another friend loved the peanut butter bacon burger. None of us had room for dessert, though the dessert menu looked fantastic. We will have to come back another time to try it! read more

Had an amazing experience last night a Two Rivers. We made a reservation for 530. Unfortunately we had a family emergency and couldn't make it. My brother spoke to the manager Wendy. Wendy said shed give us a reservation for 8. We showed asked for Wendy and she sat us. Wendy was up front about the kitchen being backed up. The place was packed. She explained it could be an hour wait for food. We were starving. However, we were in a brewery, had a DD, so we said we'd start drinking. Wendy sent our waitress over. We were waited on by Nico. She was awesome. She got us a flight of beer and we were off. My brother and I tried the Lager, Stout, Blanc, Mango, and Old Tyme. The mango, blanc, and Old were delicious. The lager was ok, and I didn't care for the stout. My wife got two large bottles of the Chardonnay Saison. The chard was really good. The food was also very good. We tried the pork board, duck fritts, and fig and pork flat bread. The pork board and flat bread were so delicious. For entrees we had the peanut butter burger and chicken burger. We shared the burgers. The peanut butter burger was really good and cooked a perfect medium rare. My sister in law said the chicken burger was one of the best she had. Our overall experience was great at Two Rivers. Thanks to Wendy and Nico for turning a stressful day into a fun evening. I rarely leave bad reviews, but everything was off from service to food. My wife and I pretty much never leave 0 tip but we did here. I ordered the burger medium and it wasn't just overcooked, it was hard on the outside and dry on the inside (see picture); I am normally not picky with doneness in burgers as it is ground beef. As long as it isn't dry I won't complain. Whoever sent this burger out didn't care or doesn't know how to cook - I could tell before even taking one bite, just by looking and touching it, that it was waaay overdone. My wife's burger was the same result; although she ordered it well done, it was still cooked too long. We waited for a long time for the food and our server didn't offer a refill on my soda - if someone was waiting for a while, look at their glass. Sure I could have asked, and it would be nit-picky if this was the only thing wrong for me to complain about; but, we were rarely checked in on. When we said we wanted ketchup, she came out with one of those tiny white cups for 2 people that ordered burgers and fries and said they (both) needed ketchup? Again, I could have asked, but we didn't feel like waiting any longer and wanted to just eat and leave. The only reason I didn't leave 1 star is because the manager (I think) came over and apologized, and took half off the check. read more

Had a wonderful day in Easton on Saturday. It all started with some lunch at Two RiversBrewing. What a quaint place. We had a flight and asked for suggestions on food. We took her advice and had a specialty salad with Brussels sprouts, bourbon infused raisin Granny Smith apples and bacon. Flavortown! It was amazing . As for the Peanut butter and jelly burger. Who would ever put those combinations together but wow....delicious and they know how to cook a burger perfectly. Very happy and will be returning. We live close to the Quakertown location but they do not serve food at that location, just beer. Awesome day in Easton! read more

First of all this place is an historic hotel. The place is very cool looking. The food is good. The Vegan hamburger made with lentils and beans is good not super great. The inside is loose not firm like a burger and the taste is good not blow your mind great. The gumbo is very hearty and is very tastey. The desserts like the doughnut balls are great and they give you a lot. The cheesecake was super good. You're far from home. You're in the middle of a blizzard. You've only had some not-that-hot-chocolate and a chocolate cookie (from the Polar Express train ride across the river in NJ). The family is getting cranky and needing food. You tap on your Yelp app to find 'nearby' and see 5 stars and it's less than a mile away and you trudge through the snow and happy that one of the few establishments still open is the restaurant you're trying to find. Thank you Yelp. This is why you rule. You guided me and the family to this fine restaurant and although it's a long hike from my home - I'm already thinking about going back. Peanut butter bacon cheese burger you say?! (Years ago after watching Top Chef I attempted peanut butter mashed potatoes but let's not relive that nightmare.) It was killer. My better half isn't even a fan of steak but was tempted by their steak special and the 2+ hour ride back home she couldn't stop reliving how good it was and wondering why other places just can't make a steak like them. Crazy delicious French fries with all sorts of seasonings. And really good "kids menu" items as well. A really amazing bread (that crust could make a Mormon untuck their white button-down shirt) and spread. And top-notch beers that were tempting me to drink a few more and hand my car keys over to my kids (their combined age would only be 10 but I think that's the legal driving age in PA, right?). We had their IPAs and mango blonde. i had the phill burger (medium) which was cooked perfectly and very juicy and tasty. my wife had the shrimp and grits which she loved. We will be back. read more
