Dryer yet styles are available too like the Dry English and TCH which has hops ("triple hopped cider", not weed). Strawberry jam is on the sweeter side and is a favorite among the crew. Two rivers is our go to spot! I love that they're super dog friendly and welcoming to my year old covid raised puppy in need of socializing. The cider is AMAZING they're always coming out with new flavors which makes us excited to always come back. The staff is always so friendly and helpful ready for assist you with anything you may need from cider recommendations to bringing you out a fire pit to your table on a cold night. Two rivers also has incredible bands and I love how diverse and unique they are. Not only does two rivers have great music they also have some fun activities like yoga, triva night, open mic night, line dancing, ect. I used to be all about cider - I wouldn't even touch beer. Then, over the years, my palate has shifted and I find myself more of a beer girl these days. But alas, I couldn't resist trying this local cider spot, giving the breweries a run for their money. My boyfriend, who hates cider, played nice and accompanied me. But even he found a cider that he enjoyed - their Habanero cider. There were literally so many different ciders on tap, I couldn't decide just one to try .... so I ended up getting two separate flights. The flights were $8 and came with 4 different tastings of your choice. I tried: mandarin, pink lady, huckleberry, pomegranate, habanero, blueberry, raspberry, and blood orange. I really enjoyed ALL of them but my favorite was probably pink lady. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well as tons of different card games and board games to play while you hang out. They have corn hole and it seems like a rotating food truck schedule. Awesome place to visit and I cannot wait to come back some time soon. read more

Two Rivers Cider Company has been quietly growing their business over the years, and their taproom located in Carleton Tract near Sacramento City College is a welcome alternative to the ever growing beer scene. Their taproom is decently sized with limited parking and several helpful street signs pointing you in the right direction. I will always remember when I asked a friend to pick up some hard cider from the store, and he returned with a gallon jug of apple juice and a confused look. Around the world, cider is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented apple juice, and Two Rivers uses the local apples to create a tasty and refreshing cider. The taproom has several of their specialty brews including different apple varietals and several experimental options including hopped and flavored ciders. The taproom has all the modern mancave trappings including skee ball and several televisions for the big game. There is a decent patio for use during good weather and the occasional food truck. I loved going here!! There was a good variety of hard ciders to drink and a laid-back, hippie-ish vibe with murals and succulents. I had to try out the line dancing event and was not disappointed! If you're going to visit, keep in mind that the buildings are open-air, not completely closed and air-conditioned (though there was some AC in the area where you order, and some big fans in the larger event area). I got too sweaty while dancing, so I probably won't try that again until the weather is cooler. read more

Really like this place. I got the flight so I could try a few different kinds of cider, and the settled on the walnut one for a pint. I don't normally love cider but I'd drink this one anytime. The tasting room also has fun indoor and outdoor space, where dogs are welcome and you can hang and play a board game or two. The only suggestion I have is to maybe get some lights outside near the picnic tables (or maybe there were some and they just didn't turn on? Not sure). Tons of cider options available, TV's to watch US soccer, free skeet ball machine to play with, tons of board games (oversized ones too), a food cart (hot dogs, gross), and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating for the masses...and their kids. Another adult beverage spot that is family and pet friendly in Sacramento. I think the nice market has come to realize that although the adults love to partake in libations, they also love to bring their entire family, pets included, a long for the fun. They take card, YAS! It isn't a huge location, but they have everything you'd ever need...bathrooms included on that list. It's no frills, but you don't need that if you have good company and good drank! The ciders are less sweet than I'm used to buying at the store, but they were still tasty. One literally tasted like perfume, which was really gross. But their selection is huge, so I'm guessing if you ask for a taste before you order a glass, they'd oblige. The inside area has a good amount of tables for seating and some games you can bring back and play at your table. The outside is more spacious and where we spent our time! Loved this quaint local cider spot close to Sacramento City College. There was ample parking (but only one bathroom) and the vibe inside the warehouse was chill and laidback. There was even someone spinning records which was pretty cool. The most interesting part was the pop up pupusa joint right outside on the patio area. This is definitely not your average cider maker tasting room. The layout of wooden benches and outdoor seating isn't unique but they got two skee-ball lanes that are just plain addictive. I have memories of going to Dave and Buster's and spending dollars over dollars just to be able to practice my skee-ball technique. Here I was able to do it for free with the price of a cider flight or two. I liked how they had a lot of fruit forward flavors with sweetness and some other dryer less sweet varieties. I combined both within the two cider flights so to give my palate a bit of a variety of each kind. Flights were reasonably priced and I even got a full pint of the ginger cider since I was on a ginger obsession at that time. The guys behind the counter were really quick with serving as well as information on each selection. Probably only downside was that this is a bit out of the way from the main roads/freeways. It's almost like a secret that everybody doesn't know about. Now that I know about it, I will likely come back here if I'm not too far away or am in the area. read more

Great ciders in an awesome tasting room! They make a wide variety of great fruit flavors and sometimes non-fruit flavors like nut based or even herbed based like ginger or THC. I've tried multiple ciders here: apple, pear, huckleberry, blood orange, strawberry jam, etc... and they've all been really good. Flavors are spot on and the ciders are not too sweet. Definitely my favorite cider place in Sacramento! I always enjoy coming here because it's a cool, relaxing place to hang out. There are lots of games and 2 skee ball machines. The staff here are super friendly and always willing to provide samples. They're dog-friendly and have plenty of bike parking! It would be selfish of me to keep this place from anyone. My god, yes, it's probably the only cider tasting room in Sacramento, but they do it justice! The owner also brewmaster based on my guesstimate, is spot on. From the technique to the taste, nothing short of spectacular. I mean, I love craft beers, but I don't have those cravings like I have for this place sometimes. The tasting room employees are always so friendly and passionate of the product. I honestly can't say I have a favorite, so every time I go, I get the flight, then I get a pint of my favorite at that moment. They are also experimenting with some wine as well... As we drove up it was such a cool little compound. Eclectic bikes, skeetball, and table soccer. And this was before we even got to the Cider! My wife and I ordered a flight of 10 ciders. ( they had a selection of 15 on tap ) We then proceeded to play a game of elimination as we drank trying to come up with each of our #1's. This was the result: Her Number One- Huckleberry My Number One- Pomegranate I purchased an insulated Growler of Pomegranate for the road. A wonderful Saturday experience! Some of my favorites are Pomegranate, walnut, blackberry, and strawberry jam. Mixing ciders is fantastic as well. Walnut and blackberry together is dangerously good. Please make sure you take an Uber home from this place because it's so good it's very easy to drink a lot.
