What a great addition to the local craft tasting rooms. Vince has been been a leader in area cider for quite some time. He is also very involved in the local community. He has never been afraid to push the boundaries of creativity. The results are most always great stuff. Sure I have had a couple duds, but really he stays after it and I find that admirable and impressive. I used to stop by an get a growler fill from time to time of whatever they had available. Now the variety of options with the taproom is amazing. The staff was so friendly and though it was a warm day, with the fans blowing and the cold cider going down it was a perfect place to get fresh air and fresh cider on a summer day. I have a couple favorites that are go to options for me. This setup is great in that you can wander all over the variety of offerings. This is my fav place- ever! OK, almost ever. The ciders are not sweet like Angry Orchard and other off the shelf national brands. They are very flavorful and dry to very dry. My husband is a brewery kind of guy, but he enjoys the ciders that are not associated with fruit at Two Rivers also. The vibe is very laid back and I love playing skee ball. My dog is welcome and goes around making new friends on every visit. My dream job would be to pour cider here- kind of. BTW, they have Grateful Dead night once per month. I am not a Dead Head at all, hubby is. We went in December and expected a DJ to be spinning records. We were amazing surprised when there was a talented live band playing in the loft. They were awesome and ever a non Dead Head (me) enjoyed their music very much! The best tasting room hands down. Not to mention the best Cider I've ever had. Each time I come here I enjoy a pleasant conversation with the person pouring my drink. There's always something to munch on, and the bicycle collection here is fun to gawk at. The patrons are very easy to talk to should you like to, it's a really relaxed atmosphere. The ciders are amazing, many varieties, each better then the other. It's a bit hard to find the first time around, so pay attention to the map, because you need to find this place and enjoy yourself. ran into the friend that told me about this place so we hoofed over from the light rail station and had a drink (thanks to her husband, now I owe him) of the raspberry cider. Good stuff. Decent cider, and a really cool atmosphere tucked away in a South Sac neighborhood. Due to it's close proximity to Fountainhead and Track 7, it's a good stop for an industrial pub crawl. There is a large Jenga set, Foosball, skeeball, and other nice diversions that make this more than just another brewery in a storage unit. The tables are roomy and comfortable. They don't want you to just drink and leave! I had the pomegranate cider, but from what I understand the grapefruit cider is a fan favorite (I passed because I'd had too many grapefruit juice screwdrivers the night before for it to be appetizing). Perhaps I'll try it on the next super-hot day. I'll definitely be back, and appreciate that they have cans of their brew to purchase as well. Gotta be honest, I not big on dry ciders, but the people here are very nice and inviting and the total vibe is chill, it's a great place to relax even if you don't know anybody. I loved this place! It was a little tricky to find but once there we had a blast. There was live music, a food vendor which helped because I completely under estimated the strength if the delicious ciders. They go down waaaay too easy so beware...I tried the blood orange, yes the full size. Delish. Then the yuzu, then a combo of mango and habanero. All very refreshing until the alcohol caught up to me. This place is a place you go to just unwind and relax with friends and drink great cider. Pet and Kid friendly. You can bring your own card games or enjoy games they have here. Two Rivers is such a funky little hole in the wall. It's super laid back and unpretentious. It's one of the only cideries in the area and it by far has the most options. They have a selection of games to play and a huge record collection, plus they often have food trucks and live music on the weekends. My wife and I concluded our exploration of Sierra Foothills wineries with a stop at the Two Rivers Cider Company. For out-of-towners the location was tricky but our ultimate experience was outstanding. To call this a hidden gem is not doing it justice. Two Rivers seems to be a cross between a bike repair shop, Chucky Cheese and a cider bar. But when the host made change out of a box under the counter I knew immediately that Two Rivers Cider Company was a "find". We arrived a bit early to find a church event ongoing just outside the cidery so we spent some time browsing and chatting with the vendors. Very friendly bunch. As we approached the site a couple walking in front of us pointed Two Rivers out and provided an unsolicited compliment of the cider. The visit started out well. We purchased at least two cider flights .. four tasting per flight I believe. There were seven or eight ciders featured that day. All the ciders were good...from dry to sweet...flavorful, but nothing exceptional until we tried the Watermelon. During our all-too- brief stay stay we came back repeatedly for tastes of the Watermelon cider, but also fascinated with the story of its ad hoc formulation the day before. Not surprisingly Watermelon sold out while we stood at the bar and after repeated walk in customers made this wonderful find. As an emerging hard cider maker my quest is to replicate this amazing formulation. I hadn't drank much cider before coming to know about two rivers cider but once I got a taste of that pomegranate cider-I've been hooked ever since. There's also the huckleberry cider, the blood orange, the rasperry and a few other flavors that I know I'm forgetting but trust me-this is the good stuff. I got to enjoy some of the house ciders at a Friday night event during SAC Beer Week. The band was good, the pourers moderately knowledgeable (they both had tasted all of what was on tap) and of course the cider was fantastic! It was nice to see so many people supporting a local producer, We enjoyed seeing the bike collection, but we didn't get to meet Vince, the owner, to learn the story behind them. (He was a busy guy that night!) If you can meet them at local events or learn when Two Rivers will be open for special events, I certainly recommend going by and meeting the crew... while drinking great product! read more

Yummy ciders! It's not super sweet like Wyder's so don't expect to drink juice. I got two flights--each one is 4 for $8. You can taste it before you choose too. I liked all of them, especially the strawberry jam. It's even good if you mix and match some flavors together. There were board games, skeeball in the back room, live music and a rotating food truck. I love two rivers cider so when I found out they had a brewery I had to check it out. It's out in a odd location but there was plenty of parking. The inside was spacious with picnic bench style seating. There were all kinds of games to play and free skeeball. This is the worst place I have ever been to. We walked in and immediately revived bad customer service. We tried two samples and I went back to order a few drinks and was refused service. We had not been drinking before hand and she accused us of it then said she did not feel comfortable serving us and then said come back tomorrow. I went out to tell my friends and she came and took our samplers and said I need to confiscate these. We asked her again what we did wrong and she said one of us presented a fake ID we were all 21 years of age. Two Rivers has a lot to offer -- a funky and family-friendly outdoor vibe, great food trucks on weekends, interesting and talkative neighbors, fun local bands, an owner with a social conscience (he often donates product to local nonprofits or hosts nights where a nonprofit can take the mic for a few minutes and pitch for their org to receive funds)...oh, and they're the only tasting room in town that serves solely cider (which other folks are talking about in these reviews, but its very dry and not overly sweet). So, yeah, when I moved to the neighborhood, this quickly became one of my local go-tos that I used toto show off Sacramento to visiting friends. BUT, what moved me to actually write this yelp review today...well, it's not them, it's me (well, sorta). See, a few months ago, I got pregnant. Knocked up. Up a pole. In the family way. You know what I mean. And, of course, you also know what pregnant ladies really shouldn't do when it's a sunny Saturday afternoon and your friends are looking to hang out in a casual and fun environment, right? When you go to the other local breweries, and you ask for a nonalcoholic beverage, the bartender usually looks at you with pity and then says "well, I guess we have coke...or something." At a nearby brewery, I was recently directed to the vending machine around the corner. At Two Rivers, when I quietly asked if they had something a pregnant lady could drink, the bartender lit up -- sure, they did! They had a bunch of options, actually, from smoothies and sodas, to a handmade Italian soda crafted with flavored syrup (I chose blood orange, but saw 2-3 other options there as well) and sparkling water. It was literally the first time since I had gotten pregnant that I didn't feel like a total pariah while sitting with my friends at their chosen gathering point. I felt...celebratory. I felt...special. I happily sat in the sun and sipped my Italian Blood Orange Soda while they sipped their ciders, and considered myself fully content with my lot in life. Even before I was pregnant, I was sensitive to how fully alcoholic consumption has become part and parcel of our social fabric. There are a number of reasons people can't consume alcohol -- but does that mean those people are stuck sitting at home, or trying not to feel "less than" while nursing their glass of plain water? I know. It's a brewery. Their purpose is to sell beer or cider. But the non-drinkers walk among us, and the do, from time to time, interact with people who DO drink. To be able to come here and honor my health needs while also feeling like I am fully participating in my friends' ritual...it feels really good. The owner of Two Rivers once told me that he wanted to create a neighborhood place where the community could come together. He invests in the community at every level -- supporting local food trucks, local artists, local nonprofits. And, by making sure that he has a nonalcoholic option always on the menu for those of us who, for whatever reason, aren't imbibing, it's clear that he sees "community" as a bigger tent than just "people who drink his product." The ciders served here are good, but more importantly, the proprietor shows in many different ways that this is a place where everyone is welcome. And therefore, Two Rivers will hold my loyalty long after I have specific need of their Italian Sodas. read more
