Whenever we want a good burger we come here! We get the smash burgers that are always cooked to perfection & they come with fries which are absolutely delish! I also ordered a pineapple spicy margarita mocktail & it was so good. The service is always great here. The waitstaff is super attentive. We were one of the last ones to leave and the staff were not rushing us out.

This is my 400th Yelp Review! Two Robbers is one of my favorite local spots to dine outdoors. They don't have a long menu (which I like) but what they do have available is always really good. Their Adult Happy Meal is our go-to and a STEAL for $35pp for two burgers, one app to share and a bucket of the seltzers. The staff is friendly, the space is aesthetically, pleasing, indoor and out, and the food/drinks are great.

The Smashburger! Best burger in Fishtown!

The best smashburger I've had! I mean, I don't really have a reference because the only other official smashburger I've had is, well...at Smashburger. But this one was better (less greasy). And they came with a nice side of fries! Apparently the smashburger entrees are $10 (as opposed to $16) during their Smashburger Happy Hour on weekdays from 4PM-6PM. They should probably advertise this better, as they would probably get more people rolling through. Service was friendly and attentive. But I'm not sure how I feel about the decor. The interior paint color is bit off-putting, and it's giving a little bit of dark frat basement. Considering it is comparable in price to Shake Shack, this will probably be my first choice for local East Kenzo/Fishtown burgers. I'll be back!

Two Robbers in fishtown offers a relaxing vibe offering great cocktails and smash burgers. The menu is fairly offering burgers and fries but everything was delicious. Offering delicious fresh beef and toppings. They also have their own vodka setzlers you can purchase at their restaurant. Service was great and didn't have to wait too long for a table on a Saturday night. A great spot to get burgers and have a drink in fishtown. It also features a great big patio to enjoy on a day with great weather.

Two Robbers has a really nice ambiance. The space is aesthetically pleasing and the vibe is laid-back. The menu is simple, with tasty staples that are perfect for a casual meal. We both got the Two Robbers smash burger served with fries. The fries were delicious and the burgers were satisfying and cheesy. I love burgers so I'm a little biased, but this was a really good one. I also ordered a vodka soda that was fresh and crisp, super refreshing. I definitely want to come back during happy hour because the deal is dope. Our servers were nice and the service was quick and attentive.

Service was not the greatest. We were seated promptly but after 15 minutes of being sat we had to wave someone down to get a server. Still took an additional 10 before anyone came over. We both order a smash burger with fries. Excellent burger and fries!!! Also ordered their world famous martini and the old fashion. Very unimpressed. Stick to the vodka sodas and beer when coming here. Overall the ambiance and outdoor seating is what made the restaurant appealing but the food and drinks were just okay.

Awesome deal during happy hour! 4-6PM. $10 for a burger and ton of fries. $4 for the canned seltzers- pineapple one was really good. We added an extra $6 to make my order loaded fries. The smash burgers were delicious, crispy edges!

Really cool place, the overall experience was great. Do I think the food is overpriced for what it actually is ? Yes. The drinks were great & it's a good spot for a Friday night meal!

I mostly came here bc they were collabing with a coffee shop I enjoy, however, I feel like it just didn't hit the spot. Nothing was bad, but nothing really wowed me. Che Thai drink - need to have crushed ice. I was unable to get any of the fruit. The liquor they used also was pretty strong tasting so it threw it off a bit for me Scallop crudo - tasted fresh but a tad bland. Salmon kho - this was my favorite of all the dishes we tried. Flavorful. I would probably come back to try their standard menu esp since they got such great reviews.

Got sat right away with 2 at 6:30 on a Friday. Service was fast, drinks were delicious, and food was hot and tasty all for a good price. Plenty of outdoor seating. They don't take reservations but if you get here early in the night or right at the start of happy hour at 4 you should be alright.

Love everything here. The food, drinks, vibes, a good happy hour. Servers have always been really nice as well. Every time i am in Fishtown i am tempted to stop by!

It's the absolute best smash burger I have had here in Fishtown! If you come during happy hour, it's $10. The fries are also incredibly good--the ones that are fried twice, crispy outside and heavenly inside--drool! And then there's Chandler, one of the best bartenders we've ever had. She is friendly and knowledgeable and never forgets a name or a drink you like. The outside space is vast and great for groups. I almost didn't come here the first time as I'm not a fan of hard seltzer or seltzer in general, but don't let that stop you. They have a great bar bites menu, higher-end cocktails, beer, etc. It's such a chill environment that you'll come back, as we have, again and again! Family-friendly, too!

You'd be unlikely to find this unless you knew to look for it. The main feature of this bar is the cocktail menu; it's creative and ambitious and yet very approachable, with helpful adjectives for each cocktail. The Mango Sticky Rice made my jaw drop; not only did the juicy mango come through, but also somehow a sense of starchiness, while being entirely balanced with the liquor. Definitely some of the best cocktails in Philly. And the music and vibe is so cozy but lively; the live records spinning create a warm atmosphere that is not sleepy nor dancey, instead you'll find yourself tapping your feet and swaying in your seat while in deep conversation or just enjoyable contemplation. I have to shout out Carl and Brianna, who made our evening especially unforgettable. They guided us seamlessly through the menu, were so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Huge bar, giant wall of liquor bottles, dim lighting, and a cool old-school vibe. I told the bartender that ordering a beer in a place like this felt like I was insulting him. He laughed and told me not to worry about it. The drink special was called "Naked and Famous," which honestly sounded like the perfect cocktail to order in honor of Jen. But then I spotted a dark beer on the menu that sounded too good to pass up. If you follow me, you know I'm slowly becoming a dark beer guy. I liked it a lot. The sandwich special was a cheesesteak. Sorry, I should've taken a picture of the menu. But I really enjoyed it, and for $18 it came with a mountain of seasoned fries, which feels like a bargain these days. Bomb Shell: the two people working absolutely crushed it. I don't know if they were understaffed or if Monday night got busier than expected, but they were working their tails off the entire time. I ordered guacamole and chips for appetizers and it came out right away. The chips are fresh and not stale. Good amount of guacamole. Street corn aka elote. The corn is juicy. Unfortunately, it was not enrobed with mayo and cotija cheese as a typical elote should be. Fried plantain: not many slices. They are dry and not sweet . I was hoping for more ripe plantain Birria tacos: small tacos, the consommé lacks of depth of flavor. I could only taste saltines. The waiter asked if I wanted rice and beans. I said only beans. It's basically mashed refried beans. I wasn't aware that it costs extra $4. My husband ordered this dish served in half pineapple. It has chorizo and shrimp. Again , lacking depth of flavor, very salty. Service was great. The staff is friendly. Credit card is accepted but with a fee. There's an ATM if you prefer to pay with cash.

While I enjoyed the music choices, he did not and it was also INCREDIBLY dark/moody which isn't our preference, but makes sense for the intimate vibe they are clearly going for.

Next of Kin has a quirky, playful, impressively creative menu with drinks that are memorable. We came here at around 10:30pm on a Saturday night after dinner. There was a bit of a line outside which moved slowly, but we were given cute champagne jello shot things for our patience which were delightful and a fun little preview of what to expect on the inside. The seating options consist of tables, bar, and what I believe they call "love pods", all of which are beautifully designed. We were seated at the bar, which is our preference anyway. With the help of Yelp, we found this place. First off, the building that houses National Mechanics is absolutely beautiful inside and out, and for good reason. The pub/restaurant occupies the old Mechanics National Bank, a majestic Greek Revival building, built in 1836. Inside the restaurant, the surroundings contrasted greatly with the outside. The large, primarily wooden interior has the feel of a vintage pub. It is equally as beautiful as the front. The service at National Mechanics was great. Though the staff was clearly running shorthanded, every employee we came into contact with served us with a smile and couldn't be friendlier. The food, at least on that day, was mediocre at best, unfortunately. While the menu was filled with all sorts of tempting dishes that already made us thinking of future visits, we opted for the Mexican Burger and the Ribeye Cheesesteak, two twists on old pub standbys. Sadly, we were both disappointed in our meals. We did start off on a bright spot, food-wise. My friend and I opted to share the Batter-Fried Pickled Green Beans, which were fabulous! Too bad the good food ended there... The description of the Mexican Burger sounded amazing, with avocado, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeños, Monterrey Jack cheese, and chipotle mayo. My friend said it was kind of bland and it was quite greasy. My ribeye cheesesteak did not match well with its "Amoroso" roll and the steak itself was dry. In the end, we were both disappointed in our choice in a lunch spot. Perhaps it was the large crowd of diners and little staff that made it all come out a little...off. In the end, I'd try National Mechanics again if I were in the area, as the atmosphere and service made it a cool spot to dine in. Hopefully the food will be better next time.
