The food was great portion and very good, we ordered the Eggs Benedict and Breakfast Sandwiches.

Cubano Sandwich with Sweet Potato fries - meh

Two Sisters is the restaurant inside the Hyatt Coral Gables. I ordered room service and was so excited to stay in, relax after a long conference and enjoy a meal from the comfort of my room. But then the food arrived and I was sorely disappointed. I had ordered the Cubano sandwich which came with slow roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickle and mustard on Cuban bread with fries that I substituted for sweet potato fries. The $12 sandwich with an iced tea was $20 after room charge and tip. Fine, no worries but it was barely edible - for twenty bucks!! The roasted pork was not tender and the pickles were soggy rather than crisp. Unfortunately, the sweet potato fries also arrived soggy and were cold. I was tired and hungry so I ate half of the sandwich and tossed the rest out. There are SO many amazing restaurants in the area - please don't make the same mistake I did and waste your culinary experience dining here!

I stayed at Hyatt Regency Coral Gables and dined at this wonderful restaurant, Two Sisters. Sorry for this late posting as I just started Yelping two days ago. Anyway, what I had was a big glass of california red, and the seafood paella. Wine was great! The glass was big enough for me to not only enjoy the wine but to smell the aroma as well. The Paella tasted very fresh and tasty. I will certainly go back to Two Sisters when I go back to Miami this winter or early spring of 2009.

I was a guest at the hotel, it was the 4th of July. Called the front desk to find out what time they were done serving breakfast, "12pm madam", it was 11:30am. We came down to the restaurant to find out they were done at 11, I had my mind set on those cuban Benedict. Long story short, the host seats us and gives us the breakfast menu, waiter comes tells us breakfast is done but he will make it happen as long as we don't mind waiting a bit longer. No problem, I want those cuban Benedicts, lol. Food came out, not even that long of a wait, and it was delicious. We also ordered the banana pancakes which were amazing, obviously we couldn't finish, it was too much food. Props to the waiter who accommodated us and booooo to the first host who turned us down! Fight for your cravings people!

This place was very pretty!!!! Its located inside the Hyatt Regency in the Gables. If you are staying around one night or want some peace and quiet this place was great for Sunday brunch. There was different stations, meat and cheese, breads, cereal, fruits, oatmeal, breakfast wraps, eggs, potatoes, bacon, French toast and a la carte menu if you want something different form the buffet. The service was attentive and please try the mimosas.

Took 45 minutes for my $18 avocado toast to come out and the place had only a few customers, most of which ordered the $25 buffet. Avocado toast had a smear of avocado and a huge pile of micro greens. Should have been called micro green toast.

Came in with a Groupon and left with a great experience! I hadn't been inside the Hyatt Coral Gables in ages. It's been beautifully renovated, with an elegant, modern and very Coral Gables touch. It was early , around 530, so we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves. Two Sisters is beautifully renovated too with marble countertops sleek and very in tune with the Alhambraish decor , we started off with a charcuterie that included chorizo, prosciutto, olives, grapes, strawberries, Brie and Manchego (too thickly sliced) along other unidentifiable cheeses and water crackers. It was a generous portion and varied selection for $22. I was actually feeling pretty full after the platter so I went ahead and order the mahi-mahi with risotto and shared it with my boyfriend. Resort it was a little low on salt but then my he my he was just right. We also ordered the Romaine salad which had slices of chorizo and Parmesan cheese very tasty. I would definitely return even without a Groupon!

And then there are places that create such a perfect environment that every night feels memorable. John Martin's Irish Pub is one of those rare places. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the history and authenticity. This is not a place pretending to be an Irish pub. The atmosphere is real, warm, and inviting. The craftsmanship of the bar, the energy of the room, and the welcoming staff create a vibe that is incredibly hard to replicate. The whiskey selection is absolutely phenomenal. If you appreciate Irish whiskey, this place is paradise. Their collection is one of the most impressive in South Florida and the bartenders truly know their craft. The food deserves just as much praise. The shepherd's pie is honestly something to die for. Rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The fish and chips are fantastic, the classic pub dishes are executed beautifully, and every plate feels authentic. Then there is the live music. The atmosphere during live performances is electric in the best way possible. It is lively, fun, and full of energy while still being a place where you can enjoy conversation and great company. But what truly transforms a great place into a perfect place is leadership. That is where Anna comes in. I first met Anna years ago when she was managing at another venue, and I witnessed firsthand how she handles people and situations. Her professionalism, calm leadership, and ability to create a welcoming environment stood out immediately. When I discovered she had become the General Manager here, I was excited to visit again. The transformation since she took over has been remarkable. The energy of the staff, the attention to detail, and the overall experience reflect the leadership behind the scenes. Anna is the heart of this place. As someone who manages a large company and hundreds of employees, I can say with complete honesty that she is one of the most impressive leaders I have ever seen in action. She leads by example, treats people with respect, and creates an environment where both staff and guests feel valued. There is something almost unbelievable about her positivity. Every time I see her she is smiling, welcoming guests, and making sure everyone is having a great experience. It is contagious. You leave feeling happier than when you arrived. That kind of leadership is rare. John Martin's is already an incredible establishment with amazing food, incredible whiskey, and one of the best atmospheres in Coral Gables. But with someone like Anna leading the team, the place continues to get better and better. Where she goes, I will always follow. Because every time I bring friends, family, or dates here, the night ends up being unforgettable. Miami is full of places to go out. Very few reach this level. John Martin's absolutely does.

That sandwich absolutely delivered. The bread was fresh and soft, the chicken was perfectly crispy and not too "chickeny" at all (IYKYK). Easily one of my new favorite chicken sandwiches. My friend and I also shared the deviled eggs, fries, and creamed corn - all of them slapped. She ordered the caesar salad, which she loved. I tried a few bites and felt it had an unexpected umami, almost Asian-inspired twist. It was definitely unique, just not my personal favorite. We grabbed seats at the bar and the service was top-tier. Every bartender and server was super warm and attentive. While we were there, you could tell regulars kept popping in and greeting the staff by name, which I think really says something about the place. Unfortunately, they sat us in the most uncomfortable table and chair set up in the restaurant. In the middle, they have these very short tables with uncomfortable stools and chairs that make dining awkward. Not to mention, that two of these tables are so close together that my friends and I were bumping elbows and touching the backs of the other dining guests in the table right behind us. And, to make matters worse, we not only had to be in an uncomfortable and tight space with the guests behind us, but we had to endure their yelling almost in our ears the entire time because the music in that restaurant is extremely loud. Music can be loud, but it is to the point where you cannot even hear yourself when speaking or you can only hear the other guests yelling. Suggestions to restaurant management, get rid of the awkward, short tables and chairs, or ask guests when they're making the reservation if they want to sit in that type of setting. Also, you may want to separate those type of tables and stools because they are WAY too close for comfort. And, consider bringing down the music level a few decibels.

Turned out to be a good call. While I was woefully overdressed ( t shirt and shirts as I just came off a transcontinental flight) for such a fancy bar in Coral Gables on. Friday night, staff was polite and welcoming. Was treated with respect and courtesy despite looking very WT. Traveling with food allergies is a challenge. The Kitchen was extremely accommodating and was able to modify my food to my allergies and preferences. I ordered the Chocolate Carajillo. Probably not the smartest thing to order a drink with two shots os Espresso at 10:40p but it soup def to tasty and it was! Plus the little chocolate that came with it!! Yum! If they sold those bars... I got the watermelon salad minus a bunch for f stuff: basically just watermelon, cucumber and feta. Thick clucks of cucumber, tasty watermelon chunks and hunks of feta. Yes, please! For protein I went with the double cheeseburger minus the bun and mayo and without the side order of fries = gluten free. They have a GF bun but I rarely eat a bun. It was a double pressed patty that was freshly made not cooked earlier and rewarded, so hit that the cheese was melting. Always a good sign. Delicious! Great service from Crystal and Ashley - my water glass was constantly filled without me having to ask. 18% gratuity automatically added to bill. Seems to be standard for all Coral Gables and Mismibhoteks (some add 20%). Had breakfast here. Different servers and hostess as well as different vibe and service despite an empty restaurant. Had I not eaten here last night my review would be a 3 based breakfast service. I had to get someone and ask for my water glass to be refilled. There are limited gluten free options but they do have GF bread do was able to have the croissant sandwich but with gf bread. I'd get this again. I also got the Greek Yogurt. I also understand that getting one of the last tables about 40 minutes before closing isn't always ideal, but it's still part of the job, and we never felt like we were asking for anything unreasonable. We were a party of four adults and a toddler. Daniel introduced himself and immediately asked if we were ready to order. We ordered a glass of wine, waters, an appetizer, and our toddler's meal, and let him know we'd be ready to order the rest in just a moment. About two minutes later he came back for our entrée order, so we placed it. One thing that stood out right away was that our daughter was never offered anything to drink. I ended up giving her my own water because no one ever asked if she wanted a beverage. The food was absolutely amazing, and the kitchen deserves a lot of credit. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out overcooked. Normally, that wouldn't have been a huge issue if our server had checked back on us, but Daniel never came to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. Later, my husband ordered a glass of wine because he didn't want me drinking alone. The wine never arrived, and we never received any explanation or apology. We chose not to ask for it again because it was already difficult to get our server's attention. Instead, he seemed more interested in talking with another server than checking on our table. We've been staying at this location for two nights and have had both dinner and breakfast here, and every other experience has been excellent. That's why this visit stood out so much. One final point: our check included an automatic gratuity. I completely understand and support automatic gratuities when appropriate, but they shouldn't mean the level of service drops. Great service should still be the standard, and unfortunately, that wasn't our experience with Daniel. The food was fantastic, but the service left us disappointed. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because the restaurant and its kitchen are excellent, and with better service, the experience would have been outstanding.
