    Mushroom bomb
    Kym S.

Food was good at this spot! Fusion themed menus are hit and miss, but this kitchen offered many options. Went with a friend during happy hour and ordered mushroom bombs to share (pictured) and we each got a glass of local wine. The batter was thicker than I would like, but it was still tasty and after the barrier was broken, stuffing and flavors were yummy! My dinner was the fish burger and it was delish (oops deleted pic already)...the garlic fries that was included with the fish burger was super tasty too, but imo, fresh minced garlic would have made it even better. My friend enjoyed the brown rice island chicken bowl and she had leftover since the portion was generous. We sat outside as it was warm. Spot located on a busy road, but entrance to the eatery and seating is tucked in the back which was surprisingly quiet. Great happy hour or go to spot with friends. Price was fair for portion provided, service attentive, location easy to get to. P.S. I went inside for a restroom break and noticed the bar area was large and busy.

5 stars for service: everyone was friendly and helpful 3.5 stars for the food taste and flavors. I love love the flavors of the menu. But lost 1.5 stars in this category because my bistek inspired Filipino tacos tasted like it was pre-cooked/ prepared in advance. And unfortunately my side of chips it came with were a bit stale. I appreciate the flavor of the marinade for the steak and the flavors of cilantro and sriracha mayo. But it would have been ten times better if I had a "fresh" serving of meat so it would be juicy instead of dry. I also liked the chipotle sauce but wished I got pico or tomato salsa for my chips. The calamari appetizer is good and I like the mix of rings and tentacles. Breading was crispy and light enough and not too greasy at all. The gumbo special was good with flavorful southern spices and a good portion of seafood. 5 stars for speed and timelyness 5 stars for the look, feel, modern interior design, comfortable seating and cleanliness. Decor has large farmhouse style chandeliers and wooden beams on the ceiling. The feel is also modern and clean with wood panel walls, some brick walls, blue cloth napkins and blue chairs. When you walk in there's a dining area, turn the corner and you'll find the bar. Keep walking past the bar to the right and there's a small banquet room. Lots of ample space.

This place was actually really good - was impressed with the cheeseburger. They toast the bun, meat perfectly cooked & juicy, cheese melty. And the fries were good too! I'd recommend for a day you want a beer and some yummy food.

Just what I needed after a stressful work day. Sangria, calamari, bruschetta, poke tower and good customer service. I will return.

found Two60 Kitchen & Bar on Yelp and decided to drop by to try it. They describe themselves as "New American," but I was there's some great fusion influence, like their Korean Fried Chicken sandwich & Ahi Tuna Poke. I ordered the Pan Seared Salmon, which came with a unique blend of yu choy sum, fingerling potatoes, cabbage, and edamame. I loved the addition of edamame, veggies were a great mix of textures, and the lemon cream herb sauce tied the whole dish together beautifully. The salmon itself was cooked super well done, although I liked the crisp exterior it made the texture a bit too dry. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Just a heads up for those who like to grab a cocktail: they are quite strict with IDs. I unfortunately forgot my physical ID and they wouldn't accept a photo of it. While some places are lenient, they follow the rules to a T here, so make sure you have the physical card on you! Overall, a fantastic addition to the Fairfield dining scene.

My husband and I ate here last weekend for lunch. I had the Italian salad and he had a bacon cheeseburger with garlic fries. We had the fried zucchini as an appetizer. I also ordered the blood orange beer. Everything was delicious and serving sizes were preset big. Service was a little slow, but the place was busy. Overall, I would return here.

Great mix of bar type food...thiz place gives off a cheesecake factory vibe with better lighting and a smaller easier menu to choose from for tasty treats. The multiple times me and the fam have gone, the apps have been so good; especially the brussel sprouts. Some of the staff are more friendly than others but we usually get a good waiitress. Only thing I dont reccommend is the strawberry lemonade...as my mom so indelicately put it.." This taste like Toilet water! It was bad, not fresh at all but other than that it has potential. Ciao for now......

This place is a win-win, such a hidden gem. A friend who lives here locally told me about it. We came here after a show. The food and drinks were on point and not as pricey as the city with ample parking. Can't wait to come back for more seasonal entrees. The vibe is energetic. Staff and patrons are nice. 'TIL next time ~ cheers and see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

Not bad at all. Middle of the road. Good service. We got the vermicelli noodle salad (which was fine but lacking just a bit of flavor for my taste) and I can't remember exactly what the sandwich was but I think it was like a chimichurri steak situation. Loved the garlic fries. Clean space.

Fish n Chips (fries were so soggy)
    Elaine R.

Togo Order Only For the price of the food $75 Poke Tower (3/5) - they used to be able to make this without the wonton getting soggy - but it was ok..wasn't as good as before Fish n Chips (3/5) - fries were so soggy sadly again not well packaged and fish was ok Cajun shrimp (3/5) GF pretty good average size shrimp good sauce just a bit oily Beet Salad (5/5) GF only thing good .. dressing was great just a hint of sweetness but went well with feta brats arugula and beets Not allergic to gluten but for those that are lots of choices. I'll try to visit to try food on-site but dont recommend to go unless you want to reheat your food to make it crispy.

This was a stop in Vacaville to eat and refuel on the way to Marysville near Yuba City. Wanted to eat something different than the normal fast food and restaurants we normally visit. Going into Shell to fill up, seen Two60 Kitchen across the street. Never heard of location before, so decided to quick review before heading over. Looked good, with some exciting food options. So decided to head over. Once in, greeted by lobby employee who help seat us immediately. Looking over menu before waiter made her way over. A very nice selection of meals, entrées and drinks. Devon the Korean fried Chicken sandwich and the wife ordered lumpia and parmesan brussels sprouts dishes. We shared as normally do. All 3 were fantastic! Great fried chicken patty with seasoning and spices to make your mouth water. Sweet potato fries were sweet hot and crispy. Lumpia was hot and very well seasoned with flavor and the sweet and tangy sauce. The Brussels had a very crispy and crunchy texture, flavorful with a sauce and cheese. Everything came out hot and fresh. Service was on point and the ambiance was of a hip restaurant and sports bar with a full stocked bar and tvs all over dining areas. Would definitely return when in Vacaville area and hungry!

"Surprisingly good service for a big group" We had a big group (9 people) and a dog and arrived 6:30pm on a Saturday . We were greeted nicely and 2 of the restaurant's staff worked quickly to get tables together outside for us to seat in a group. We received our food fairly quickly considering the size of our group and the service was really good especially how nice our server was. I don't remember her name but I feel as though she was the only Asian server during that shift time. There's a lot of different food options and surprisingly there's a Filipino fusion plates/entrees which I definitely will get next time I visit. The food is superb. I ordered the "Blacken chicken and Shrimp Alfredo" and also tasted the "Cod and shrimp Piccata". Both are extremely flavorful with the pasta sauce thick and sticks to the pasta (which is a definite plus). The protein (chicken, shrimp, and cod) was cooked well and was not overcooked. Also both appetizer and desert we ordered was extremely delicious. The food is a definite 5 out of 5 stars for me.

    Riblets special
    Anna T.

Good quality lunch. Had poke appetizer. Small portion to split with another person but tasty and pretty stacked presentation. I had the riblets - could have been a bit more sauced / flavorful but meat was cooked well. Had the wedge salad that was okay. Service was attentive and restaurant was pretty lively / full the day we went - Christmas Eve day.

I honestly don't know what they put in it, but it's full of flavor and perfectly balanced. If you like it extra saucy, you can just ask and they'll accommodate. It never disappoints. I've tried the chorizo version before and it wasn't my favorite, so I happily went back to the chicken, which is consistently excellent. The café de olla is another highlight. I drink it black because it's that good. No cream, no sugar needed. It's rich and flavorful on its own. The avocado toast is also delicious and beautifully prepared. The space itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. The host has always been friendly and attentive. They even make their orange juice fresh, which adds to that fresh, quality feel. Even though I tell myself I'm going to try something new each visit, I end up ordering the chicken chilaquiles every single time. That says everything. We had reservations just because it was mothers day and we knew it would be busy and it was. We got there a little early and sat down right away. The place has plenty of outside and inside seating. When we sat down a waiter came right away and asked if we wanted water and told us our waiter would be right with us. Our waiter came shortly after that and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered a bottle a sparkling wine. We ordered the poutine fries to start. The bottle of sparkling came out right away. The poutine came out not to long after that. The short rib was tender and juicy, the fries were cooked perfect, the cheese on it was melted, but it needed some gravy and more cheese. The original Canadian poutine has the gravy on it and the cheese curds which are so delicious. If this had the gravy on it, it would be a 10 in my book because of the short ribs and the fries were perfect. For our entrees we ordered the short rib eggs benedict and the chicken & waffles. The food came out pretty quick which was nice. The short rib eggs benedict was cooked perfect. Of course the short ribs was tender, and the hollandaise sauce was nice. The chicken and waffles was cooked perfect, the flavor on both was nice, the chicken was tender and juicy. The must have brined the chicken in order for it to be so tender and juicy, if not, they did a great job either way. The waffles were also cooked perfect and they had some type of flavor to it that you didn't even need syrup. I observed the staff working and everyone was working together and bringing stuff and picking up from all the tables. Kudos to the whole staff. Our waiter was also great so good job to him as well. We were too stuffed for dessert so next time we shall try some. The 5 was close to getting it but the poutine just needed some gravy in my opinion.

Service was ok, again not starred and cheaper. For example towards the last few glasses of wine the glass was given without even saying what it was (which I can obv look it up but is a nice touch when someone explains how the chef intends to eat the course or where the wine is from). So my bestie and I booked a Friday reservation about three weeks out -- and I completely understand why reservations can stretch nearly a month. The space is very small and intimate, and every seat feels intentional. One of the most notable aspects of the evening was the open kitchen presentation. We were lucky enough to sit at the counter, which essentially turned dinner into a show. Watching each dish come together -- plated with precision, purpose, and care -- was mesmerizing. Chef Michael worked with such efficiency and order. After completing each dish, he cleaned and reset his station before moving on to the next, maintaining a pristine space throughout service. There was a quiet discipline to it all. Tonight was the Tasting Menu. It's easy to assume tasting portions might leave you wanting more, but that was absolutely not the case. We left completely satisfied. From the menu that evening: * tsar nicoulai caviar, basque cheesecake * tempura beef rib * canelé de bordeaux, tuna * radicchio, chowder, greens * king salmon, leeks, fennel, sea buckthorn custard * brioche, morel mushrooms, rice cracker, mushroom powder * polenta, perigord black truffle, broccoli * pork tenderloin, braised greens, black truffle mousse * Japanese A5 wagyu beef * mandarin sorbet, oranges, sabayon * meyer lemon ice cream, candied pecans * beignet, salted caramel * cheesy crème brûlée, essex manchego cheese Each course emphasized bold, striking flavors. Some dishes leaned heavier on salt than I personally prefer, but overall there was thoughtful balance between sweet, salty, acidic, and umami elements. Standouts for me were the tsar nicoulai caviar basque, the tempura beef rib, the king salmon with sea buckthorn custard (I could easily eat 4-6 of those), the pork tenderloin and Japanese A5 wagyu with braised greens and black truffle mousse, the refreshing mandarin sorbet, and the unexpected but delightful cheesy crème brûlée. Every dish felt intentional and composed with purpose. This isn't an everyday dining spot -- and I don't think it's meant to be. It's an experience. Chef Michael brings his background from places like Auberge du Soleil and Bouchon into this intimate Vallejo space, and it shows. If you have the opportunity to dine here before the doors close, I strongly encourage you to make the reservation. It's one of those meals you'll remember -- not just for the food, but for the artistry behind it.

Met by Hailey who was also our server. My wife chose the Chinese Chicken Salad, it was hearty and good. I ordered the Pork Chop. This dish was AMAZING! Very moist, great flavor, excellent sauce. Mashed potatoes had the right amount of sour cream. I even liked the green beans. This was a delicious plate of food. Hailey was a great server. Don't hover but seemed to be there each time we wanted her. Nice interior, loved the mural.

I've been craving a red meat and I knew I shouldn't expect much from a restaurant in Fairfield/Suisun, it's just not a culinary area. And I was right! The steak was just OK and for some reason they topped the red wine demi glaze in the to go container which of course, and then spread into the mashed potatoes and green beans. The sauce would have made the steak better if I had more of it. They should consider putting it into a container instead... food for thought.

As we arrived, we were welcomed by the twinkling lights of Main St. and a beautifully adorned town Christmas tree. The streets were nearly deserted, and at the corner, nestled in a lovely brick building, was Main St. Bar & Grill. Inside, the atmosphere was serene, offering an intimate dining experience devoid of lines and throngs of people. I felt as if I had stepped into a scene from a Hallmark movie. The menu boasted an impressive wine selection along with a fully stocked bar. I indulged in a glass of Rombauer Carneros, while my friend opted for an 805. For starters, we savored the delightful calamari and asparagus, both delectable treats. Our main course featured gnocchi and prawns that were absolutely scrumptious. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed creamy cheesecake accompanied by a Bailey's Irish coffee and a perfectly brewed regular coffee, both served at just the right temperatures. The ambiance allowed for easy conversation, with a noise level that was just right. There were no holiday crowds--just the charm of a quaint little town, fresh cuisine, and fabulous wine.

So the hubby and I were driving by on the way to another restaurant and noticed this very unassuming restaurant and decided to switch gears and have dinner at Main Street Bistro and I'm so glad we did. To start I ordered the clam chowder which was rich, hot, creamy and loaded with tender potatoes and clams. The flavor was excellent. The bread service was warm dinner rolls with butter. I had the salmon which was pan seared and served with a lemony saffron sauce over mashed potatoes and topped with prawns along with mixed vegetables. The five year old in me nixed the veggies. The lemony saffron sauce was perfectly balanced and flavorful. The salmon was perfectly cooked and not dry. My husband had the pork chop which was an herb marinated center cut pork bone in for additional flavor with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. First of all it was size of a ribeye and really tender and juicy. 10/10 Ambiance: While the place lacks curbside appeal and the area is a mixed bag of slightly sketchy yet across from the beautiful view of the marina, the interior definitely surprises. A great couple's dinner spot. The decor is old school high end bistro. Very clean and slightly upscale yet inviting. Service: The service was great. Our server was Tera. She was friendly, quick and very knowledgeable and the menu. If you happen to go by tell Tera hello she's been there over 15 years Parking: Parking is on the street but not to hard to find. Overall: This place is definitely in rotation. I loved them. The food was delicious, hot, nicely seasoned and well balanced with generous portion sizes that were a pleasant surprise considering the pricing. Good menu selection for the size of the place. I can't wait to go back and try the Branzino. See you there!!!

Super friendly, checked on us at the right times, and just brought a really great vibe to the table. For a Saturday morning, the wait was totally reasonable. The menu alone guarantees we're coming back. Too many things we still want to try. We ordered the Hunter's Skillet with pork adobo and it was legit. Not just seasoned on the surface, the flavor carried through every bite. Swapped toast for biscuits and gravy and that was the right call. Thick biscuits and a peppery white gravy I would absolutely take home and eat again. I went with the Mexican French Toast made with conchas, topped with mango tres leches sauce and fresh strawberries. It was next level. Amaze. Amaze. Amaze.

Lilly was my server, and she truly has a natural gift for hospitality. She consistently greets guests with a warm smile and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. What stood out most this time was her attention to detail--she remembered that I'm diabetic and thoughtfully brought me sugar-free syrup without me having to ask. It's that level of care that makes every visit such a great experience. Thank you, Lilly, for your kindness and dedication. It never goes unnoticed.
