They have a good burger that's always been fresh and never prepared wrong. I'm very picky about 2 things. I don't want Mayo or any other sauce that looks like or could possibly contain Mayo(no aioli, fry sauce, special sauce...), nor do I want tomato on my burger. Very nice restaurant conveniently located right off the freeway. It's a nice dining spot past all the fast food places. Went with a friend who knows the owner, Molly. She checked in on us, asked about our meals while we chatted a bit. It was a pleasure to meet her. Molly was sweet and friendly. I ordered the fish and chips which did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and super flaky. The fries were thick, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect meal as it was not greasy and I was satisfied. The other time I came here I ordered the Korean fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Got the filet tips mushroom risotto and my date got the New York dip. My dish was fantastic- pretty sizable and had to ask for a container to-go. Meat was super tender, the risotto was fluffy, and mushrooms meaty. Would definitely order again. The New York dip was heavy on mushrooms and was pretty good. I will say the dip at Bud's in Dixon is better. Want to come back again for another time, lunch perhaps. Came for a family dinner not too long ago. Loved the modern style which paired well with the music. Service was polite and attentive. Happy hour was 4pm-6pm. They had pretty good food and drinks available. Appetizers were delicious. Had the lumpia which was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and was perfect with the dipping sauce. Was in town for 1 night on business and the people at the hotel told me this was "Best in town"....David the bartender definitely made a good first impression. He knows exactly what ya want with out having to ask....Note to Owner- he's a keeper! It seems this place is good with the sandwiches and such so I ordered French Dip sandwich on the menu. While waiting EVERYTHING I saw coming out looked GREAT!!!! When the sandwich came out it was the one I was torn between, the "Korean Chicken" one. Came here on Saturday night and it wasn't too packed around 6:30. For drinks we had the hazy IPA and the Starwood I think. It was a tequila and mezcal drink that was delicious, not too strong or too sweet. Then, we had the spicy Korean chicken sandwich, buffalo wings and the blackened chicken and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. The place was packed and seemed really busy. We came in not having a reservation, but they were able to sit us right away. For drinks I got the house sangria and she got the mojito. The Sangria las a creeper lol. I had one, ordered another and questioned myself after the first one was already in lol. My friend really liked her mojito. Dined in for a last minute date night. It was my second time coming here to eat. There was no wait and they had outdoor and indoor dining available. Doesn't seem like they have a full waiting staff back but i think they still did a great job. Our server Angela was very attentive and quick with her service despite having to serve to multiple tables including those outdoors. We ordered Brussels and lumpia for our apps and shared the Korean fried chicken sandwich all topped off with a few cocktails and their bread pudding dessert. No complaints. Truffle fries didn't really seem like truffle fries but it was no biggie. Still yummy lol. Had a family function (20 plus people) and had the private room. Great accessibility as well - had one person in wheelchair and our 94 year old matriarch. Food was excellent and small details made our event run smoothly.
