This unassuming place is tucked into an industrial area in El Cajon. I have driven past it so many times and finally made the stop. The shop is super spacious and inviting with some great seating areas. I can't wait to go back with my book and a little more time to hang out. I grabbed a cold brew on the run and my friend got a flat white. Both drinks were really good. They were well balanced and smooth with good flavor. The service was fast and friendly. I can see this becoming my spot in East County when I need a good coffee and some down time.

Tucked away in a commercial area is this unique little coffee shop, it's bigger inside than it looks on the outside. I had the brown sugar oatmilk latte & a bacon sarnie. The coffee was really good and the sarnie was good also BUT it was only half a sandwich & for the price I was expecting the whole sandwich. Nice spot, good coffee, nice staff.

Tyne Coffee was a pleasant surprise to my day. I had some time, did a quick Google search, and ended up here. It's located in more of a warehouse area with plenty of parking -- not where I expected a café to be, which made it even more interesting. The space is big, with the main café area up front and an expanded section in the back with more seating, including lounge-style sofas and tables for meetings, studying, or working. I ordered a matcha and it was so good. Great size, too -- a little pricey in my opinion, but the quality was definitely there. Would come back if I'm in the area.

A cute coffee shop tucked away in a bunch of business offices-- a true gem. We got a Vanilla Latte with Honey Cold Foam & Lavender Matcha with Honey Cold Foam. You truly cannot go wrong with Honey Cold Foam. My matcha was a little milkier than I prefer but flavor was good. I actually enjoyed the latte better. My partner also said their food is really good but unfortunately their kitchen was closed when we came in.

This place is so solid!! Was in the area for some appts and needed some breakfast and caffeine. Thru my trusty app, I stumbled upon this cafe around 930am on a Friday and had a handful of people and a short line, but never became overly or uncomfortably crowded. Plus this place is surprisingly big. I stopped in for an iced dirty chai latte and Lox salmon bagel. Everything tasted so good. Latte tasted great and woke me up. The bagel was perfect for me; the amount of lox and cream cheese (a lot of it mmm) and their bagel tasted homemade? Not sure if it is or they buy it and toast it super good, but I really enjoyed it. Love the decor of the shop and bought me a sticker for a souvenir. Service is nice from each employee. Coffee took about 5 min and the bagel took about 15 min and I thought it was worth the wait.

Came in on a quiet afternoon. The two young ladies behind the counter didn't really make any effort to welcome us in or make us feel like we weren't disturbing them by being there. However, the iced oat milk vanilla lattes were solid. The space is definitely small and tucked away in the industrial district of El Cajon offered a rather peaceful ambience.

Thank you! I have been struggling to find good coffee in east county. I love places that truly care for the craft and this guy gets it. Never have to fight for parking. AC is cold. And the decor is stunning! I'm such a sucker for a good coffee/study spot

Quiet coffee shop in an industrial area, perfect for enjoying some solo time of quiet conversation with a friend. There is a main road right next to it but doesn't get a lot of traffic. The inside is pretty small but designed with a great aesthetic. There is a comfortable seating area on one side, with a few small tables on the other. They also have outdoor seating and picnic tables with shade structures. Servers were very friendly and took my order quickly. Because I was sitting outside though, I had to come in to check on my order myself. There was an issue with my order (it came iced when I ordered hot), but they very quickly remedied it and bumped me to the top of their coffee making list so that I didn't have to wait longer. Their dressed avocado toast was perfect - loved every bite. Toast wasn't too hard, perfect flavor, not too much salt or red pepper. I opted for the pumpkin spice latte from their fall menu. It was good but tasted for maple than pumpkin, which I didn't mind but was just unexpected. Prices are fair, I would say even moderate compared to other places nowadays.

Ambiance is great. Music not so loud a couple of counter seats and two tables and a lounge area to hangout. This coffeeshop is an extension of a Bike Store so its decor is geared towards that type. We ordered a Hot Matcha Latte and it was amazing. Great matcha quality. Service is outstanding.

Second visit and still love this little Oasis, even more so now that they've opened up more space. They have two little Nookie type areas and an outdoor aside from the main floor. They must want me to come back because this time I stopped by, hoping to get some breakfast, but the kitchen was down. Happily, they still had great alternatives. Ordered a Cortado and burrito. The burritos are small almost grilled taco side. It's still good. I only ordered one thinking it would be huge, but definitely want to take advantage of their deal in getting 2 for $6. Then again, this may not be an ongoing item. I went around 10 AM and it was moderately busy on a Thursday. The good bad problem is I expect they're gonna become very popular so I hope there's still room if I come to study. Lol. Definitely worth checking out.

I came back to try a few more of the food and drink options, I got the loaded bagel with sausage and my boyfriend got the lox bagel. Both were really yummy and I think I like this place for their food more than their specialty drinks. We got the matcha latte and fog on the Tyne but both were a bit too watery for our liking. I would mostly recommend this place for their food and coffee options!

Really enjoyed my visit to Tyne Coffee. The iced latte with house vanilla was delicious - smooth and not overly sweet. There's plenty of seating and the overall vibe is airy and pleasant. Comfortable, inviting, and a great place to relax or get some work done. Looking forward to coming back!

Second time visiting this cute neighborhood coffee shop. It's tucked away in an industrial part of El Cajon but we found it welcoming and peaceful. Plenty of spaces to sit and catch up with friends, study, work or just relax. Staff is friendly, coffee is yum and food is delish! Great local shop to visit and support.

She knows her stuff-knows how to ask the right questions so that you get what you really want. For instance, I was on the fence about having biscuits and gravy but I asked if the gravy was really peppery. She offered to get me a small taste and although it was delicious, I've been a little under the weather so I decided I didn't want anything really heavy. Instead I ordered the 3 egg scramble with their smoked ham and added cheese-it was really good and a huge serving including their potatoes and English muffin. I'll probably be able to make two more meals from this serving! My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and asked which potatoes they would be able to make the most crispy as we both like our potatoes crispy. She suggested the hash browns and even asked if he wanted them crispy on both sides which was a great way to get them the way he wanted. Those kinds of gestures really make the difference when you're dining out. The eggs Benedict and the hash browns were delicious, btw. :) Camryn had a great personality too-very friendly, bright and quick. She did a great job of checking in on all of her tables. When we go back I hope we are lucky enough to have Camryn serve us again but all of the servers seemed very friendly as well. Great job, Izzy's and Camryn!
