Came here on a Friday night and was seated fast. I think we got lucky because after us there was a line out the door! We were overwhelmed by the selection of desserts but I had my eye on the mango sticky rice bingsu. I have tried mango bingsu at other restaurants in the past, but they simply don't compare! The portion size was huge which my boyfriend and I struggled to finish between the two of us. The toppings were so delicious: Mango purée, condensed milk, and sticky rice. My only comment was the toppings were a bit small compared to the size of the bingsoo. About halfway through we had run out of toppings. The restaurant was cozy and cute and it was fun to see what desserts others had ordered. The service was good and fast. Overall, the dessert was really tasty and will definitely look forward to returning and trying more items on the menu. read more

By far the best desserts I've had in my life. I'm a dessert person and I'm not exaggerating! The menu had so many amazing options that it was a hard choice to make. I'm going to be back several times after this. The first (my absolute favorite) was the double fromage lychee cheesecake an absolute delight. The flavor was out of this world and the portion was just right. It was soft, creamy and melted in my mouth. They served it with Lychee ice cream and I really wanted to ask if they sold pints of the ice cream for me to take home. Then we had the Volcano Bingsu. Just a note if you are a small party or don't want a lot to eat then just order this alone without anything else. It's huge and definitely a shared dessert. The Korean snow ice looked like micro white sprinkles and melts in your mouth like ice cream. The bend of the snow ice with crispy chocolate rice, banana pieces, cornflakes, and almonds was perfect. It was a different experience with each bite. We also got the Goma Dangho which is basically mochi with roasted powdered black sesame. I like mochi but this was like fresh mochi (kinda sticky) and was not my favorite. I wouldn't get this again. Lastly, we had a Mango Matcha Fresca which is a bubble tea. The boba was soft instead of chewy and just the right amount of sweetness to balance of the drink. They have a variety of drinks so I want to try some of their other bubble teas. The place has a very instagramable ambiance with a couch seat or a swing and great decor. It's small and usually will have a line unless you go as soon as they open. The servers are kind and sweet! The service and atmosphere here are great. It's a small store so space is cramped, but according to my boyfriend this would be a great first-date location. Incidentally, the couple sitting next to us were on their first date. The menu here has a lot of interesting things, all seemingly done well; we had a hard time selecting our meal. The mango sticky rice bingsoo is my favorite!!! The mangoes were a bit sour this time but understandable since they're not in season. I also got to try the Thai tea crepe cake this time and just wow! It was delicious and fluffy. My large party came around 7 PM and didn't have to wait for a table - we were seated immediately. We were told that they required a minimum of $8 per person for large parties but I'm glad they told us before we got seated. Quick and friendly service. Friendly customer service + yummy dessert = perfect combination for a rainy afternoon. My girlfriend had a hankering for the chocolate pistachio bingsu so we are back for a return visit. She made a reservation (she thought) for this location but it turned out that it does not accept reservations. Nonetheless, the service staff kindly explained that and gave us a table nonetheless. My favorite dessert place in the Bay. I used to go here at least once a week lol. It is a little pricey but the desserts are big, great quality, aesthetic, and super super tasty. It gets really crowded so suggest getting there earlier in the night. When you're seated, there's a QR code on the table for you to view the menu & order (although sometimes, you'll have to order through the waiter). Food doesn't take long to come out but sometimes if they're slammed, it might take a while. Favorite things are the Volcano Bingsu & Thai Tea Brick Toast. The bingsu is super fluffy, filled with bananas, brownies, oreos, & salted cream on top. The saltiness of the cream cuts the sweetness well. They also serve it with liquid nitrogen through the middle of the bowl so the bingsu doesn't melt that fast & stays cold. Love the toast -- especially the small cubes inside. My friends and I agreed to just order the mango bingsoo next time. We didn't really understand the hype. For the Matcha Warabi Mochi (Limited), it was squishy. One of my friends described it as eating a steak fat. The picture showed them to be rolled into little balls, but we received one big FAT ball. I wouldn't recommend this dish. We got the thai tea crepe cake and the honey yuzu cheesecake. Both items were fantastic - the crepe cake was light and creamy, and the cheesecake was rich and citrusy. I have a lot to say regarding this place. First off, delicious food, good service. Now the nitty gritty VERY important to read as they are still in the works of a HUGE error that can cause a lawsuit if not corrected. Same goes towards their POS system used, I've contacted both the restaurant and their POS company responsible for this. Friendly reminder for parties of 6 or more, it's not disclosed on their website, menu and they do not mention this upon paying but they do a "20%" gratuity charge that's added to your bill. In my case, they charged sales tax to the total amount and gratuity, and the gratuity was 23% not 20% as shown on the digital receipt. They do not provide paper receipts as I asked ahead of time. Another point is they completely forgot my order and put so little effort in making mine photo worthy as they did with my family's meal. My family pretty much finished their food before I had to bring it up to them. We came when they opened without making reservations. We ordered the appetizer platter and the value set which offered 6 desserts and 6 drinks; for the value it's for the number of people in the party. You cannot order the value for four with a party of 6. Food and beverages are the star of the show. Beautifully displayed, a piece of art. Love the toppings at the top as well as they blend well to add more texture into it. Thai Tea Brick Toast (5/5): The toast blends with the thai tea flavor so well and it's absolutely scrumptious. The first time I ordered this I was mindblown. The lava sauce inside is creamy yet not too thick, and it layers on the crisp bread exterior like bread and butter as a dipping sauce. This is definitely a dense snack, so come with room in your tummy if you want to order this one. Mochi Waffle (3.5/5): Honestly didn't think this was that stand-out. It definitely hit the spot and the mochi texture was there, but I didn't see what was so special about the waffle. How I rate my stars: 1 - Yikes. Will never be coming back. Long overdue review - I went here March 2022 and I still dream about going back. Food - Matcha Lava Cake - SO GOOD. The matcha powder on top of the cake and paired with the matcha icecream was so good. This was so amazing and the chocolate was the perfect amount of sweet and decadent. For to go order, you need to scan the QR code to retrieve the menu then order and pay. Ordering was relatively simple, paying was so tricky that we needed a wait person to assist us. The online method didn't permit entering our credit card info, hence the help. Ordered placed and took awhile for the packaging. I had the chocolate lava matcha cake. It had some strawberries fixed to the cake and the matcha is ice cream in a small container within the cake box. Knifing into the chocolate cake the lava flowed out as it should. The matcha ice cream gave the dessert a balance because the chocolate lava was very sweet that the matcha leveled it out. Overall I had enjoyed it as it wrapped up my dinner and evening. Because if the overly sweetness of the cake, I probably would have something else next time. The bingsoo was fun to watch and the brick toast was sweet, juicy and well made. The cake was good too but the ice cream that came with it was simply WOW! While the experience was great the server was not that great. Dropping a star for that. He informed us that we need to order atleast $8 per person and kept coming back to ask if we had anything to order to make the total get to the minimum. It was rather strange for him to come over atleast 4 times! And last, while paying up, 20% gratuity was included in the order yet he interrupted saying we can add more if we liked his service. Prices are steep ranging from $8 drinks, $15 cake slices, and $17 bingsoo on average. I've been here multiple times and my favorite dessert is the coconut pandan crepe slice. It is served with a scoop of ice cream and coconut sauce on the side. It's not overly sweet.
