We want to compliment and thank Aladdin Carpet and Floors of Rockville for the outstanding job performed for us in 2023 in recarpeting a substantial part of our four-floor condominium building. In particular, we would like to commend David Naghibi, Aladdin's sales manager, who met and communicated with our planning committee numerous times, for his professionalism and courtesies extended to us in overseeing and supervising the installation of the carpet in our condominium building. The large size of the project required Mr. Naghibi to come out several times to meet with the members of our redesign committee, and to work with us in arriving at a suitable contract. His courteous and patient demeanor, together with his knowledge and skill in educating us on various carpet choices, were very much appreciated. In the summer of 2023, Aladdin's installation crew arrived as scheduled and worked efficiently and professionally over a five-day period. They carefully inspected and, if needed, repaired the subfloor prior to laying the carpet, with a minium of disruption to residents. The crew was also extremely attentive to seamlessly match the wavy design of the carpet throughout our hallways. The project was completed on time and to the full satisfaction of the Board of Directors. To date, the carpet looks as good as the date is was laid, and there have been no complaints. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend the services of David Naghibi and Aladdin Carpet and Floors of Rockville.

Khan from 111 Carpets did call back, said he would be glad to accommodate me (it saves hauling it to the dump), told me where to pick it up (jobsite), and helped me load it into my car. The carpet is not fancy but it met my needs, and the price couldn't be better: free! Of course, my house interior needs better carpet than that and when I need it I will call Khan again. He treated me well.

We figured out what carpet we wanted, and then started shopping around for the lowest price. We tried Costco's contractor. We tried Empire. We tried Luna. We tried Lowe's. We tried Home Depot. And then we tried 111Carpets. BINGO!!! Here are the benefits: *They are primarily a shop-at-home service, but they do have a showroom open by appointment. Which means, you can shop however YOU prefer. (We opted for the in-home, similar to Empire or Luna.) *There is absolutely NO pressure to sign a contract on the spot (unlike with Empire or Luna). * They listen to the customer. The gentleman who came to our home was incredibly knowledgeable, listened to what we wanted, and didn't try to persuade us that we wanted anything other than what we told him we wanted. *NO SUBCONTRACTORS. *No crazy waits while your carpet gets ordered like with Lowes or Home Depot, or many of the other smaller shops. *Added benefit of having a local company to call in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong. Having local service is SO important. 111Carpet also has an A+ from the BBB. *They were able to beat the lowest price we had gotten. If I EVER need flooring ever again, regardless of how big or small, I will only make one phone call. To 111Carpets.

Nice people but they have a problem with installation…read more We purchased carpet from Kehne's in 2016 and had a bad installation. The installer left large seams in the bedroom and hall and laid carpet very unevenly on our finished wood stairs. Kehne's sent installers three times to correct this. We purchased carpet for our basement in October of 2018. The scheduled install date was Dec 23rd, we had to delay, we weren't ready. Kehne's promised and then reneged on several dates in January, we settled on Jan 16th. On Jan 15th we were told that the carpet that had arrived in November was defective and that a new carpet would be expedited. Several dates for this installation were suggested but did not take place. There was a constant cycle of installation date followed by a call to reschedule because the carpet hadn't been shipped from the manufacturing site in Georgia. We finally canceled the order, Kehne's refunded our money and we contracted with another local company.

On THREE separate scheduled install dates, we took off of work and prepared for their arrival only to receive a call that morning or the night before saying they couldn't come because they had another job. It was a no brainer to choose them. When it comes to the work itself, the craftsmanship was very good, the cuts are so clean and everything looks amazing. They did very fast work without sacrificing quality. The only areas for improvement I would say they could have are: - Communication during the days of the project, so you know without having to ask when they are coming, leaving, what the progress is, etc. - Ensuring when they put furniture and things back that they pay attention to things like hooking up HDMIs back to the correct places - Doing a better job of cleanup -- they left behind a TON of dust coating everything, sawdust in my basement that I presume blew in from leaving the garage entrance open where they were working, cans/water bottles left behind - Building in measurement/space for lower flooring to not leave a gap in the trim; they came back and did some caulking after I had a water/rain issue, but it still doesn't look as good -- I wish that their molding/trim solution filled the big gaps and I'm going to have to find a way to do that myself To their credit, they were very fast and responsive when I had a water issue and came back out the next day. I also had a crack in my basement ceiling where something pounded through or pounded the drywall loose from the flooring above being done, and they credited me enough money back to be able to have my handyman fix it. Overall, I would definitely use DFD again.
