I genuinely felt they intentionally gave me incorrect information, which caused me to waste my time and walk away with absolutely nothing resolved. DO NOT GO HERE RIP OFF wish I could give one star While on a business trip to Houston from California, my iPhone stopped working. I took it to the closest repair place I could find this was the Ubreakifix on Katy freeway in Houston. I ONLY took it to a chain thinking I would be taken care of this was the farthest thing from the truth. My screen stopped working, the nice guy behind the counter couldn't find what he was looking for and after calling another guy several times we agreed it would be $109 for an after-market screen replacement. 2 hours later when I went to pick up my phone, he said that the aftermarket screen didn't work and they would have to install and OEM screen for $340. I have had several of these done before and knew this was not true. I told him to just put my phone back together and will take it elsewhere. After 10 mins he handed the phone back and I put it in my bag and enjoyed the rest of my one-day business trip. When I got home to California the next day, I took it to a local shop. The local shop showed me when they opened it how they butchered the inside of my phone. The bracket holding the connections wasn't in there as well as the Face ID/speaker. They explained to me that once this Face ID/speaker is taken out then the phone will never work with face id again. So, your shop in Texas essentially BROKE my phone. There were other things too like the batteries ribbon or whatever wasn't even plugged in. $100 later for an after-market screen and $55 for some fixing of the motherboard which the guy said wasn't burnt by itself meaning when the Ubreakifix in Houston opened it up they did some damage to it. My phone is working now without Face ID which is annoying. I called Ivan who is the manager of the Ubreakifix off Katy highway to figure out what can we do about this and he suggested that he send me the original face id to I can have the shop here install it. Well, I just got the "original" face id and its not for my iPhone X its for an iPhone 12. Ubreakifix not only didn't fix my phone but they RUINED it, essentially STEALING from me. read more

I made an appointment online but an estimate for new battery for iphone 8 was not available at the time but I drove all the way to to the store anyway. I was horrified that they wanted almost $100 to replace the battery on a $600 phone. I expressed my shock at their price and questioned it but caved and agreed to it when they offered $10 discount I signed up for when I made the appointment. The tech removed my waterproof case gave it to me and told me it would be an hour to replace the battery. Several hours later after charging new battery at home I found a huge gaping hole in my waterproof case where the right side power button used to be. I cannot use my waterproof case with phone inside the case because I cannot reach the side button on the phone with the case button missing. Now I must pay another $65 for a new case. Trusting these people to replace my iphone battery turned out to be outrageously expensive and very stupid. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I highly recommend this place for any repairs! I typically do my own repairs, I replaced the back glass on my phone myself but when I broke the front screen I was looking up the part to replace it on amazon and it was more expensive than having these guys do it, when I went into the store they started explaining how they only use OEM parts and how they actually restore the IP68 water resistance when they replace the glass and how they actually have a test they have to do on the phone before Samsung will allow them to release the phone, anyways when they returned my phone it was basically a brand new phone, they replaced the front glass, the back glass, the metal frame of the phone and the battery plus restored the IP68 water resistance. Couldn't be happier, very great price!!! I will never repair my own devices again... also they fixed my phone within and hour of dropping it off! read more

Hubby took his iPad to have the screen replaced. It was in their shop for a week yet. It still wasn't finished. He called and let them know he needed it. They promised it the next day. He called at 10 o'clock when they opened it still hadn't been done. He went to pick it up at 4 o'clock. The screen on the back side was filthy so he takes it back. A new screen has to be ordered. He brings it home to use it until the new screen is in tries to use it and it's not functioning! This place is a joke will never be going back read more

Do not bring your equipment here if you are filing with Asurion. My laptop sat at this location for days after it was returned by 3rd party repair specialist due to the serial number not being entered in the repair ticket. They did not call to let me know the status. The only way I found out the issue was that I called and they stated they apologize for not calling me, they have been busy. When I went to their store several times, it does not appear to be busy. They also said it was my fault the serial number was not entered and Asurion said it was their fault for not entering the serial number when they mailed it to a repair center. 1 month later and my laptop is still not repaired. read more
