The restaurant is a small, cozy spot tucked into a shopping center off Wurzbach and Vance Jackson, with plenty of parking. It has a very homey atmosphere, and everyone working there was incredibly welcoming. Our waitress was especially kind and took the time to explain the menu and help us choose dishes we would enjoy. They even gave us a card that showed us how to eat the food with the traditional bread, which was such a thoughtful touch. We ordered the meat and veggie combination along with the beef stew, and everything was absolutely delicious. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the beef stew, but honestly, every bite was fantastic. The injera--the soft, spongy sourdough flatbread--paired perfectly with all of the dishes. While it has a slight tang on its own, it balances the rich, flavorful food beautifully. I already can't wait to go back!
