Delicious Pho, Bun Bo Hue and grilled pork banh mi. I got a house special juice here the last few times and I just don't think it's worth the $6 price when they don't even fill it all the way to the top... I would say liquid only fills 3/4 and they add the foam plus ice to make it look a little more than it actually is. Flavour of the bun bo Hue is good but wish it came with the pork bones and pork blood. Also wish they sealed the hole on the lid with tape so it doesn't end up spilling everywhere in the bag. Is it a pho restaurant? Is it a convenience store? Is it a neighbourhood breakfast spot? UFO is all three! This place has been here for as long as I remember. With stiff competition from Golden Turtle and Pho Tien Thanh up in Ossington, you wouldn't think this place is worth a visit. You would be... sort of right. I would say that the two aforementioned places have better quality pho. However, the vermicelli dishes are superior here. That's not to say that the pho is terrible. Quite the contrary; it's pretty good! I haven't had the opportunity to try any of the burgers/sandwiches or breakfast items, but I'll update my review as I eventually make my way through the menu. Confession time: I love greasy spoons Okay, that's not much of a confession as you can see by my reviews there aren't too many salad joints listed, but this is more relevant because UFO has existed down the block from me for almost six year and I've never been. My favorite food in all of Mother Earth is now here. And it's pretty good!!! The broth has a nice rich but not overdone consistency to it. A bit bitter, but marginally so and almost unnoticeable. The noodles were of a buttery consistency, as they should be. And there was plenty of onions (don't go to see your girlfriend after this). Presentation was spot on, and it was quick. The family that run this were all so friendly. Some more talkative than others, but that's cool. Everyone was still nice. Prices are very fair. For a bag of potatoes, large soup with extra noodles and a soda, $18. To infinity and beyond. Worth the trip! UPDATE: Have now been about 5 times, and everything is still great!
