Came to satisfy my Pho craving and also ordered a Banh Cuon which is fresh and delicious. Linh Anh is a Vietnamese chain but I find the Richmond Hill location comfortable and beautifully decorated. The pho soup is flavorful with rich broth and tender meat. The Banh Cuon is now a favourite and I get it without any toppings. The staff are friendly but not as attentive. This place is so pretty and very well decorated! It's spacious and has lots of seats on a weekday evening. The service was pretty fast and the food came out quick. My favourite was the steamed rice rolls. The filling in the rice roll had a peppery flavour and overall very well made. The rolls were also so fresh. It paired well with the sausage, squid cakes and grilled pork. The red soup rice noodle with crab meat had a lot of toppings inside. The broth was tasty and the portions are pretty big, but it's also on the pricier side ($20). It came with the thicker dry rice noodle. I drank some of the soup but came home really thirsty. Beautiful decor. More spacious than other locations (specifically Midland). Everything about this location was bigger. A lot of space, a lot of room, and most importantly, portions of the food were huge! Food was great. Had the banh mi. Bread couldve been crustier but the beef filling was good. Disappointed in that it didnt have any pate though. The grilled chicken and rice dish had a very generous amount of rice. The chicken couldve used a bit more grill time as it was lacking in the smoky flavour department. The vermicelli bowl was massive! Could definately be eaten over two meals. The fried springroll that came with it was delicious! Table comes with sides of garlic slices in vinegar and the chili sauce (always a great addition to the rice dishes). Interesting that there was no option to split the bill. Extra charge for paying with visa but cash discount applied. Lots of parking but usually busy. read more

I went here solo for an early lunch on New Years Eve, and it was already quite busy. Looking at the menu, I was told that this location in Richmond Hill has some unique items that aren't available in the other branches. I had the Banh Da Cua Hai Phong, which is a crab meat based noodle soup, using unique red wide noodles that I've never seen before. There was so many different items in the noodle soup, including grilled beef, sausage, shrimp, fish cakes, and tomatoes. My first time coming to this location at Time Square. Lots of parking for dinner, not too busy. The restaurant has a lot of seatings and even private rooms. We ordered the hot stone bowl pho and the shrimp rice roll. It came with the the beef rib in the hot stone bowl, and I add the rest of the meat and noodles in. This place is located in time square where Ushi Shabu Shabu used to be - their old sign is still on the back of their building.. The place is huge, beautiful decors, lovely sakura-like tree at the front. Lots of Vietnam related decorations in all spots. We got seated right away even though it was on Christmas Day. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this place because we do get delivery a lot and the food was typically mediocre. I actually really enjoyed the food. It was all very delicious. We also got the chicken rice dish as usual and the chicken was very flavourful. The only off part was the fresh roll wrap was a bit tough on one side, although the filling was all very well portioned and balanced. The sauce was amazing. Came later at night about an hour before closing. Place was nicely decorated. Staff were not too attentive have to keep waving to get staff their attention. Seated by the window booths chairs had crumbs on. It wasn't busy only a few tables at that time. Floors felt sticky all the way and including rest room. Staff were doing some sweeping in other spots in the restaurant. Anyhow ordered the crab pho really good, platter was decent size for sharing and pork chop right was good. Food was good no complaints just attention to service and sticky floors were a bit odd/ off. We love the Midland & Finch location and were excited to eat here. This location is much bigger, and there's much more parking here. I like that there is a larger dining area since the other one fills up too quickly. The soup for the bun ca hai phong (fried fish vermicelli noodle soup) was so good I almost drank all of it. Unfortunately, there was too much MSG in it, and we were so thirsty all afternoon. The canh ga chien (honey-glazed chicken wings) had too much honey on them, making them very sticky and very sweet. It's unlikely we'll be back at this location. read more

Linh Anh is expanding rapidly! This latest location has replaced Ushi Shabu Shabu right in the corner at Times Square on the same side as Cafe Bon Bon. They've kept the decor and layout exactly the same as Ushi and haven't changed the interior much. Even the triangle seating near the front of the resto remains! I was sat at a table near the entrance after returning to Richmond Hill from a momentous company day at Wonderland. Ordered S10 which is bun rieu cua. The noodles were thin vermicelli. Not pho noodles. The broth was rich and the bowl had lots of toppings (was trying to avoid the pig's blood cubes but S10 on the menu literally doesn't say what toppings are in the bowl). Good food but I do prefer pho noodles (thick or thin) over vermicelli soup noodles. I'm used to eating my vermicelli dry w/ grilled meats LOL. Service was quite nice. Not all the servers understand english that well but they're quite patient. I definitely think this location beats the OG location in Scarborough next to Sky City. That one is squishy AND the service is derp. Would come back! Price is a lil more compared to 2 other viet spots in its direct vicinity nearby though. read more

I've been anticipating the opening of this location since this past winter & am so glad it finally did! My hubby and I went yesterday right after I finished work. It was around 5:15 p.m. on a Monday so we had plenty of tables to choose from. My hubby ordered the Bo Bit Tet w/eggs which is essentially steak (Vietnamese style) and eggs in a sizzling cast iron pan that comes with pate & a Vietnamese baguette. The steak & eggs was delicious! He said that he didn't really care for the pate & the baguette was over toasted so the entire thing was hard/crunchy. Also, the pan isn't sizzling which is a good thing so the steak doesn't get overcooked. I tried something new and got their Vietnamese red noodle soup with crab meat. It also comes with shrimp, fish cakes, grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves (so good!), sausage (this was missing!), tomato, crispy fried shallots with red thick wide noodles. I really enjoyed this noodle soup! There is such a rich depth of flavor in the broth and all the ingredients tasted fresh. I would definitely get this again after trying a bunch of different dishes on their menu. I love that they have items on the menu that you don't usually see at other Pho restaurants. The ambiance here is very nice! Very spacious, high ceilings and beautifully decorated. I deducted a star off my rating solely due to the fact that I asked a female waitstaff for the bill & she just walks away. We sat there waiting for it to come. After sometime, we looked around & a gentleman came over and asked if we needed something. I told him that we asked for the bill & he told us that we have to go to the front counter to pay. This is a relatively new Linh Anh pho located at hey 7 and Leslie in Richmond Hill. I believe it is their third location (1 in Scarborough and 1 in Markham) First off , the interior is splendid, the furniture and the decor is beautifully done (look at pictures) Onto the food, i ordered their curry chicken with rice. It was ok nothing spectacular But I probably wouldn't order it again. Next time I will stick to a Vietnamese Pho. So there will be a next visit. It was enough of an experience to warrant a return visit. Do I recommend??? I think I'll wait until some more tryouts of their cuisine I'm sure the other menu items are much much better. New Linh Anh location at Times Square. It occupies the space that was previously a shabu shabu. Our last visit to the location across from Markville Mall was memorable in not a good way. This location is closer to home so we decided to give it another try. Renovations to the interior are beautiful. Menu is similar to the other locations. What was ordered this time: Spring rolls Chicken curry with a baguette Rare beef pho Bone marrow pho Quality of food was good. You will definitely have curry left over after eating the baguette, which comes warm and buttered. Flavour for broth was good. The only complaint was that it was not hot enough. On this visit we automatically got spouts and they were warmed first which was nice. In most places you have to ask for this. Service was better then the other location but there were still some misses: - 2 dishes were mistakenly delivered to our table - When the 2 bowls of pho came they were dropped off at the edge of the table, no attempt to determine who it goes to. read more

Newest location inside Times Square in Richmond Hill. This restaurant is most likely the biggest location out of all 3. It's clean, spacious and bright. We came at noon and were quickly seated. We got the special pho, bone marrow with bread and an iced viet coffee. The coffee came first and within 2 minutes, so I think it was all premade (not the drip kind). Pho came next and I was amazed at all the meat toppings! I got fresh noodles and unfortunately, there were both thin and thick noodles. The bone marrow was pretty greasy and it was paired with buttered bread and pate. In terms of prices, it was pretty pricey especially the iced coffee. For $7.95, the glass was pretty small and it was filled with big chunks of ice. I would definitely pick this location over the other two, especially Midland. Parking is much easier too. We decided to give this place a try after watching it on YouTube. The place that was reviewed was in Unionville but we came to the Richmond Hill location because it was closer. We were immediately seated after arriving. The place was very nice looking. The restaurant is long, with booths and regular tables covering the entire floor and rattan lamps hanging over them. A tall cherry blossom tree with red cards in its branches looms over one of the booths and off to the side near the front, you can find a beautiful centerpiece in the form of sand with a small tree in the middle. There is also a nearby counter with mounted cubbies behind it, each cubby holding a different cultural item. We were given a pad and a pencil to write our orders down. We ordered the following: S10 - Bun Rieu Cua - vermicelli noodle, tomato crab base soup. Daughter liked it a lot and thought it was juicy and said that it hits the spot on a cold night. She was happy that it came with pork blood because Hubs was craving it for a while. Every time we order something and expected pork blood, the dish never has it. So, this was an unexpected surprise. She gave it to him to eat because she didn't care for it. Hubs said that this is a busy Bun Rieu and loved it. LOL. He said it was a comforting meal. S13- Bo Tit Tet with eggs, bone marrow - Vietnamese beef steak with roasted bone marrow serve on sizzling cast iron pan, house special sauce, 2 eggs, Vietnamese baguette, pate, mix vegetables, fresh herbs. He didn't see the big deal with the bone marrow and just thought it was a hunk of fat. He loved the amount of herbs given but thought that the beef steak was overcooked. N03- Banh cuon Nhan Thịt Tôm, Cha Mục- steamed rice rolls pork and shrimp with in house signature fried squid cake. I liked it a lot. This was freshly made. We wished that NY would serve this more often. I guess NY is a bit lazy and don't have the time to make it fresh. We loved this dish. They were good with our daughter's peanut allergy. Came here for lunch with my parents and sister! The place wasn't quite packed I'm guessing coz it's a weekday. There were two staff for the entire restaurant which is crazy. This location is double if not triple the size of the Scarborough location. They have beautiful Asian decor with giant vases that decorated the entire restaurant. I've been wanting to come here for awhile. So glad I did co we go the Banh cuon, spring rolls, dac biet pho and the tomato brisket stew. The banh cuon was my favorite it had Vietnamese cold cut sausage along with homemade squid cakes! My mom's fave was the spring rolls which you can also add on as a side order. My dad loved the baguette dipped beef brisket in tomato sauce. Everything was delicious. I'll definitely come back to try the rest of the banh cuon menu! read more
