The technician came out to my house. He started the testing in the garage, and then he went to the side of my house to continue testing, I assume. I waited for about 15 minutes for him to come inside my house to finish the testing. However, when I went back outside to check on him, he was gone. He didn't say anything to me. He just left. I called him and he didn't answer his phone. I even called the company, and no one answered. I left a message. I didn't receive a call back. This company is very unprofessional. The only thing I can think of is racism. I hope that's not the case, but that's what I feel. There are so many reputable exterminating companies with integrity. Initially this company was great when they first came to do the inspection and repairs. I got the 1 year of service from inspection day so if I see wrong or more termite droppings they'll take care of it. Well my first repair date was in early February, I found more termite droppings in late May so I called and set up an appointment for June 2nd and they said the rep will be there in the morning. June 2 comes and it's already noon. I don't hear anything so I call to get an update, they mentioned the rep is another job and is a bit behind. That's fine and I understand. More than two hours pass and still don't hear anything so I call again. They decided to schedule me the next morning on June 3. I'm not as annoyed because I know mistakes happens, but the next morning on June 3 it's past noon again and I call numerous times and send emails and don't hear anything back until June 8th. I was very frustrated as they missed my appointment for two consecutive days and I had to rearrange my plans twice for nothing. They call back and mention they were out of office or something so I give them the benefit of doubt. We reschedule again for June 16th in the morning and it is now June 16th at 2pm and still no sign of a rep or a call regarding an update. Very unprofessional and at this point I have no idea who to reach out to to handle my situation and I am beyond frustrated. I hope the owner sees this and can provide me with further assistance. He sent me a message a little before the appointment window to let me know what time the tech would be arriving. John arrived wearing a mask (due to COVID), introduced himself and presented his business card (complete with license number). They were so knowledgeable I learned so much, I did not have regular termites I had the ones that come out of the ground who knew that was a thing. This company was the best out of the 5 different ones that I had come inspect my house. Most of the companies recommended a fumigation but this is one of the few companies that performed a thorough inspection checking both my attic and my area space finding not only dry wood termites but also subterranean termites which the other companies failed to notice. Also a fumigation which was recommended by the other companies would not have worked for the subterranean termites. I'm glad I took the time to get a few extra estaminets because I would have ended up having to do two separate treatments. thank you ultimate termite control you guys saved me money and taught me about termites I am thankful and I will continue to use your service and share the good news and help other people get excellent service. They were not the cheapest but they were the best. The reason being is the quality of chemical they use and the fact they perform the initial treatment to get termites killed and under control. Also a second treatment at the end of the year and a third treatment at the end of the second year. This amounts to three complete jobs which is something none of the other companies do - I asked several of the companies regarding this and I was informed I had to pay for any follow up treatment up to $1000 a treatments. I hired Ultimate Termite Control (UTC) in the middle of a major flooding disaster that caused us to move the whole family to a hotel, and open up the walls for mold mitigation. Unlike what I usually do to learn the details of what methods being used, and other contracting precautions, I relied on their expertise to tell me if their treatment is sufficient for the purpose of termite extermination. I was assured that it was, and they warned me against the perils of tenting as the alternative. The salesperson Manuel was very courteous and reassuring, and even pointed out one "kick-out" hole for termite droppings after I showed him the dropping on the floor below. He also assured me that there is no subterranean infestation. At the time I had obtained only one other quote from a tent company but because of gravity of the larger situation I assumed we can do it without packing and moving out for three days needed for tenting. So I hired them to do the work which took about 20 minutes to complete the next day for a total of $1800. A week later the droppings were coming out in droves of the same hole. I called UTC, but did not receive a call back until I left a poor review on Yelp. 10 days after the treatment, Manuel called back and was again courteous and promised to send someone for re-treatment. I volunteered to take the Yelp review off until then. After another half day wait the technician arrived, and asked me where I wanted the treatment to go. For the first time I became aware that they have no real idea where to treat. They relied on the fact that my other crew had by-coincidence opened up the walls in several far-in-between places that showed termite droppings. They also rely on legitimate fact that the poison bait would be carried to the nest and kill off the infestation. I was quite unhappy when I learned that I had to open up more walls myself and repair them myself so that we know where to inject since the previous treatment did not work. I asked the technician to leave and called the proprietor back. I cannot recall his name, but if you like being abused loudly over the phone be sure to call this fellow. Between his practically screaming I managed to glean that it may take a few more days for the treatment to work and that he thinks the new droppings are old and one can tell by their color. Not being able to communicate much with him, I hung up and went about to learn how the various methods work. Manuel again called and politely offered to inject at the kick-out hole, but not knowing where else to inject was unsatisfactory for me. I appreciated this courtesy, and despite the "conversation" with the business owner. I first learned that the color of dropping has nothing at all to do with their age. It reflects the color of wood being consumed and the genetics of the termites. I learned about the appropriateness of each type of treatment here: http://ipm.ucanr.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7440.html . I also decided to see how the location of the termites can be detected so that injections aren't done willy-nilly like this company (and many others) do. In fact I also learned that you can even buy the tools and the chemical itself TermidorSC (TaurusSC, or Boracare) for ~$120/gallon. But most importantly I learned about a Doppler radar device called Termatrac which definitively shows the movement of live termites inside a wall. At that time about 25 days had elapsed but the dropping were continuing. I hired a local injection contractor that owned a Termatrac radar to inspect the walls. At over 30 days past the injection treatment, I saw that the device was clearly showing movement inside the walls over a very large area. The area was so large that the contractor himself advised to skip his service and hire a tent company. That was the kind of expertise and professionalism I was hoping to rely on at the start. After getting five more quotes from tenting companies, two of the surveyors also found out there was a subterranean infestation which I was told did not exist. Having paid another $3200 to the tent company, what I learned is: use the local injection ONLY when the contractor has proper expertise and termite detection tools, OR you yourself are sure to know the location AND the extent of infestation. If you are a landlord or live in a termite-happy place with lots of dry wood, you might even consider buying the $3000 Termatrac and the local injection tools to keep them under control on a regular basis. The droppings have stopped. I fully realize once the tent is gone, the house is exposed again but that is the best one can expect for a large infestation. I'll be doing regular treatments into the walls and around the base of exterior myself once a year. Between amazon and youtube I have everything I need. read more

I want to leave this review because I was super pleased with the outcome of the entire process from contacting them and scheduling my appointment and actually speaking with a live person, to having the inspector arrive on time and do a thorough inspection, he was able to find subterranean termites which two other companies did not find and he was very informative and helped me figure out what would be the best approach to treat the termites.. These guys Tailor designed the treatment for my house unlike the other couple companies who came out we're trying to sell me stuff that I did not need, these guys could have tried to sell me more knowing I would have paid it but they only wanted to focus on the termites and not sell me extra stuff which I really really appreciate.. I love the way they handle their treatment process they are clean and neat and extremely polite.. I considered fumigation but after doing some research I found out the fumigation leaves no protection once the tent is removed, so it is technically a knockdown kill and since I am going to be living in this property for years to come I want the house to be protected.. I also learned that Drywood termite swarm usually around September and October and do not want them coming back from a neighbors house because a few of my neighbors we're fumigated and they have already gotten termites back again..I most certainly do not want to get their termites on my house with that being said, I want to protect my house because, I plan on staying here for years to come, and for whatever reason if I do get new termites or see signs of termites they will return at no charge to treat them even if they are in a new area that was not originally found where the other companies would charge because they only guarantee the areas they find unlike Ultimate Termite Control who guarantees the entire property not just what they find.. they back up their job with a two-year guarantee and that covers both types of termites subterranean and Drywood, They also do all of the termite damage repair and dry rot repair themselves they do not subcontract it out, so when they remove the bad word they spray in further or protect the new lumber going in, and like something a handyman would do they take the extra steps that are important to ensure a quality job..These are the little things that set them apart from the other companies, they also do a different treatment that I learned about which is called foaming where they inject into the wall voids to treat the studs inside of the wall that you cannot see, but after the inspection they informed me that this is something that was not necessary but completely up to me if I wanted to spend the extra cash and treat and protect the walls.. I think I will have that done but maybe a year or two down the road, just for the added protection..I only do business with companies that I trust and these guys have proven their trust worthiness I could go on and on but I think it's best for you to see for yourself, give them a call and try them out the inspection is free and takes about an hour.. This is one of the best improvements that I've done to my home and worth every penny.. I just got finished with my follow-up termite inspection which was under a warranty from Ultimate Termite Control and was very impressed with the education I received from their owner, Ryan Berry. He and his associate did a thorough re-inspection of my home in Mission Viejo and was happy to hear that their initial visit a year ago has kept termites from being a recurrent problem. He also explained why their wood repair differentiates them from many of their competitors because of their methods of performing damaged wood replacement are much more quality intensive and do not detract from the home value at all. Their pricing is quite reasonable and they were actually ahead of schedule in their arrival at my residence.
