Highly recommended​. I needed a tv mounted above my fireplace and sent Craig a text. He immediately replied and scheduled the install a few days later. His crew was on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. A week later I asked them to come back for an hour to drop the tv, pull a coaxial cable and install a mount for the Directv genie box. During the second visit,​ two small holes for the mount were accidentally placed in the wrong spot visible above the tv. Everything else went perfectly. Craig immediately took responsibility for his crews mistake and said he would take care of it. He ordered replacement paint, called my painter, scheduled and paid for the whole thing! I only write reviews when I am truly impressed, or extremely unhappy with something. In this case, I am truly impressed! I got my entire home theater room upgraded (new AV receiver, speakers, projector, etc.) through this company. Craig & Charles were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual. Craig was extremely responsive to emails & texts, and he always gave great advice. I purchased most of the home theater room components through him, but when I felt I wanted to get something from Amazon (like the projector screen), he readily accepted my decision and even helped install it at a very reasonable rate. In fact, so reasonable, that I actually ended up saving money on the overall project! I thought if I had gone deal hunting online and bought the stuff myself and installed it myself I would have saved money, but NO, not at all!! I calculated that it was cheaper for me to get all of it purchased and installed through Austin TV Wall Mount Pros since they offered the components at prices lower than any retailer I could find anywhere (seriously... I spent a lot of time researching prices), so even with the price of labor (installation) included, it was a great deal (several hundred dollars cheaper than the lowest estimate I could find). WHAT?! In fact, I got a quote from Best Buy (Magnolia) for the same project, and they quoted me about 30% higher for the full project (they quoted me retail store prices for all the items and also quoted nearly double for labor... moreover, they were pushing certain brands more than others, which was not the case with Craig & team). There are other local companies similar to this one, and many of them might offer great deals too, but none that are as flexible as this one. Did y'all know that Craig can also install stereo equipment? After yelping for help on entertainment system stores, I thought to call Craig and he had the best solution - a wireless Sonos amp, 2 outdoor speakers and 2 ceiling mount speakers. He thought through the details and we can adjust volume on the interior and exterior speakers independent of one another. We downloaded the Sonos app and now anyone in our family can play music from their phone or ipad, including not only Itunes but from Songza, etc. Craig delivered when and as promised and it sounds amazing. I picked up a Sony 75" television over the holidays and needed it installed over a stone fireplace mantle. Best Buy would not touch the job because it involved a down and out, articulating mount. I called around and another home theater company recommended Craig, pointing out that I did not have a home theater problem, I had a mounting problem. The TV needed a LAN cable to our router due to the location of the router and poor WI-FI signal. We also needed the current 55 inch TV moved from the mantle to our bedroom. Craig and his guys reused the existing mounts for the move and it went off without a hitch. They set the mount up and located an existing LAN cable, moving a huge chest / media center in the process. They wired everything up, which required cable pulls through a wall and made sure everything was done in a workmanlike manner. Once they got the TV and new sound bar working they did the most important and impressive part. They extensively tested my A/V receiver and speaker setup. They discovered an issue with the receiver and the hdmi arc setup, troubleshooting it and finally determined that my receiver needed a firmware upgrade. We also discussed my 17,000 different remotes, and with no pressure or sales press, Craig offered that he had a Logitech unit that would simplify my life. Craig stayed almost an hour to set up the remote and get the firmware upgrade done to solve my issue. My tv and mount are awesome and the sound has never been better. I'd recommend Craig for any mounting job and his ability with cabling and wiring was on par with any I have seen. He's also very knowledgeable about home theater setup and pitfalls. He wants things done right and doesn't have silly limitations like big box install services I'd recommend him to my boss. read more

Craig did an excellent job mounting our flat screen TV on the wall. I went to Best Buy the other day and was dismayed at the price of the wall mounts ($125-150) PLUS the $250 the Geek Squad wanted to install the wall mount. The fact that installation was about twice the cost of the thing seemed off to me, so I took to the Internet. Not only was Craig able to provide an excellent price for the mount and installation, he did a great job at hiding the cables so the TV looks exactly the way we wanted it. The two guys that Craig sent to my house were not pleasant - they just hung up the tv in the bedroom without even consulting us on where (position wise) we wanted it. They didn't even center it with the wall, so it looks awful. I had a small metal shelf that needed to be mounted to the wall to hold the dvr box, dvd, etc. The guys got even more rude when I asked them to hang that. I was not in the least bit impressed with Craig. My scenario was a little different in that I had already purchased to mount so I just needed it installed on the wall. I went to the site, and since it was late I sent off an email from the site, asking how much just to install. I got an emailed response with a quote of $65 very quickly. Several days later I tried to contact Craig with the phone number on the site and in the email, but received a message that the mailbox was full. I texted a message to the number, asking if they did evening or weekend installs. We agreed to last Monday evening. On my way home from work he texted he would be running late which was fine and wanted to know if we would be mounting the tv and hiding wires. Since we had had no formal conversation, I had no idea what all of the options were and it seemed like options should have been presented in the initial email response. From the moment he walked in the door he was obviously in a hurry. After clarifying what he expected to do for "mounting the tv and hiding wires" I discovered this included adding an electrical box behind the tv so the wires were hidden. That was going to be an additional $70. After making a quick decision about wanting that to happen, he went to work. After putting in the electrical box and looking at hanging the mount, he had not left enough room between the cable box and the electrical box he added, so we had to decide what other option to go with. One of his suggestions was to move the electrical box over a couple of inches and hang the mount over the hole that would be created by this. Not my idea of a good solution. It seems he had no plan, did not communicate the options, but did communicate he was trying to get to some bar to listen to music and rattled on about the scene I guess he thought I would be interested in. Although the tv got mounted, we have since discovered he took out some of the sheet rock around the electrical box he tied into and the plate does not cover it all. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Just thought I should share this with you. Perhaps he is great if he is not trying to get to a bar. All he had to do is reschedule. read more
