I was just looking for something that didn't seem excessively calorific and thought I would spin the proverbial bottle with the 60 Morris ghost kitchen operation. This spot appeared to fit the bill, so I ordered the $11.95 Chicken Greens Bowl. The pulled chicken was the protein upon which the bowl was assembled starting with a bed of mixed greens and shredded cabbage. I was hoping the chicken would be a bit more savory, but it was a bit dried out. Water chestnuts, steamed broccoli, cauliflower florets, carrots, green onion, and toasted sesame seeds filled the rest of the container. I thought it was decent enough meal given a fusion touch with chili oil and a lemon garlic soy sauce on the side (photo: https://bit.ly/3GEcPbC). I have to admit I was more satisfied with the $5.95 Coconut Greens Smoothie which consisted of spinach, pineapple, banana, lime juice, and coconut milk (photo: https://bit.ly/3GEcVju). It was thick enough to please and none too sweet. FOOD - 3 stars...ingredients were good but execution was slightly off AMBIANCE - n/a...it was a delivery SERVICE - 3.5 stars...everything was packed appropriately TOTAL - 3 stars...looking for the umami RELATED - Exploring SoMa? Organic Tofu Rice & Cabbage Bowl

I love how the tofu cabbage bowl tastes but the protein portions are so so tiny :( I actually ordered extra chicken for my tofu bowl to try and fill up but unfortunately the tiny portion of chicken wasn't enough either. This doesn't feel like it's worth $20+.

Wagyu Beef Rice & Cabbage Bowl

I ordered lunch via Caviar and was really happy with the flavor, quality, and portion size! Would definitely order again for weekday lunches. Wagyu Beef Rice & Cabbage Bowl ($23.95) - the cardboard delivery box was stuffed to the BRIM with veggies and beef. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) were fresh and crispy. I particularly liked that the bowl had water chestnuts, which added a refreshing crunch to each bite. The wagyu beef bowl option was on the pricier side, but the menu has lots of very affordable chicken/pork options for less the $13. Coconut greens smoothie ($5.95) - healthy and refreshing. Nice tart bite from the lime and pineapple and not too sweet

Protein Lover Rice & Cabbage Bowl

As a girl who lifts, lemme tell y'all I LOVE my protein - gotta get them gains in hehe. So of course I had to order the protein lover bowl, specifically rice and cabbage bc I like a mix of grains and greens. The name of the bowl is indeed fitting as this meal was packed with tofu, chicken, and pork. There was also a lot of different veggies. The sauce was a lot runnier than expected but combined with the chili oil crunch, added a needed seasoning to the bowl. Overall I will say this was an interesting combination, and claim the bowl may have been trying to do a little too much. But I still enjoyed my meal. I felt healthy eating it and I definitely got my protein in w this hearty portion.

    Chicken Greens Bowl

Ordered from door dash, I paid extra for 2 portions of meat - tofu and chicken, and got this - a bunch of veggies and 2-3 tiny shredded pieces of chicken!! Why are you so stingy with the chicken?! Not worth the price at all. And the avocado is rock solid. You're basically paying 15-20$ for some boiled veg

I havent took a bite yet, look how small the chicken portion is.

They are always consistently good. For my entree I had the Cumin Braised Lamb with noodles and it was equally enjoyable. The lamb was so tender, pulled, and fragrantly braised. The broth, green beans and other ingredients were spot on, along with the delicious glass like noodles. The bit of spiciness was spot on. It comes in a bowl. At first we thought maybe the place had closed because the entrance was locked and there were no informational signs on how to actually enter. We started to leave but I decided to try the nondescript callbox. I don't think the reception even said anything, just buzzed the door opened. We came on a very slow Sunday, so maybe during other times the door is unlocked or they have someone in the lobby, not sure. Anyways, we take the elevator upstairs and enter a nice, upscale restaurant and bar. As mentioned, it was a super slow Sunday, so the place was completely empty except for a private party in the lounge area. We told the hostess we're just going to grab some drinks and headed to the bar. The bartender instead told us we should take the table near the window to get a nice view. So we did. And that's what the AI was talking about. At the end of the bar is a high top table for about 8 people that has a great view of San Francisco, in particular Coit tower. We order some drinks, no food since we're having dinner soon. Drinks were solid. The drinks were actually pretty reasonably priced. Given the upscale nature of the restaurant I would have thought most of the cocktails would have been more than $20 but I think all our drinks were less than $20 except my Black Manhattan. Because it was a super slow World Cup Sunday we essentially had the place to ourselves and it was a great hangout spot for some drinks before R&G Longe crab feast. Overall, I'd recommend coming here for a drink and checking out the view. I'll try to comeback for dinner too if I'm in the mood for a more refined Chinese dinner.

We all had to order the $118 prefix menus and we ordered the vegetarian fried rice for my daughter. Every dish was just okay. Nothing special about it and the portions are very small. I expected dessert to be included for $118 but nope! Roasted Black Cod with scallion oil, egg whites and cloud ear mushrooms was probably the best out of all the dishes. It was unfortunate that the boba drink also was not available. The interior was nice and service was overall decent though. I just don't think I would justify paying $118 for a prefix menu where all the dishes were pretty small portion for that price in my opinion.

There are so many amazing dishes but I would really recommend coming with a group and experiencing this spot family style. That's the way to do it. Parking can be tough so it's not a bad idea to take alternative transit options. Also this spot can be super packed at popular dinner and lunch hours like on the weekend. For the salads I highly recommend the tea leaf salad especially if you've never had it before. It's quite unique. The mango salad is quite good too with the unripen mangos so it isn't super sweet. It has a zesty dressing. The rainbow salad is good but it's more like a cold noodle dish and less greens so depends on what you are looking for. The samusa soup is good! The coconut chicken soup and noodle dishes used to be my favorite thing on the menu. But now it's a little to heavy, creamy, and rich for me. I would recommend sharing this one because it's so tasty. I love their coconut rice great with any of their curries or to complement the protein dishes. The garlic noodles don't wow me but they're good and great to go with a meal. The sesame chicken is good and tangy but it is breaded chicken. So depends on if you are up for that. The chili lamb is super good and so is the beef curry. They have a rice dish with chicken and shrimp that is good too. If you are okay with sweet things the mango chicken is good. And then they have some spicy dishes that are good if you like the spice. I don't love their green beans which is sad because I usually like this style of green beans which. They're a little spicy for my taste but maybe that's exactly what you are looking for.
