Cute little restaurant. Wasn't busy on a Saturday afternoon. I was impressed with how fast unit food got ready since we had a larger party. They had high chair and booster chairs available for kids. We got squid balls as appetizer and it was delicious and super crisp. The ramen was just ok for me. I didn't love the soup base flavor but everything else in there was great. The pork was nice and crisp. I got chicken fried rice for the kids and it tasted great. We were celebrating a birthday and they were so accommodating. FYI the parking spots are very tight right in front of the restaurant but luckily plenty of parking further away.

Everytime we're in the area we try to go here. Ramen is so good we'll eat it when it's 100 degrees out. Sushi is pretty good too. Very quiet and clean restaurant for sure.

Absolutely delicious -- this is officially my new favorite ramen spot. Everything was so flavorful and comforting, you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. The restaurant itself is super clean and really cute, which made the experience even better. Customer service was amazing too -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. This ramen spot is very good. The server is nice, the space is intimate and offers a calm environment. We had the stewed pork ramen, the spicy miso ramen, and pork gyoza. This place is also in a shopping center that has a movie theater and a boba tea spot nearby. This is a great spot for a nice meal.

Very flavorful & Satisfying Ramen Soups it's a perfect cozy restaurant, nice & clean with revolving customers, get busy. Nonetheless service is A+ and if you don't think so then you're just mean lol! Dined in and ordered the following - 1 Fried Chicken Ramen = $14.95 - 1 Seafood Ramen = $16.95 - 1 Shabu Beef Rice = $15.95 - 1 Calamari = $7.98 SUBTOTAL = $55.83 TAX = $4.33 TIP = $10 TOTAL = $70.16 Delicious!!! I specifically ordered the seafood ramen for myself and wish there were more seafood. Had some fish balls, shrimp, scallops and mussel (only one). Regardless 5/5. Very small inside yet pretty spacious.

I've eaten here twice in the past few months and have really enjoyed the food both times. Yesterday, I had the Shabu beef ramen. The flavor was excellent but the amount of meat was a bit lacking. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was small but cozy. This isn't the best ramen I've ever had, but it's hard to beat unless you drive closer to Los Angeles. If you're craving ramen near Chino, I'd highly recommend giving this a try.

5 stars for their tonkotsu ramen - chasu pork great, plenty of toppings, 2 eggs, yummy noodles, and non oily delicious broth. Adequate portion size, good service, and nice atmosphere. This is a gem of a place that needs to be shared for ramen lovers. Leaves your stomach feeling happy and full.

My family & I stopped by after school and we were so happy we did! The waiter was kind & patient. We came on a somewhat warmer day so we had the restaurant to ourselves. Im not really a ramen person , but the Tonkotsu Ramen is really good here . The soup base was 10/10 and the pork was so tender and savory. I also enjoyed the mango smoothie . The service was great, even though there was only 1 server working at the time . We didn't have to wait too long for our food even though they were busy the server even checked up on us and refilled our drinks. The ambiance was good . There was nothing to complain about. I will definitely come back for the Tonkotsu Ramen! read more

Very hidden ramen shop in a quiet plaza. Ramen was good, noodles were al dente and married with the broth, chashu was great (wish i had more!) Sushi was amazing. For a ramen shop, was not expecting quality sushi but damn that was some good sushi. Forgot to take photo of Alaska Roll til i was almost out. Highly recommend! For all the praises, takoyaki was ok. 1st time here and we loved it ! I ordered the Tonkotsu and shabu beef Ramen and it was delicious! The broth isn't salty at all ! It was just right !! Ordered the caterpillar , dragon roll , Philadelphia roll and spicy tuna roll . All of our order was so good !! Compliments to the chef ! We will be coming back . The place is also very clean and modern feel to it ! It's going to be our Go To ramen and sushi place from now on . Very solid find for a good bowl of ramen. I had their Tonkotsu Ramen which seemed simple enough. It comes with chashu, bean sprouts, corn, bamboo shoot, red ginger, green onion, fish cake and a soft boiled egg. A delicious broth which required no doctoring. The place is small and unassuming a looks like its family run. Their kids were sitting quietly at a table and the prices were par for the course. read more

I have to be honest it's not the best ramen, I wish their tonkotsu was creamier but that's just me. It is still a decent ramen joint in Chino. They're pork/chicken cutlets are bucket batter and cooked - super crunchy! Their takoyaki wasn't bad either, not enough tako inside but 6 pieces for $5.95 is great. I was craving takoyaki so this definitely satisfies my craving. I came with a party of 12, the rest of the tables were full with couples. The waitress said they never had so many guests inside but she was very accommodating to all of our orders. If you're thinking about trying it and need to satisfy a craving this is a decent spot. Prices are what you would expect and I think their portion sizes are a tad larger than mosts. read more

I liked how the portion was pretty big and had great & speedy service; waited only 5 mins for my to-go. The noodle texture was on the softer side, not really my thing ( I prefer a firmer noodle) but it's still pretty good Broth was nice and dense & had a very subtle pork flavor, ramen soft boiled egg was a bit salty, and the chashu was alittle tough ( I prefer tender texture) but flavor was very good. Overall, good experience, if I'm in the area, I'll go again. read more

For how quiet, quant, and small this location is... It never seizes to amaze me how fantastic the broth is for each ramen dish. I generally enjoy spicy broth, so if that's your go to, you'll love the spicy miso. The meat is juicy and tender enough to soak up the spices from the broth. This restaurant single handedly proves you don't need all the hustle and bustle of an expensive restaurant. Just great soup, and great service. read more

My dad and I visited this restaurant one day because I was craving ramen. Big mistake. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen ($9.99) and Mango Smoothie ($3.75). The smoothie was more like a slushie and was super sweet, this coming from someone who LOVES sweet drinks. The ramen was not edible... sorry to say. First off, I was kind of disappointed that the menu did not mention there were little ground bits of meat in the ramen. I don't enjoy meat much and I'm used to giving my chashu (pork) to my dad, but it was really difficult to find every little piece of ground meat. On top of that, the broth had no flavor and was not even spicy. The ramen noodles were very chewy and stuck together. Everything about the dish was a mess... a huge disappointment. To top it all off, they have signs on the walls that encourage customers to write a 5 star review on Yelp in exchange for a free drink. That was a huge turn off and is so unethical. I like to visit restaurants that have good ratings based off of their food and service, not bribes. read more

We had to try this little hidden ramen spot on a cold night. There was one women working but she was doing it all;taking orders, bringing them out and cooking them. I usually get spicy but decided to stick to the house miso which was a great idea. The broth was Foxboro and had the thick umami flavor I look for in ramen, the egg was silky and it was just what we needed to warm up. One thing to keep in mind is that the bowls don't automatically include the salted egg, so you'll have to shell out a few extra dollars if you want that classic topping. While the meal itself was a hit, the logistics of the meal were a bit more frustrating. The service was fairly lackluster and felt mostly absent; we waited quite a while for attention, and the overall pace was very slow. It's the kind of place where you have to be proactive if you need a refill or the check. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is a major concern. Everything felt "sticky" from the tables to the floors and the bathrooms were definitely not well-maintained. It's hard to fully enjoy a premium-priced meal when the environment feels a bit neglected. On a brighter note, the location is very convenient. Since it's tucked into a large strip mall, parking is incredibly easy and stress-free, which isn't always the case in Chino Hills. If you are a "food first" person who doesn't mind a bit of grit and slow service, the ramen is worth a try, but the management could definitely step up the cleaning

Service was never their strength, but we glanced over it since it's the only descent shabu shabu restaurant on the area. Over the past few months, service has gotten exponentially worse with each visit. Our final straw was being seated and left unacknowledged for 10 minutes. No drink orders, no "we'll be right with you", nothing... This would've been the point of walking out, but my kids were saying they were hungry and going to another restaurant at that point would've been too late for their bedtime. I ended up walking up to a server who was about to help another table that was seated after us and said we'd like to order as no one's helped us. After finishing what he was doing, he walked up to our table with an ordering tablet and didn't say a word, just stood there staring at us. He took our order, got it wrong a few times, then FINALLY got our food. Not one server checked in on us the whole meal. Not one server offered the check. Just constant flagging down servers for everything. As I mentioned before, I reached out to management via email to try and bring this up on a professional level, but my multiple emails were left unanswered. I write this not to bash a business, but in hopes management sees this and starts correcting how their staff operates to not destroy an otherwise good restaurant.

I reckon their x-tra hot level is comparable to the Reaper at Dave's Hot or 1930 at Clyde's. It's hot whatever it is. It was almost to the point of uncomfortable and not enjoyable. But I powered through it and now I know I'd probably be just a Hot guy here and leave those scorpion hot peppers off my chicken next time. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and got the line moving quickly. My only quibble was that they charge for extra sauces, where most places like Dave's just give you an extra on the house. It just smells a little of nickel and diming your customer and will probably be the main reason why I'll still choose Dave's over Angry Chickz. The space is great. There are a lots of seats, the place is sufficiently active, and it just has a good flow to the layout. All in all, it's a good addition to the Hot Chicken market with some truly fiery tenders. It's not completely my jam, but it's a good emergency option for now.

I tried this ramen spot in Chino Hills for the first time and I was seriously impressed! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and super clean. Perfect for a comforting meal. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced, and the portion size was just right. The service was also great!
