So I'll start with what's usually most important to me... the food is really good. Like really, really good! If that's all you care about, stop here. It's definitely a place for when you want to splurge because there's nothing healthy about it, but I'm sure you don't go to a sports bar for health food. I will also say that I had one of the best beers I've ever had from their tap. So why the three stars? We went during the pandemic for outdoor dining and a server came over to us, several times though she wasn't our server, with her mask entirely under her chin and her nose and mouth completely uncovered. She also leaned in closely, again essentially maskless. For me, this warrants knocking off at least two stars (maybe more), for an otherwise five star review, because we almost left. What good is having great food and beer if people don't even taste it because they don't feel safe? We only stayed because our actual server did wear a mask properly and we initially thought we'd only have the one encounter with Ms. Nomask, but we were wrong, she came back about three times. I unfortunately don't think our experience was a fluke because she seemed completely comfortable keeping her mask under her chin, as if as long as it was near her face, she was (reluctantly) following the rules. As good as the food was, I will not be back. I cannot support an establishment which allows such disregard for public health and safety. read more

Can't say enough. The best burgers around and and there whole menu rocks. Bar staff is amazing! They are even open for to go orders and they are doing everything right during this tough time. The food here is just okay, it's your typical bar food, fried this, fried that! We ordered a few appetizers...bratwurst bites (which I didn't try at all), chicken wings (which is okay), twisted fries (just okay), and some chicken tenders (which lacked very little flavor at all). Service here is just okay, she came by every now and again to check on us. Even though this place is just around the corner from us, I don't think I will be back. We have been coming to UB for the past year for Football season. Today was the first time where the service was horrible! It appeared that there was one bartender and one waitress. The waitress never acknowledged us so we went up to the bar to get our drinks. I observed the bartender was annoyed and rolled her eyes at a patron, I'm sure it was due to being short staffed! I used to really like this place. I don't know what happened here.... The place is packed, so perhaps they changed the menu and figured it meant they didn't have to try as hard. I ordered the Mac and chicken and let me tell you on a scale of 1-10, this is maybe a 4 only because the chicken wasn't terrible. I was led to believe it was Mac and CHEESE and chicken but there was no cheese to be found. The chicken was decent, the Buffalo sauce was overwhelming. The two other people at the table ordered the BBQ plates. One ordered fries as a side. Being gluten intolerant it would have been nice to know they battered their fries. That aside, the pulled pork was moist but lacked flavor. The brisket and tri tip were nearly inedible but she was hungry so she attempted to eat it. The other plate had the Mac and "cheese" and also there was no cheese to be found. His pulled pork was also lacking and evidence of any rub whatsoever. The tri-tip and brisket had no evidence of smoke and was overdone. All three dinners arrived cold. We have supported this establishment throughout Covid and although we would like to continue to support small business, when food is this bad we just can't. Side note, the booze was at least standard issue. $170 for a dinner that a diner could have done a better job at for less than half the price. read more

Love this place, drinks are reasonably priced. Great happy hour and they have a very large conversation bar Food has never disappointed, in fact I have a slight addiction to their Chop Salad I eat it at least once a week The staff is always VERY friendly They have an outdoor patio that is pet friendly and the establishment is always clean !! My only negative is when I call to order take out it always goes to an answering machine so I can NEVER order before I get there This happens at least twice a week and the only other thing they need to improve on to be perfection... is the amount of staff. The bartenders are wonderful and never looked stressed but I could sure use a refill and they are always so busy waiting on all tables So you have to be very patient They do a great job just not a 5 star review in service It's one of my go-to places and I've never had a bad meal here !! read more

My wife and I are visiting from out of town and found these guys on yelp. I must say, it did not disappoint. We intended on just staying for the morning football game to grab a couple of drinks. We ended up staying for both games. We received excellent service and the food was much better than any other sports bar I have been to. We had the pulled pork with Uncle Bob fries and the Black and Umpire. In fact, I would put their food up against most restaurants. The atmosphere is clean, friendly, and full of TVs. Man... I walked into this place today and immediately felt unwelcome.. first of all I walk in with my friend who is African American and as soon we took our first steps in to the place every single person in there, customer and employees just look at us as if we were in the wrong place... straight giving us the death stare.. no greeting.. no welcoming.. shit, not even a person willing to seat us or even take our order... absolutely disgusted in a place that displays this type of negative energy.. we ended up standing there for a few minutes waiting to be serviced and after nobody could say a word other than stare at us we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave. Funny how there was 10-15 people in there all seated and eating and drinking.. can you guess what majority of those peoples race was?... terrible terrible service. So disappointed with the burger of the month, (turkey) When we ordered we were told it would be 20 minutes because the turkey was frozen. Weird that the burger of the month is not readily available but ok. 30 minutes later after asking waitress to check on it we were told the turkey is not ready and had not been cooked yet. Would we like to order something else? By this time I'm not hungry just disappointed. We are still waiting for the replacement sand which and so far we have been in holding pattern for45 minutes total. Chicken sandwich arrived and was good. Service was ok. Terrible customer service from the bartender, pretty sure her name was Holly, the girl with a pissy look on her face. She had zero banter with any customers. I dropped a $150 tab. Came by for some college football bowl games. The food was okay, but for the price I expect more. I had the ace burger. Beer selection is impressive. Lots of local choices. There is lots of talk about a future menu but for a place that has now been open for more than a couple months, you'd think they'd have a grasp on the menu. Staff was nice enough, nothing really exception though. The decor that everyone is raving about is pretty stereotypical: License plates, Faux brick accents, team banners. Nothing really original about this place until you get the men's room where you can look up the skirt of a mannequin on her knees. Pretty tacky though to a man with daughters in high school. Are you a restaurant or a frat house? I'll pass on future visits. I can spend $50 on a better meal in Temecula. read more

Service A+, Food A+, many TVs.... We have been here a couple times and impressed. The staff has been great and food was great. We tried a mid day lunch and Friday night dinner... My third trip here. Previous two times I had the wings. Which were awesome! Second time around I had the pulled pork sandwich. That was awesome as well. Tonight I had The Heater. Burger with roasted jalapeños, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, candied bacon bits (which I couldn't taste) and habanero sauce. I didn't add anything to the burger. Due to my previous two meals being great. However, I recommend adding veggies and maybe pickles to the burger. There was no taste, no flavor, just heat.
