Chose this place because of strong reviews and owner responses to feedba Went off the happy hour menu. Caribbean pork tacos, chips and salsa. The food passed the visual test. Chips and salsa was solid. Salsa was a little on the sweet side and could have used some heat. The jerk tacos were real good. Perfect crunch, nice smoke flavor on the chicken and good sweetness with the pineapple salsa. The biggest thing missing from the tacos was some heat. It doesn't have to be blazing but i would like to see some heat with jerk tacos. Solid service, the bar tender did the right amount of quality checks and was super professional. Solid spot and good meal.

Good bar food, food came fast, decent cordial service. Dim lighting, fairly quiet for a bar. They offered high tops low tops or seating at the bar. I ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna Po Boy for $16.95 Blackened ahi tuna, cajun mayo, Andouille bacon, lettuce, tomato & house made pickles served with Carolina slaw. It was a large tasty sandwich, the blackening was mild. Seasoned fries or side salad accompanies. They do have home made ranch dressing. We also ordered Uncle Bucks Burger the burger was medium which is ok we did request medium well. Truffle Mac n Cheese the Mac had a strong truffle flavor for truffle lovers. A shareable side of cheese curds served with ranch, large curds very tasty.

THESE DUCK NACHOS ARE DELICIOUS! It's an Asian take on nachos with wonton chips and mandarin oranges. All the toppings went perfectly together. I will order again but forget about it being a shareable. This is a meal!

We stopped in for a quick bite before the Bulls v Bucks game-- really friendly service and quick service got us to the game in plenty of time. The ambiance is standard sports bar, the menu has a nice variety, and the prices are mostly fair, but Really? a credit card fee tacked on at the end? The food was hit the spot-- the UB burger was good sized with a nice bun and cooked to order. The pulled pork was smoky and tasty. The potato chip meets fry hybrid didn't do it for me. It's a two minute walk to the arena-- nice!

Time for a refresh. Met some friends for dinner a few nights ago, and we were blown away by most of the dishes we shared. For being a sports bar, most of the menu items exceed the expectations of "bar food." We ordered their cheese curds, which were recommended by our server Emily (she was great, btw!) and added the Duck Nachos and Bacon-wrapped Venison meatballs which are two items we normally don't find on menus in town, let alone sports bar menus. They use a combination of dyed (cheddar-color) and undyed (white) cheese curds, and the batter ratio was solid, as was our cheese pull. The Duck Nachos are made with crispy wonton chips and topped with peppers, cheese, and pieces of mandarin orange, which seems unusual (and it is), but think about it...the French put orange and duck together in Duck L'orange, so it is already a proven pairing, and it works well with the wonton chips and peppers! The meatballs were served in a Romesco sauce with fresh sauteed mushrooms and baguette, so you could build a second appetizer putting the mushrooms amd Romesco on the baguette! Super good combo appetizer with good texture and seasoning in the meatballs! For entrees, we ordered the Smokehouse burger, Truffle Mac-n-Cheese, Blackened Ahi Tuna Po'boy, and Spinach, Pancetta, and Brussels sprouts salad. Again, burger and mac-n-cheese are common sports bar menu items, but definitely not Blackened Ahi Tuna and this amazing salad! The po'boy was topped with crispy Andouille bacon and Cajun mayo. It might have been my favorite dish, definitely the dish I was most plesantly surprised by! The Smokehouse burger was topped with crispy bacon AND tender smoked brisket! We ordered it medium, and it was perfectly cooked to order, which rarely happens when I order burgers anywhere. The Truffle Mac-n-Cheese was perfectly balanced, so the truffle was subtle and not overpowering. You have the option to add grilled chicken, shrimp, salmon, ahi tuna, or bacon for a small upcharge. We didn't add a protein. The sandwiches and cheese curds come with fries, and they're some of the best fries I've ever had - like EVER! They are hand-cut, or fresh-cut, whichever term you prefer, but they have a unique shape and they are pefectly seasoned, and crisp with a soft center, and I could eat a basket of them with nothing else and be very happy! My friends agreed. Everything was delicious, and we all agreed we would return to try more menu items, such as their wings and chicken and butternut squash crepe! Don't sleep on this place!

Food: 9/10 first time eating here and got the wonton nachos. Highly recommend. The mandarin oranges were a welcome addition to the games at play and the wonton chips were light, yet crispy. They also have a pretty good beer list. Cocktail list is smaller, but you can ask for any of the classics. Service: 9/10 we got served pretty quickly and didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waitress also recommended the nachos and she was on point with those. Ambiance: 9/10 definitely a cool spot. I've only seen the downstairs, but it is a multilevel building. It's pretty big and had some good Halloween decorations. There was also a claw machine with white claws in it called "Claw for Claw", which was funny. Overall: super solid, good place to watch some sports with big TVs. Pretty excited to go back there and experience it at night/during a Buck's game.

Coming back for our brunch with my littles and everything was amazing. We were Instantly greeted with warm welcomes, our server was on top of everything and the food was spectacular. Michael was an amazing host and made this experience memorable for my family and I.

We stopped in here after the river cruise. Customer service 5/5, quality of food 5/5. My husband ordered a burger and said it was the best burger he has ever had. Our son also had a burger that he said was good. I ordered the Ahi tuna sandwich and the flavors in it were so rich and good. Highly recommend this place. Atmosphere, customer service, food - all 5/5!!!

Grilled chicken with fries. Nice spice on them.. Kind of like everything but the bagel spice mix

Great atmosphere at uncle bucks! We came to watch the Packers and although they didn't start serving food until 12 once we ordered our food came out super quick. Uncle bucks had kind of a 19th century hunting lodge meets water st bar motif (if that's a thing) but overall I really liked it. It is pretty standard bar type fare but their fries had an "everything but the bagel" type spice mixture on them which really made em stand out. Because this is prime real estate overlooking the beer garden and adjacent to fiserv prices are a little on the high side ($13 for chicken/burger and fries) but everything tasted really good and service was excellent.

I loved the concept of District Fore, it was like Topgolf meets arcade meets backyard cookout. They offered many different games, such as a golf simulator, darts, and more. They usually only allow customers to rent out a game room in hour-long increments, but we were able to pay for a half hour of darts because we only had that much time before we had to leave for our event. I really appreciated the hospitality from all the staff during my visit to District Fore! We didn't eat dinner at District Fore, so I only got to try the cheese curds. They were so buttery and crispy, and the cheese pulls rivaled those of the Chili's mozzarella sticks! They were also much bigger in size than other cheese curds I have had during my time in Milwaukee. One order of the cheese curds appetizer was the perfect size to share between the four of us. I would love to see a District Fore Social open in my hometown, because I would definitely love to go back!

I surprisingly don't have many options in my "MKE - Fish Fry" collection that are near downtown, but Swinging Door Exchange was one of them. I was pressed for time, so I placed a to go order rather than dining in. I got the combo fish fry (two pieces of cod, two pieces of perch, and three fried shrimp) with potato pancakes. I was also very easily talked into the half rack rib appetizer. The ribs were good, even though I prefer sauce that's more sweet and smokey. Their sauce was on the tangy side with a tease of spice that really only became noticeable when the majority of the half rack was gone. If I were in the mood for ribs as my main meal, I'd consider getting theirs as an entree. The two potato pancakes weren't homemade; instead, they were premade hash brown patties that some other restaurants also serve with their fish frys. These were perfectly acceptable in lieu of homemade pancakes. The cod tasted great, but the breading didn't hold up very well. Either the fish itself was too wet or the two block walk back to my car allowed for condensation to wreck it or possibly both. The perch was not yellow lake perch but probably something like pike perch. Even though both kinds of fish and the shrimp were all good sized portions, $29 feels like a lot. I wouldn't say no to it, though, if I were dining in next time and avoid the extra cost of their takeout fee. Shout-out to the bartenders working that night. The bar area was absolutely packed, but both of the ones I talked to about placing my order were friendly and helpful even with being super busy.
