I love this place and it makes me spend way too much money all the stuff tastes amazing, the portions are huge and their variety is to die for. Try the ghost pepper cheese if you're adventurous! I hope they get a place in Florida!

Another update for Uncle Giuseppes in East Meadow NY. A man was singing with a wireless mic. Songs of long ago . Kay sera sera an old Doris Day sing and Thats amore, done by Dean Martin. Thing is , there was nothing with his name on it and workers didn't know. I stopped in for a fresh fruit bowl made that morning. The fruit was just ok not really sweet. Same for the slice of watermelon.

I liked it all good parking with entrance in the back and front. A wonderful deli counter. Fine tomatoes and fresh vegetables. As you move through you find fresh semolina bread and quality meat.let's not forget the Italian cookies. I think it's time to mask up get here for a Christmas meal.

As I have written on my other Uncle Giuseppe's location reviews, this store chain is one of my favorite Italian food marketplaces. Uncle Giuseppe's provides imported specialty meats, a large selection of deli items, baked products, fresh seafood, prepared dinners, fresh pasta, and an assortment of cheese. I have been a regular customer since I discovered the existence of Uncle Giuseppe's. My goal for today is to visit Uncle Giuseppe's to order their Zucchini Mulino. If I forget to order it again, I am sure I will be reminded by my Yelp Elite friend. Hopefully, I will not find myself traveling all day looking for the Zucchini Mulino at all their Long Island locations.

Ask the Community - Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace

Does every Uncle Giuseppe's have its own bakery or is there one bakery that delivers to all the stores? Same question for the cooked meals?

Hi Elizabeth, We have bakeries in all of our locations except for East Meadow and Port Washington. Both of these locations are supplied by another Uncle Giuseppe's location. Cooked meals are prepared at every location.

Great store if you have never been here but overall, the prices here are high. its like an ikea maze with whole foods prices. they are known for animated displays that sing lyrics and quotes, an incredible selection of baked goods, soft serve flavors, and their fresh daily lobster rolls. They have some novelty items like candied bacon, freshly made kettle corn, flavored milks, food stations like burgers, lobster rolls, and whole shrimp sample stations. their $16 lobster roll is a great deal. i got a good amount of meat on my hot dog bun and would recommend it if you have never been here and are craving lobster that day. their corn bread baked goods are great too. soft serve flavors are basic vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, mango fruit, strawberry, and raspberry. the yogurt version of the vanilla and chocolate are not tart. they are just made with a yogurt base. It's a great experience, and i enjoyed my time there! However, i would not do my groceries there as most things are 30-50% more expensive (oreos was $8.99, peanut butter $6, 2 lb carrot $3)

Westbury's 99 Ranch does a good job at catering to the local patrons as I see a nice selection of plant-based milks and gluten-free products that I don't usually see at Chinese grocery stores. The ice cream selection is great, but it is more focused on popsicles compared to the HMart in Jericho which has a wide range of unique Asian-inspired ice cream flavors. Most of the cashiers here do speak at least some English. In addition to the very wide range of Asian grocies that 99 Ranch carries, I also really enjoy their food court. There are lots of ready-to-eat sides and meals as well, though you can shop for most anything to make great and tasty homemade dishes. The deli line can be long, however the staff is always courteous and prompt. The aisles are compact but well-organized and nicely-presented and the store is notably always very clean. Produce is especially good compared to most other grocery stores in the area. Some of my favorite pick-ups include the sliced fruit tray which consists of pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon, the mozzarella and grilled eggplant, garnished with basil and complete with an olive oil and balsamic dressing on the side, and the potato salad which is nice and chunky and not overly mayonnaise-y tasting. The meat section has a good diversity of burger types, chicken, steak and other meats and can be purchased at the counter or meat display. Additionally, I often find a well-priced special on cleaned shrimp at the seafood counter and make sure I get some fresh broccoli and garlic for a great stir-fry or pasta dish. The cheese selection is always plentiful as well, including many different types of Italian and other European cheeses. And I cannot forget to mention the olive bar, bakery section which includes some gluten/free items prepackaged in the refrigerated section as well as an aisle for gluten-free cookies, crackers and frozen gluten-free pastas (wild mushroom ravioli is my favorite pick of the frozen foods). Additionally, the general selection of marinades and other curated culinary accoutrements is impressive. I am usually there once or twice a week and it's a pleasant and easy shopping experience every time!

I completely get that the weather was extremely cold but to pick up the hero's and them to be completely frozen to the point of me having to not only try and thaw them by placing them close to the heater (which only made them worse) but having to cut them because of the lazy employees that work there just can't finish doing a simple task I also had to throw out all the tomatoes because they were frozen solid and the lettuce started to brown. I'm not the only person who this happened to and when I went to return the boards I was hoping to see the manager but they only had young people working there and they didn't deserve my anger. This place has become a joke of a once proud establishment, they now even outsource there bread because they can't meet the demand. Stay away and go to other places because this place is a disaster!!

And I have been going here for well over 10 years, and not once has something like this happened until very recently. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy shopping at North Shore Farms and appreciate how the store has a variety of products I can't find anywhere else. The store is also always well-stocked and clean, and it's easy to find things. The bakery and hot food sections are also stellar; though the variety of hot food has decreased somewhat over the years they do still updated with new offerings so there is something for everyone. However, I am baffled and disappointed by the fact that this location has put out and sold customers, such as myself, expired items in the refrigerated section in the middle of the store. Just yesterday, June 13th, I bought a ricotta cheese which was in this section and had a "sell before" date of July 8th; upon taking it home it tasted spoiled and we immediately had to discard it. I'm not sure when the item was packed, but I have a gut feeling that the sell by date listed on the box was inaccurate. The other two times I experienced this were also with cheese, as well as with cold cuts. I highly recommend that this location look into ways in which they can prevent spoilage of items from the refrigerated section and ensure that their customers are getting food that is fresh and well-maintained. UPDATE (6/15/2026): Make that *four* times. I bought fresh fish from the seafood counter and was about to cook it last night however, when I unwrapped it from the parchment paper that it had been stored in, I was hit with a significantly rancid smell and I think I was sold fish that was not fresh either. I'm not sure what's wrong, maybe the temperature of the refrigerators in the store aren't high enough, but I really hope that it can be corrected soon because otherwise this location is risking losing a customer in me. Which is a shame because this has been a mainstay store that I have been going to for years and I don't want to risk my health being in danger due to buying spoiled food that is being marketed as "fresh."
