I spent a few weeks in Corolla and Uncle Ike's and their sister restaurant Ike's Bites were both my go to restaurants while I was there. The staff is super friendly, the drinks and the food were all really good. I tried everything from seafood to burgers, etc and everything was always seasoned and cooked perfectly! Thank you to all of the servers, bartenders and chefs that made my eating experience great every time! When I return to Corolla these two restaurants will definitely be on my list of places to eat for several meals again!! read more

Tried this restaurant on our last night in Corolla. The shrimp was good but the sides (potatoes and green beans were cold). My grandsons got a kids meal with fries and the fries were cold as well. Very disappointing considering the price. read more

Firstly the seafood was fresh and yum. The firecracker shrimp were great. Its a bit over priced for being a bar environment. The salmon imperial was great perfectly broiled lacked salt though. Our server was great. She was prompt no mistakes. Food came out accurate the first time. Although she wasn't happy when we changed our mind about our fountain drink. we ordered 3 firecracker shrimps awesome worth not worth $ 36.00 1 crab fries $12.00 okey.. needs more seasoning 1 kids hamburger meal $8.00 over priced not well done. Headed here for dinner with a party of ten. We sat at outside tables at next to each other. 4 stars because it took a long time to get our meals, but everything was fantastic! Salmon and strawberry salad, fish and chips, fish tacos, mahi, and seafood platter. Specialty drinks were yummy, beer selection was good. read more

We walked in with high hopes but left disappointed. The pricing was way higher than it should have been. A pasta bowl was $28! There were 6 orders and only 2 were correct. The food was good, but took awhile to get (it was not overly busy). The waiter was super nice but the person helping him seemed like it was an inconvenience for us to be there for dinner at 6:30. We really wanted to enjoy our experience and kept giving them the benefit of the doubt but All left wishing we had gone somewhere else, and will in the future :( read more

We love this place and come each time we are in OBX! Stayed a week and came here our first and last night. The shrimp and scallop tacos are AMAZING!!!! Takes a little time to get your food but that's because it's freshly made. Our waitress we get all the time is soooo nice, you don't even notice the wait. Called for take-out order. The order was wrong, forgot one entree, then blamed it on me that I didn't order correctly. When in reality, the backround music was too loud, therefore they heard the order wrong. The fish taco's were without seasoning, and tasteless. The french fries were mush, underbaked. I didn't appreciate having to drive back to pick up the "forgotten" entree, then told "You forgot to order it". Also, was told pick up order in 25 min, which I did. It was nothing special. Got takeout crab cakes, fish & chips, and fried chicken. Crab cakes were soggy. Fish and chips bland and dried out....don't get this. Fried chicken decent flavor. We ordered "dinner meals" which is clearly not their strength. Subpar taste at an above average cost. read more

Subpar service, really small portions, and overpriced. The chicken I ordered on the salad, was barely cut, the cheese on the Mac n cheese was overcooked, and the server wasn't on top of the drinks at all. There aren't many options up here in Corolla, but I'd rather drive south a couple miles for better options. read more

Have both outside and inside seating. Few younger folks live upstairs over some of the establishments, so if you are sitting outside you could experience some thru traffice, but if you can get over that it's a good spot with good food and service. Good for adults and kids. Decent choices for kids, very good choices for adults. Had the seafood combo and the lump crab cake was AWESOME. This place never disappoints! We stopped in two years ago and went back for their outdoor dining two days ago. Service was a little slow to start but greatly improved. The food is outstanding! Food is decent typical beach easy stuff like chicken burgers and fries but service was lacking. Never could get through on phone. Went to the place and bartender was on phone with friend rather than taking orders. Clearly they needed a good manager on site. Wouldn't go back. We stopped here for breakfast shortly after arriving on the island and were excited about all the great reviews. I got the chicken the waffles... the chicken was delicious, but the waffle was dry and hardly had any flavor. My hubby loves sausage gravy and got some on the side of his meal and said it was the worst sausage gravy he's ever had... same thing, lacked flavor.
