The food here is always a solid local lunch option! However our experience last weekend wasn't as great as it usually is. Our server wasn't around much at all, we never got refills on our chips or salsa, or water/ drinks. It was a Sunday afternoon around 11:30am so an earlier lunch and it wasn't busy in the restaurant at all so that was disappointing. However, the food is still a solid option and I've had a good experience any other time so could have just been an off day

Although I received a response from corporate Guest Services in TX on June 11th offering us back for a complimentary meal, there has been no further communication from them. Seems to me that the problem for their stores may stem from their corporate structure and lack of support for their stores. As of today we are still waiting...,,,,,, Update July 12th 2025: We were invited back by Guest Services Corporate so we agreed to do so. We were met at the front by GM Pedro. He and the Hostess escorted us to choose any seat of our liking. Our Server Mauro was very attentive and friendly, well aware of the menu items. My wife and I agree to order the Combination Platter Special of Spareribs, Chicken and Skirt Steak Fajitas. Wow amazing delicious. Served extremely hot with sides of Spanish Rice and Beans , sour cream, shredded cheese and salsa! The homemade chips and very delicious salsa like no other we have tasted before. Everything made from scratch. The restaurant ambience is extremely unique and comfortable. Thanks for the invite for giving us an opportunity to dine at your establishment again.

Convenient Mexican restaurant when you are around in bridgewater mall. Family went out for some mall fun in the weekend and got hungry. Uncle Julio was inside the mall and we decided to give a try. No some mann tables on weekends noon time was a bit surprise but we went inside anyway. Lovely Mexican interior decor with Mexican elements for sure. Service was excellent and friendly. We ordered fajitas for two which turned to a lot food!!! Guacamole was just mediocre but probably we ordered house guacamole but not the self made one! Plenty food and taste was good! Not too over the moon good but decent Mexican food you will expect. Will come back again if craving.

Overall was not impressed by this place. Our server was very nice but the food took forever to come out. Seemed like they were understaffed and confused. Good came and it wasn't very good. The combination plate looked messy and unappetizing. The fish tacos were bland. guacamole was just mashed up avocado with no flavor to it. Drinks were good, the watermelon Margarita I had was great for a hot day! Overall would only be returning for drinks if I happen to go again.

The first time we tried this place the food was not fresh. We wanted to give it another shot. We went around lunchtime. There were people but not too busy. We had the special Ribs & Combination Fajitas with chicken, steak and ribs with peppers, onions and rice and beans, sour cream, guacamole and shredded cheese for the fajitas. It came out sizzling. Everything was fresh and the food was hot. I am very pleased with the quality of the food, the level of service and attention by the waiter.

Came here for taco Tuesday. We had a 20 min wait for a table. We got complementary chips and 2 salsa's. We ordered the taco Tuesday platter with chicken and beef. It was good but the food was luke warm. We then ordered churros. They were the worst churros I ever had in my life. All in all ill come back for the taco Tuesday special.

Stopped in recently to try this out. It's connected to the mall and has outside seating which is great for warm weather days. While not packed they were a bit shorthand so we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Wait staff was very friendly, helpful and the complimentary hot chips and salsa were great. The food was really fresh and I liked the crispy tacos I ordered. The churro was not very sugary but the chocolate and caramel dipping sauces were fantastic. Solid place to try when you're in the area or want a bite while at the mall if you have time.

Welcome to the Bridgewater area. We really pack good Mexican restaurants. The place is huge and the serving is friendly and quick. We were celebrating a birthday and really had fun with their birthday chocolate piñata dessert. You just try (though it's fairly $$$). Food is a bit blended - as one would expect from a large place.

Bottom line: for a chain restaurant in the Bridgewater mall, it's a nice spot. If you like Jose Tejas, you'll like it here. It's a fancier Jose Tejas. We stopped for lunch after a morning of Christmas shopping. I'm having trouble reviewing this place. The ambience is awesome. My friend is Mexican and said it looks like those new upscale Mexican restaurants in Mexico. So we were expecting Mexican. This is Tex Mex. For tacos they have chicken, ground beef and carne asada but no steak. No birria tacos. But they have fajitas and enchiladas. They also make the guac at the table, which is fun for a group. Again, Tex-Mex fare but we didn't realize that based on the atmosphere. We both ordered chicken hard shell tacos. They offer soft or hard. Hard shells are flash fried. Food was fresh and tasty. They give complimentary chips and 2 kinds of salsa: roasted one which was warm and a traditional tomato. We liked them. Chips were warm and crisp. My friend ordered a pineapple lemonade and said it was too tart. That was the only negative. The service was attentive and not rushed. I need to emphasize, this is a solid Tex-Mex chain restaurant. I just don't think I'd come back. We had trouble finding something to order. It was neither a dive Mexican spot, a greasy taco truck or upscale Tex-Mex. It was a smattering of things.

My chicken breast was good (everything else on the plate was bland), and my daughter's green enchiladas were ok. My husband's birria quesadilla was very good according to him and my daughter. The service was awful! The waitress handed us iPad menus and never said to order on the tablet or if she was going to come back for our order. The menu is not extensive, just fyi. You can only get taco platters with all the same taco meat, not a variety. The enchiladas are also only 1 way for all three on the plate. Whatever...I can deal with that, if the food was great. It's not. The black beans were room temp with no seasoning, the corn on the cob - no salt, no butter. The guac was also bland. We were never offered water refills and she never asked us if we wanted a drink until after our meals came. We didn't, but it was said with a huge sigh and eye-roll. As a side note, this was a grown woman waiting on us, like an abuela, not a teenager. She never came back to our table, until she saw another waitress come over and bring us boxes for leftovers - that we had to go to the bar to ask for. Oh, important point - the restaurant was not busy, so she was not in the weeds. The restaurant could be an amazing spot if the service was better and they seasoned the food. It is NOT worth the money.

It took a while to track down the staff who seemed to be busy with take-out orders, so it took a while to order and track them down during the meal. We ordered tacquitos and the chicharron, both were ok. I think both could've used more flavor, as it felt a little underwhelming for my taste. The entrees we had were tortas and tacos and these were both a lot more flavorful. The only issue was with the steak, it was very tough. If I came again, it would be because it's a good-priced meal and I would try other tacos with different meat.

On one visit we ordered nachos as an appetizer, our entrees came out really quickly so we asked for it to be packed to go. The server misunderstood and disposed of the food. Food is inconsistent but spicy chicken is always delish. Also a big fan of their burgers. When done right it's the best burger in the neighborhood. Delivery is often incorrect, but I keep going back for the delicious tacos. Even when they send me the wrong protein and no salsa! Also be aware that if you order the guacamole, it doesn't mean they're gonna send you any chips. I learned that the hard way. The restaurant itself is cute. Doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but they have a huge bar and the seating area is comfortable.

The restaurant serves delicious, fresh food in a very homey atmosphere. The servers are kind, attentive, and so helpful; from time to time, you might even be served by Pancho himself, who is an absolute gem! We started with the guacamole and chips, followed by the nachos, where you can customize them with your choice of meat. For our entrees, we ordered the Huaraches with steak, which is a large, handmade, slightly fried tortilla topped with beans, onions, lettuce, crema, and cheese. We also got the Tacos, which come five to an order. You can choose up to two meats, but we stuck with the classic Al Pastor. The meat was so tender and flavorful, served with the traditional onion, cilantro, and lime on the side. Finally, and my personal favorite, we had the Picaditas. Like the tacos, you can choose two meats, so we went with Al Pastor and steak. Similar to the Huaraches, these are four smaller, slightly fried homemade tortillas with green and red sauce on the bottom, topped with lettuce, onion, and cheese! To wash everything down, we had the homemade Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea), though their Horchata is also delicious. Overall, this is one of my favorite spots; it reminds me of my childhood, and the food is just as good as what you'd find in Mexico. If you're looking for an authentic experience, this is it!
